cleanest storage unit in Nanaimo - well maintained - unique locks - excellent gate hours (6am till 10pm daily) bathroom in here as well - i would give 5 stars but only 4 stars because of the price :( - it's one of the most expensive place to rent a storage unit in Nanaimo but worth it if you can afford :) rented a 10'x10 unit for $199 but it ended up being $240 with taxes and other stuff like $199 for the unit $10 for the lock (the lock you buy can only be used on their storage since it's unique) $10 for one time "admin fee" + taxes Total - $240 Will rent here again in the future when i can afford it but i had to look for a cheaper rental storage unit due to budget :)

I've had three lockers here, and have always been more than happy. The staff are kind and friendly. They keep the facility very clean. Have lockers that fit a wide range of needs. While there isn't 24hr access, the open window is more than reasonable. Would definitely recommend, and use again.

There are places across the land where folks, hobbits and business suits alike require a little hidey hole or full-size spots to store their stuff. This particular point was perfectly priced. Friendly staff behind the desk in a store of items you may need. Boxes, tape, plastic couch covers and more. A complimentary cup of coffee. A smile on their face, service that puts a smile on your face.

First note, I have never done storage with them, this is review is for my other experience with their U-Haul rentals and customer experience. The staff, from frontline to management, have always been very accommodating and easy to work with. Even when changes suddenly come up. They will help, even if nothing for them, happened twice for me now. Recommend from this experience alone.

I rented a locker this last year, and was so happy with the customer service, security, dry/warm locker, as well as the cleanliness of the facility! I am hope ful to not have to use storage space again, but if I have to or a friend, I would highly recommend this facility in Nanaimo.

I have had two storage units at U-Lock Mini Storage and recently emptied one. My experience with U-Lock has been most favourable. The staff are very courteous and helpful and the facility itself is spotless and easily accessible. The desgre of security is reassuring that my belongings are safe and secure. The added benefit of a washroom has been appreciated. All in all I'd give this business a five star rating.

I'd love to give this a 3-4 star but can't for one reason: they sell their locks and key to the tenant so that when your tenancy is over you're stuck with a lock and key that only fits their storage unit door. This is incredibly environmentally irresponsible. That's why this facility gets one star. It isn't thinking about anything other than profit so it is in the hands of the customers to help them become more responsible. Otherwise, apart from there being nowhere near enough trollies to move stuff from point A to B the facility is clean and well run. Just be prepared to pay for a lock you'll have absolutely no way of using afterward.

The storage units are clean, airy and bright, with proper security measures to inspire confidence. But what impressed me even more was customer services. I had to rent two units initially (due to a miscalculation of space required by my moving agent), but you were able to quickly switch to a larger unit to consolidate my belongings after a few weeks. Your staff - especially Jon - were most responsive and ready to help in any way they can, including move-out arrangements. Your customer services were just exemplary!!! I would not hesitate to rent space from you again or recommend you to my friends. Thank you again!
