Employees with great experience in the moving industry know all details and pitfalls, so the crew manager was very helpful in organizing the boxes and loading the truck. 3/5 Company came with a smaller truck then I requested. If I wasn't able to take up 3 carloads of items we would have been stuck making 2 trips with the company truck. I tried to call company and I text Justin and no response.???? The crew at my 1st location did not wear a mask when they arrived so I take that being inconsiderate due to Covid. When they arrived at my new condo building then they only put a handkerchief across their face. Lastly, one of the crew kept asking me for payment immediately before we even got to the 2nd location which I thought was odd because I've moved alot in 9 years and I don't pay my movers until the end of move. They asked me 4x for full payment during the move. I did provide a deposit at the beginning for 150 and I told the gentleman to wait until the end of the move. They were definitely in a rush to get out of my new unit which they left a few items that were heavy standing up which was a little bit awkward for me to move alone as a single person. I did not appreciate that but that's what happened. My sofa was left standing up and then it actually tipped over and chipped my round dining room table. A few items were dragged on the outside ground as well and I told the guy. The 2 guys were polite I will give them that. In future, I will not use this company again. Thank you. Karen Hachey

GetMovers offer a reasonable price for every demand! My team and I have an office in the centre of Toronto. This Summer we were forced to find a cheaper place because of the crisis. You know, prices in Downtown are extremely high, and I expected the same situation with moving services. I was surprised by the honest upfront pricing and no hidden fee. Trained movers managed the task in one day and left a clear office after the departure. You are best, guys, thanks for your help.

We collected plenty of boxes in our basement: old furniture, wardrobe boxes, and even a useless pool table. That’s why we ordered junk removal before transportations. GetMovers came with packing tools and helped us to sort all the stuff. We quickly got rid of unnecessary items. After that, we needed manpower for unloading heavy items and transporting them to the new townhouse. There were no issues during the process, and we managed it pretty quickly.

I was trying to have the issue sorted so that my google review is not this bad but given the unprofessionalism I have received over the last month it leaves me with no choice. If you are looking to use this moving company I urge you to read my experience. I had requested to use the moving service to shift from a 1 bed condo to a 2 bed condo (both the buildings are a 10 min drive apart). I was given a quote by Justin for $450 for August 2nd. Due to some circumstances, my date got moved to August 1st. I was told by Justin that end of month and beginning of each month they have 'Much larger projects worth thousands of dollars' so they cannot move on those dates :). Top notch customer service! Eventually, they agreed to do the move on July 30th but now they were charging me $550 as 'it was close to end of month'. So $450 for August 2nd and $550 for July 30th? How does that make sense? Moving on, the move happened and turns out the movers were not even from their company. They were sub contractors working for a different company (and gave their business cards at the end for future moving services lol). They ended up braking my TV console from Ikea (pictures attached) and the entire move took more than 5 hours (ended up paying $800 plus tax). I reached out to Viktor on August 3rd and was told it will take 7-10 days to 'investigate'. After getting limited response I finally heard back from him on August 16th and he offered me $50 for the damages! I replied saying that as per insurance policy you have to cover 60% of the total value so please get back to me with a fair offer as this is just not fair. My costs for repairing are much higher. August 18th I followed up and no response. August 20th I followed up and was told that they are still investigating the matter and they will 'get back to me shortly'. No response received till now. I sent a follow up on August 31st, called multiples times today and even sent another email. If you are reading this and thinking it is a good idea to go with this company because of the cheaper rates I urge you to consider that the level of quality and professionalism you will be receiving will be sub par. And if anything were to go wrong you can tell me from experience solving it will be a bigger pain than moving. Did I mention that their receptionist hung up on me as I was trying to get this issue sorted? I was nothing but respectful to her! Moving is extremely stressful. Please pay the higher price to a larger more professional company so you can avoid this nightmare. I will update my review based on the responsive I receive as I am still giving them an opportunity to solve this issue professionally.
