Can't recommend this company enough. They first helped with a full service move from our house to condo in the Collingwood area. The guys were speedy, professional, and got our things moved without damaging the items or the walls/floor within our home. When moving our sectional into the condo, they realized it likely wouldn't fit around a tight corner, so they got creative and were able to lift it up and bring into the condo through the balcony! We then used them for junk removal when we had 2 pieces of furniture that did not fit our decor. They removed the items very quickly and professionally, again making sure not to damage the walls, etc. It's always a pleasure speaking to Zach and getting to know his staff as well. I will be using them for all future moves, junk removal, and storage needs that we have. Keep up the great work!

These guys are amazing. My family went through a very complicated purchase and sale transaction which caused our moving date to change 2 times, the second time being less than 24hrs from our scheduled move. While my wife and I were getting gouged on both ends of our real estate deal, Zach was one of the only people involved who was actually there to help us. When I told him that i feel bad about having to change the date he said "don't feel bad, helping people is easy"... If only every person in a service based business felt that way, the world would be a much better place. I cannot say enough about their exceptional service and professionalism and just the way they will go the extra mile for their customers. Highly recommended!

did not return any messages, was a no show to a booked move. steer clear!! update...Turpin has done two moves for us. one was a move from the city which was an ok move, great team, but pricing/quote ended up being different then stated. Second was a two part move with storage between of my cousins property until he got his place.... We were told the items were on site, which ended up being a lie. so no, this is not fake, and i can upload the invoices if you require? I have not used the same email as the one i hired you under as you know where we live since you moved us lol so no that wouldnt be smart would it?

Zach, the Director, visited our house on request and had a quick scout around to see what needed moved. He gave us a quote. We then got an email confirmation the next day with all of details confirming the cost and when it was happening. Moving day came. Excellent service. Very helpful lads. Turpin moved the contents of our home from Thornbury to Meaford, Ontario. The moving crew were courteous, efficient an friendly. They moved within the time that was specified in our contract. However the crew did minor damage to a door and noted this to us and took photos. I requested that Turpin repair this damage via an email to them. They never responded, so I had to pay for the repairs myself. I would have at least expected a reply from them, but I never heard back.

I first became aware of Turpin when I purchased an appliance from a store that wasn’t doing their own deliveries due to the Provincial lockdown. When Zach called me to arrange my delivery and pick up of my appliance (new/old) I asked about helping with another move. He said he’d pencil me in. I had another delivery from another furniture company that was only dropping my furniture off at my front door. I asked Zach if they could pick it up for me or come and move it from my garage. Zach called my furniture company to see if he could pick it up but my furniture was coming from a different city. He called me and said it would be cheaper for me for them to come and move it after delivery. I was very happy for his advice and his flexibility with my dates. Both times his team members were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them! I will definitely be using them for my next move or with any heavy lifting I need!

Very friendly young team. The packing left something to be desired however. They wrapped books in paper before putting them in a box. Several times I found serving bowls upside down at the bottom of a box with heavy things in it - one precious bowl broke. They used way too much plastic tape. My velvet headboard- while wrapped- obviously had something leaning on it in storage and now it is marked. A few pieces of furniture were dented/damaged. I just found them a bit careless especially while unloading. That said, they were easy to work with and everything left and arrived as planned.

Just as a follow-up on yesterday's move I thought I'd let you know that Dalton and Nate were great - very accommodating and efficient. They overcame a few obstacles like fitting a large couch through tiny doors, challenging parking situations and carrying heavy items down stairs. I was impressed!

Zach and his team at Turpin did a great job on a specific piece I needed moved to my basement. I had a very large, heavy gun safe that I needed moved. When I first called Zach he came by to look at the safe and the finished staircase and turns it had to go down to the basement. He explained everything he would do to protect the wood stairs, trim, walls, etc. I thought he was very professional when he actually suggested I contact another bigger company that would carry more insurance in case of damage given the tough move down the stairs after his assessment. Well I have to tell you the other moving company was very unprofessional with no suggestions for protection and said they would send two guys, without even looking at the safe or stairs, and I would have to supply and put down any protection I wanted and that there was no guarantee against damage. I called Zach back, told him I appreciated his honesty and the tough job ahead. He showed up with himself and 3 other guys, so 4 not 2, and needed every one! They did a great job in what I thought might end up being an impossible job. I would recommend Turpin to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking, knowledgeable mover.
