You know when things go so smoothly you're waiting for something bad to happen? That was my move yesterday. The movers arrived early and worked quickly. They went above and beyond to wrap and protect my stuff and ensure everything was packed in a way that would limit movement in the truck. They even rolled out red carpets to protect my floors. When we got to my new apartment, they worked quickly to unload the truck, never complaining about the heat, humidity or difficult and narrow hallways in the building they had to navigate. They were personable and professional during the entire move and I still can't believe how easy they made everything. Because of their amazing work, I was moved and unpacked(!) in less than 8 hours. I have already recommended them to several people in less than 12 hours and I will continue to recommend them whenever asked. I hope I don't have to move again, but if I do, I will absolutely call Agusta Movers. Fast, professional and fair priced. They were perfect.

Augusta Movers were extremely professional with our move! Our house was entirely handled by them. They packed, prepped our furniture prior to loading and did the actual move. Packing supplies and moving boxes were also supplied at a very affordable price. We have used movers in the past (5 years ago) but Augusta were different. The guys really cared about our stuff. All promises and arrangements were followed closely and Dave the manager made sure we had all the furniture and boxes placed where we want it them. Over all experience was very pleasant and I would use them again in a heart beat! best mover ever!

I hired Augusta Movers after searching online and seeing their online reviews. I initially received a quote for 3 hours going to 3 different places to pick up and drop off at one location. No questions asked, no sighs on the phone, they just quoted me, booked the date and asked for confirmation. The confirmation was clear and easy. On the day of the move, I had two large wardrobe units that I thought could've made it down the stairs and that is why I didn't book for disassembling / reassembling services, but the units were too large. Michal (I hope I have this right ) and his partner (I forgot his name) were excellent. They disassembled on the spot and moved without complaining. The entire move was 6 hours which includes travelling time and dis/reassembling. Overall I am very happy with the service I received. There are cheaper companies out there but not sure you will receive the same quality service. One think I must say, is that they didn't do a 50/50 job reassembling the units, they made sure everything was correct and right. I highly recommend Augusta Movers!

I have moved MANY times in the last ten years and this was by far, my best moving experience. The estimate was spot on, the movers were extraordinarily careful and lovely to deal with, and best of all - no hidden costs whatsoever! I was supposed to have friends and family help me with my move but when the stay at home order went into effect, I was left scrambling. With less than 24 hours notice, Dinko made it happen for me. Huge shout out to Padwinder and Parwiz for making the move headache-free and seamless. Cannot recommend this company enough.

Augusta Movers did an excellent job from the quote to the actual move. The online booking system is efficient and makes the house content easy to list, and Dinko was very quick to answer my questions and willing to check his crew's availability and change the date a couple of times. The three movers were polite and efficient and managed to dismantle and move the treadmill without any problem when other companies had made a big deal and claimed they needed four guys for it. The movers took one hour less than estimated, which was great. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the hidden fee. The quote included travel fee of $149 and gas surcharge ($80) - both of which I knew about and was fine with - but I was surprised to see that they charged me 45 minutes in addition to that for travel time (they arrived at 8:45 am but their start time as indicated on their paperwork was 8am). I questioned both the driver and the office about it, and I got confusing statements: Email 1: Those are standard surcharges that apply on all moves. Surcharges of course vary depending on distance. We do not add additional transportation, truck or Km fees. Given that there is a travel fee and gas surcharge, I don't think this statement is accurate. Email 2: Our billing starts when we leave our yard plus all the applicable surcharges. The bottom line is that they did a very good job and despite the hidden fee they are competitively priced and I would use them again. It's just something customers should be aware of.

All the movers were very polite and efficient. Due to schedule conflict, I only requested for packing services and furniture preparation. Next time I will definitely use them for the entire move.

This company is really shady. Their movers were efficient but they broke my expensive hand made planter from Mexico, then refused to pay for the damage. When I contacted them about the damage, they suddenly "dont move plants or planters." Give me a break! Then I have a small missing bracket for my bed! They also charged me $220 more than the original estimate. I do not recommend!

Augusta moved my parents from Ontario to Alberta. The office staff is attentive and professional and answered all of our questions. There was a bit of a delay on moving day as there was some problem getting a truck on the last weekend of the month. However Kyle worked hard and made good on the agreed move date and the crew showed up later that day. Everything got where it needed to be with no issues. Augusta Picked up my items from my home in Burlington and the two young men that picked them up were courteous, cheerful and experienced and took special care with each and every item. Once the items were picked up Augusta managed the move to BC and my items arrived safely much to my relief. I can say that my move was a good experience and would recommend Augusta to anyone. They are professional and honest and today that is important.

Dinko was very quick in answering all my questions. We needed to move our 4-bedroom house and were not sure whether we would need a house-to-house move, or whether we would need to temporarily rent storage. The moving team was amazing. They were so nice and professional and so quick. They showed up early and finished several hours ahead of what I was quoted (finished in 3.5 – 4 hours, quoted at 6 hours for a bachelor apartment moving to a two bedroom, both second floor walk-ups). The quotes for this company were on the high end, but they did provide three movers, as opposed to two from the other quotes I got. Most quotes were around 3-4 hours and $600 - $700, the quote from Augusta was around $1200 for 6 hours. I went with Augusta though because they were more responsive than the other companies I was getting quotes from and some of the others didn't have availability to move on my select date. I felt the company itself had a lot of rules (example: you have to pack clothes in boxes, not bags) and the website user interface wasn't very good when selecting items for the quoting process. I felt some charges were superfluous, like a $99 extra charge for moving my fish tank. I was also charged for 4.5 hours but really the whole move took from 7:50 am to 11:30 am, so it wasn't even 4 hours. I guess they charge from the point the moving truck leaves to the point it comes back? TL;DR: Excellent team of movers who handled my items with care. Company seems kinda greedy, though.

We used Augusta to move from our condo to our townhouse. The two movers that arrived were very courteous and arrived on time (if not a little bit early). They promptly surveyed our situation and got to work. After getting everything onto the truck they drove over to our new place. There was a minor hiccup in getting there but a quick call later, all was resolved. At the new home, the crew unloaded as diligently as they loaded maintaining a positive attitude throughout. Within no time, all was done and we were off to bed. Throughout the process, from booking onwards, Augusta was quick to respond to any requests we made and even when something couldn't be done, they made every effort to try first (very much appreciated!). We would definitely recommend to our friends and family and use them again for any future moves.

We moved out of a 3 bedroom home in the North York area. We hired Augusta Movers to do the pack and the move for us. After receiving our initial estimate and speaking to Steve we were confident enough to book our move with them. The service was phenomenal! The four men were on time, clean cut, experienced and most importantly very pleasant to deal with. We had to wait around for our key, which added to what was already going to be a very long day and the movers took the news with a smile on their faces and even asked us if they can help with something since they are on the clock working for us. How nice this was! :) Finding the right company was not an easy task and we had 4 quotes from four different companies, all four were competitive but we felt most comfortable to go with Augusta. Reasons why: 1) The turn around for getting the estimate was the shortest out of all four companies 2) The agreement outlined all details clearly: rate, number of movers, fees, hours estimated, etc. 3) Their inventory calculator was consumer friendly and very easy to navigate. 4) Their estimate was not the highest of the four. 5) Great online reputation. I will strongly recommend this mover if you are looking for premium services!

We relocated from Ottowa to the GTA area a week ago and we hired Augusta Movers to do the long distance move for us. Both, myself and my partner were impressed with the attention to the detail this company offers. Pros: fast, efficient, experienced, polite, courteous staff. All guys had excellent attitude! Clean equipment and trucks- This was very important for us! Their furniture pads were brand new looking and the trucks were actual moving vans, that provided proper strapping of our shipment. This company also uses floor coverings. Another thing that added value to our move as we were looking to leave our old home in a pristine condition. Cons: the guys should take more breaks :) These 'house hold transferring specialists' were nothing short from the best company we have used to date. We would personally like to also thank all the staff in the office for their professionalism and for keeping us informed throughout the entire process. Well worth the price!

Fantastic crew! We are moving to USA and needed a professional company to prepare and load our furniture and boxes into 40' container. The crew of 4 men were extremely knowledgable and professional. All of our furniture was wrapped in corrugated paper and then stretch wrapped for extra protection. We live in a 3 bedroom 2 storey home with a finished basement and a shed full of stuff. The guys from Augusta managed to finish the project in less then the estimated time. The speed and the quality of their work is the best in the industry, in my opinion. We moved across provinces few times and Augusta Movers really impressed me and my family with their great customer services and professional and quality work! We are not sure if we are coming back any time soon but we will surely recommend them to friends and family. Could not have been any happier with my experience!

May 26/2020 was our move from a house to a condo. The 3 fellows were on time and started working together, each doing their job. They were very quick to package & load our furniture. Once we arrived at our condo, the above ground parking lot was being paved so they were not able to park in front of the elevator loading dock. Even though they had to do some walking, they finished unloading & putting our furniture together in record time. The fellows were very professional, courteous & respectful of our furniture. Everything went very well and we were very happy with the move process (nothing was lost or broken). Great job
