Friendly, professional, and reliable, both on the phone and in person. Meticulous and detail-oriented. The movers gave a courtesy call to reassure that they were on their way to meet the time window they stated which they did. They worked quickly and efficiently, taking good care of valuables, and ensuring everything was secure. Did a great job all-in-all. There was one issue however as they had damaged the front door of my new apartment during the move, so much that it couldn't close. Fortunately, despite it being a sunday night, my neighbour was a handyman who was able to help me do a patch up job until it can get fully repaired. Ideally the movers should have removed the door beforehand.

Truck arrived at promised time, movers were very professional and quick. All furniture was wrapped into blankets, and nothing get scratched in transport. Big sofa could not fit to elevator, so it was carried through staircase to 3rd floor. Bill was clearly presented and was accurate . Definitely they do not deserve the rating they have. More than $500 in damages and scratches... Broken technical equipment, broken plastic containers, broken flower pots, damaged and scratched furniture, frozen flowers, etc., needles to continue... Advice: all your technical equipment, flowers (if you have any) and fragile objects is better to move them yourself. Keep only carton boxes and clothes, something which when falls from 1-2 meters high (from their dollys) will not break. Overall very slow and unprofessional service. In my wildest dreams I didn't expect to be so bad. I hope this review helps you little to take the right decision.

They did my move once and a piece of my lamp went missing. I needed a second move and called them up, the guy on the phone agreed to charge me 1 hour travel time and 2 hours minimum work but on the quote he decided to increase the travel and work time. When I called to tell him to stick to his work, he hung up the phone!!! Really poor service ????????????

We were told we can e transfer 30 mins before moving complete, but a lady called with quite aggressive tone telling us we couldn't do it after we already transferred. We used Anber to move from our apartment in montreal to our new house in Laval, and I could not have been more impressed. The initial phone contact was very smooth, I even got a call a couple of days ahead confirming our appointment, when I asked if I can move the date closer they said yes with no hesitation. The guys arrived on time and ready to work, they moved everything in 4.5 hours. The guys where all amazing fast and honest. What impressed me the most is that ike (sorry not sure about the spelling) found my engagement ring I had lost a couple on months back it would have been very easy for him to keep it, however he came to see me to return it. And that says a lot about a person and very highly about Anber moving company. When we got to the new house nothing was broken or damaged. They handled all of our furniture with the utmost care. This company sent 3 guys. They showed up on time, they all had a great sense of humour and were really professional. Wrapped every item in protective blankets and were very careful not to damage walls going down the stairs. They unloaded very carefully at the new destination and were right on the estimated time and costs. I highly recommend them. It was a very comfortable experience dealing with them.

The company sent me two movers, One of the movers was not happy, and all time was swearing in his language, and almost blaming me that i made him work in his weekend! besides in the end, they broke two decorated lighters, and told me its expected! Anber movers staff were very professional and efficient. They covered up all my furniture and helped me dismantle my couches. I was moving a one-bedroom apartment and had a lot of furniture to move so I was worried about how long it would take since the movers charge per hour. To my surprise, it took a lot less time than I expected. My mattress wouldn't fit through stairwell at my new place, so they hooked it from the backyard and lifted it 3 stories. Very satisfied with the quality and speed of the service. Would definitely use again and recommend to everyone.

Anber movers was great to deal with from beginning to end. They were very clear about their rates and followed up a week before the move. The movers themselves were efficient and respected fragile items. They were very nice and made the move as stress free as possible. They even disassembled and re-assembled the bedframe/headboard. I would highly recommend them!!! Be sure to sort out yourself where the moving truck is supposed park at both locations so that they have clear directions.

My experience of moving from 5229 yesterday was one of many in my 55 year life and I can say with great pleasure that Anber Moving was the best by a significant measure. The trio headed by Sr. Carlos (with son, brother-in-law) was absolutely magnificent! It was so wonderful to watch this crew as their faces were lit up in great big smiles resembling the cheerful Christmas lights all the while they worked. Our move took 11 1/2 hours due to three drop offs at different locations and I can say that I was more tired watching the movers they they looked. They worked with great confidence, calmly, diligently and efficiently. I found them to be genuinly considerate and compassionate. They worked in harmony flawlessly. Sr. Carlos orchestrated his crew with the flair of a symphony conductor. I couldn't ask for more from any movers, and can't thank Anber Moving enough for sending me this crew to complete the job with complete satisfaction. My moving experience is 7 stars out of 5 stars. Carlos's team was a fantastic team. They arrived on time, were fast, efficient and very helpful. But the best of all, was to see how they such a hard work with a smile! My only complaint would be about the estimation. Graham, the person who came to my place to do the visual, said that pianos were handled by them. When the team came to my place, they hadn't been informed about the piano on the first hand, and on the second hand they did not to pianos. Estimation was below what we ended up paying. Also, I was well prepared: removed my car from the driveway, packed well, removed shelves, removed inside stair banister, and cleared the door and hallway passage to give them room to work. The 3 movers, three Russian gentlemen, were excellent. They were punctual, courteous, and worked super fast. They were able to quickly break apart and reassemble some large pieces of furniture, and they were very careful to wrap and protect everything. They worked like machines, it was impressive. My ONE negative comment would be re: one of your phone representatives. It was a woman, who sounded in her 40s-50s. I had two conversations with her and both times I thought she was curt and borderline rude, and my wife felt the same way. It almost made me not want to deal with this company at the beginning, but regardless I trusted the google reviews and I’m very glad I did. And to be fair I also another conversation with a different agent phone rep, a man this time, and he was an absolute gem, super polite.

Manager had trouble coordinating to provide enough movers as per the contract. (One mover didnt show up and they sent another one 1.5 later) The moving team were as good as I expected! I moved with Anber April 5, 2019 and I can honestly say that it was the absolutely best moving experience ever. I had a lot of stuff (64 boxes of books alone) and as anyone who's done the packing on their own, it became clear that the more I packed, the more sh*te there seemed to be; they arrived on time (3 men) and I was still packing as they began the procedure: a simply BRILLIANT team (as opposed to 3 'beefcake' bodies) - these guys performed like a well choreographed dance team. They were unfailingly polite, good natured, keeping up a steady rhythm without slacking off or complaining about the 3rd floor, no elevator, winding staircase, etc. These guys showed that they had BRAINS not just BRAWN; they were brilliant and obviously thoroughly experienced and used to working SMART, yet careful. They anticipate last minute hitches and come ready with not only wardrobe boxes, but tools to help disassemble furniture at the last minute to save space (also remembering to verify what goes and what gets left behind.) The loading of the truck went smoothly with plenty of blankets to cover larger pieces of furniture and within a few hours (Friday afternoon, downtown) the Anber truck arrived at its destination (Depotium storage on Robert Bourassa & William) and proceeded to unload: again, they were clever and speedy in carefully but securely placing my possessions on to the trolleys and service elevator and filling the 10' container even though it was on the second level. Having had lots of experience in moving, (4 continents, 6 countries), and having seen more than my fair share of 'The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly' and it is without reservation that I recommend Anber for a stress-free, seamless moving experience. Good movers if you have a big move and a big budget. They will show up on time and handle your stuff with care. Be aware that "four movers" means three movers and a driver. For small moves, they are a ripoff. They have no small trucks and charged me for the half hour it took them to park their enormous van. They also charged for half an hour driving to new place, which was 7 blocks away. Three-room apt, no appliances, no sofa, nothing big, yet I paid as much as if I were moving an entire house, double the estimate.

Very Pathetic Service. They broke my TV and other fragile items as well during the move. Even though I bought the insurance with the move but they refused for the insurance claim. He totally miscalculated the size of the move and wanted to get 50% more on the delivery day and would not unload truck until receiving payment - all this without any notification. Movers Beware! This is the second time I used Amber movers and will be the last. I did an identical move from type of building; elevators were ready and they could park right in front. I was the first move of the day and they arrived 45 minutes late and no reply at the office. (My time is worth money too). The move took 30% longer than last time not including travel time even though I have less boxes and furniture. They scratched the door and floor and basically told me too bad. So it was a very costly and negative experience - think twice & shop around! Janice

I was a bit surprised at the end with a bill 30% higher than what I was quoted even though the moves took 45 minutes each and there was no furniture. So I felt a bit blindsided by a quote of $680 and a bill of almost $1000. The other thing was I booked the move in advance, letting them know i would need the movers to arrive after 3pm - which is also what's quoted on the contract for arrive time -and they called me at 12pm saying they were 25 minutes out. Then i had the head office call me asking if they could come at 1, and pushed for them to come at that time. They then contacted my apartment managers and they called me saying someone was outside with my deliveries. Thankfully my manager was kind enough to let them in and supervise the move for me. But it makes me wonder what I would have been charged otherwise. Apart from that, the moves went well, and 2 of the 3 movers were friendly/courteous/kind. I have yet to see if anything was damaged in the move. Simply based on the huge difference between quote and bill, i dont think I'd use Anber again.

The evaluation of 4hrs have become 6hrs plus 1 h for the lorry. I had to pay for smoking periods of about 15-20 minutes every 90 mns of work. At the end I paid for 7hrs for 3 guys for a total of 933 CAD, whereas the estimated cost was a little more than 50 % of the final one. My dining table has been damaged and the co did not want to hear or compensate. Avoid this company, as there are not honest.

Monsieur Gr... s'est quand même présenté avec 2 hommes pour constater les dommages puis il a piqué une crise de colère violente non fondée et d'une rare agressivité. J'avais 2 témoins en plus des 2 hommes de l'équipe Anber présents. Si j'avais été seule, je me demande si cet homme violent m'aurait battue ou tuée ou s'il aurait saccagé mes biens. Faire affaire avec la cie Anber m'a coûté presque le double du prix de mon déménagement précédent alors que j'avais moins de meubles et de boîtes quand j'ai déménagé avec Anber. Avec Anber, ce n'est pas une aubaine et l'expérience "après-vente" n'est pas recommandable.

I was not very impressed by Anber movers. They were very nice and mostly on time. But it also took 4 people 3 hours to move 100 or so boxes out of my first for walk-up. That's about 25 boxes per person over 3 hours down one flight with my help. At the delivery, they spent an hour getting lunch and charged me for it. I don't mind then eating at all, I do mind paying 180$ an hour for it. At the end of the day only a few things were broken and the guys were nice enough, but somehow it cost me just under 1500$ to move. 4 1/2 walk-up to a house 15 minutes away.

My Elderly mother recently hired Anber to move her. She has not left her house since the pandemic started. She has lung problems and because of the pandemic requested that the employees arrive and keep masks on. They refused to do so on arrival. So much for protecting the elderly, the vulnerable. So much for following guidelines. Three strong young men refusing to care. My telephone complaint was received but changed nothing. I was told how heat exhaustion was a problem for the movers ... last week it was extremely hot ... the day of her move only 11 Celsius. It was suggested my mother wear a mask and keep her distance. She had a large piece of furniture that would not exit the apartment but through the first floor window ... +$100? There was no inconvenience to the movers ... not sure why there was such a hefty fee.
