In addition, my BBQ fell when it was put in the truck and the front door and a side arm were damaged. The company says they have insurance, but there was never any question of making a claim. The owner has "repaired" the arm by removing the dent, but obviously that does not return the bbq to its original state. When I demanded that I be compensated financially, I was told that I would be contacted after the peak season .. I relaunched the company in October and am still waiting for a return. Not professional at all. (Original) Mauvaise expérience. La compagnie m’avait été recommandée, mais la réputation est surfaite. Premièrement, le déménagement devait se faire en début d’après-midi, mais une mauvaise estimation du déménagement précédent a fait en sorte que notre déménagement n’a commencé que sur l’heure du souper pour se terminer à 23 heures. De plus, mon BBQ est tombé lorsqu’il a été mis dans le camion et la porte du devant, ainsi qu’un bras de côté ont été endommagés. La cie dit qu’elle a des assurances, mais il n’a jamais été question de faire une réclammation. Le propriétaire a ´réparé’ le bras en débosselant, mais évidement ça ne ramène pas le bbq à son état d’origine. Lorsque j’ai exigé qu’on me dédommage financièrement, on m’a dit qu’on me contacterait après la haute saison.. j’ai relancé la cie en octobre et attend tjs un retour. Pas professionel du tout.

We hired the mover of this company in the past and everything went well, but this time we had a nightmare. We had told the company we had to move early and we were told it was the 2nd move in the day so we should move in the early afternoon. We made our reservations accordingly and it was very important for us to be able to move in the early afternoon because we had to travel to Ottawa later in the day. When we call around 14:30, the secretary says they have accumulated a delay for the first move, but they will come right after. We remember an hour later, still having no news from them. The secretary gets angry and says that she can not do anything, that the first move takes longer than expected because the tenants did not give them all the relevant information, and so they sent them another group of movers to come help them. We were therefore taken without movers, having no idea of the time they would come. Some time later, one of the movers calls us to tell us that they were preparing the bill and that they would arrive later to tell us 45 minutes later that they were just starting to unload the furniture and the boxes !!! We were losing all hope. And when we call the secretary to tell her about the problem, she begins to insult us and make us feel like nothing! They finally arrived just in the evening to make the move. Conclusion: - Company is not reliable, do not rely on them - Extremely unpleasant secretary (Original) Notre expérience avec la compagnie de déménagement Gareau a été vraiment décevante et frustrante. On a embauché les déménageurs de cette compagnie dans le passé et tout s’était bien passé, mais cette fois-ci on a vécu tout un cauchemar. On avait avisé la compagnie qu’on devait déménager tôt et on nous avait dit qu’on était le 2e déménagement dans la journée et donc, qu’on devrait déménager en début d’après-midi. On a fait nos réservations en conséquence et c’était très important pour nous de pouvoir déménager en début d’après-midi parce qu’il fallait se rendre à Ottawa plus tard en journée. Quand on appelle vers 14h30, la secrétaire raconte qu’ils ont accumulé du retard pour le 1er déménagement, mais qu’ils viendront tout de suite après. On rappelle une heure plus tard, n’ayant toujours pas de nouvelles de leur part. La secrétaire se fâche et dit qu’elle ne peut rien faire, que le 1er déménagement prend plus de temps que prévu parce que les locataires ne leur avaient pas donné toutes les informations pertinentes, et donc qu’ils leur avaient envoyé un autre groupe de déménageurs pour venir les aider. On était donc pris sans déménageurs, en n’ayant aucune idée de l’heure à laquelle ils allaient venir. Quelques temps plus tard, un des déménageurs nous appelle pour nous dire qu’ils étaient en train de préparer la facture et qu’ils arriveraient après pour nous dire 45 minutes plus tard qu’ils étaient juste en train de COMMENCER à débarquer les meubles et les boîtes !!! On était en train de perdre tout espoir. Et quand on rappelle la secrétaire pour lui faire part du problème, elle se met à nous insulter et nous faire sentir comme des moins de rien ! Ils sont finalement arrivés juste en soirée pour faire le déménagement. Conclusion : - Compagnie aucunement fiable, ne comptez pas sur eux - Secrétaire extrêmement désagréable
