The gentleman showed up on time, took a very brief description of what was being moved and they got right to work! This was the easiest most relaxing move and it was so quick! The original apartment was up 3 flights of stairs and they still moved our entire apartment in record time! 10/10 would always recommend!!

The young guys that were sent to do our move were very polite, efficient, and great at Tetris!! Ha. They laid down mats in the new house as to help keep it clean and protected all our furniture very carefully which I appreciated. Nothing got damaged, which is great! Though they were exhausted by the end of the day, they were all willing to move furniture pieces around for me also which was very helpful. I was a bit bummed that we had to get a second truck but I perhaps should have asked to get an in-home estimate instead of just emailing the inventory. I am not sure it was assessed at to determine the size of truck we needed. I would suggest getting an accurate depiction of the size of truck needed well in advance so the day of moving you don’t end up paying double which is what we got stuck with.

Service was disappointing as the movers seemed to not be trained efficiently. The follow up from the company when we advised them of the damage done from the movers was poorly thought out and very badly handled on their end. I would not recommend to anyone unless you don’t mind your property being damaged and no come back from the company!

I used Forest City movers on July11/18 and due to Toronto lawyers not having their sh** together my belongings ended up being locked in their truck over night and moved out the next morning. Forest City Movers were great! They were extremely accommodating. I found them so respectful and careful with my belongings. I would highly recommend them!

Unfortunately, I have to leave a bad review for this moving company to make potential customers aware of the pitfall they may face if something goes wrong. I must clarify that I contacted the company before posting this review to give them the opportunity to rectify the situation but unfortunately an agreement could not be reached. I communicated by email with the company and supplied pictures of damaged furniture , walls & damaged door frames. I was being more than reasonable with the company and an offer of $100 compensation from them was declined by me as it did not in any way cover the amount of damage done and my out of pocket expenses. When I declined the offer the company representative quoted their terms of service to me and advised me that I am entitled to a maximum of $50 compensation regardless of the damage done to my property. On a positive note, I will mention that the movers were very polite and we felt sorry for them that the company would put them in this position, in my opinion they received very little training and I hold the company fully responsible for equipping and training their staff. Pictures of damage and transcripts of email communication with the company can be shared for the benefit of any readers if required or requested.

The guys were very professional, fast and efficient. Unfortunately their truck was not big enough for our three bedroom house and a second trip to our destination was needed which almost doubled the cost. This did not include the garage, basement or outdoor furniture which we had already moved nor a couple suv's full of boxes and items. I am as disappointed about this also because they had come to the house beforehand and viewed everything that was going and did not mention the possibility of two trips. I was led to believe they had a full sized transport truck. Our destination was an hour away and everything was being put into storage so no set up was needed at the receiving end but it was quite late when the move was completed. We also had to drive both trips with them. But again it was ok in the end with no damage or other concerns.

I cannot give high enough praise for this moving company ! We had booked our move with another company (Citywide Movers) and they didn’t show up for our scheduled move. At 430 on a Friday, Forest City Moving was the only company in London that went above and beyond to help us with our move. Joey had already worked another move that day and Malcolm came to help on his day off. They were fast, efficient, and very nice.

We had a little bit of a bigger move from Ottawa to London, and they made what could have been a very stressful experience super easy and smooth. Joey was incredibly responsive to all my questions leading up to the move and even during. Their communication is unbeatable. They were perfectly on time with no surprises. They also went above and beyond to help us out and had such a positive, easy going attitude throughout the entire process. Super hard workers! It was one of the hottest days and they didn’t even complain once. Their upfront quote did not change even a little bit, which made budgeting super easy as well. If you are planning a move I would recommend you book these guys immediately! We will use them again for sure!!

First, we have moved 4 times in the past 5 years, including one move from British Columbia, so we have lots of experience with moving. We were fortunate to find Forest City Movers this time round; I highly recommend them. They treated our belongings with the utmost of respect and care and absolutely nothing was broken or damaged (not one thing). They also responded well to the lag time it took for closing (on a holiday weekend Friday); they did not complain - they simply did the job and were more than accommodating - they were helpful. I give them 5 stars across all elements of this move.

Let me start off by saying I have used many different moving companies in London. After spending an hour looking at different companies I chose to go with Forest City Moving. The guys were on time however it took them twice as long as they quoted me. When I told them I wasn't willing to pay more than they quoted me, I was told that all of my possessions wouldn't leave the truck until payment has been made. I ended up paying $500.00 more than quoted however I feel like companies acting in this manor won't last long. I recommend you get a flatrate fee or go with another company as I wasn't satisfied.
