I was expecting professional services - I got ‘two guys and a truck’ (aka the subcontractors brought an actual 1/2-ton truck with a trailer, not even a real moving van) and the guys couldn’t care less about professional service. The one guy talked endlessly, kept asking questions about why this, why that, where, how, when - NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS THANK YOU, and a continuous running monologue about his opinions on politics, my housekeeping, my colour choices, good god. Did not use dollys for my furniture, just dragged pieces by their edges across asphalt ruining two pieces of furniture (but of course because they’re made of particleboard there’s NO coverage). I’ve had those same pieces moved eight times before including across province by other companies and NO damage, but now I have to replace furniture because the bottoms of my cabinets are ruined and they no longer stand upright. Boxes marked ‘fragile’ and specifically pointed out as handle with care, squashed. Did not call beforehand to let me know they were on their way, and I only got 15 minutes for my own travel between residences. Did not protect the floors, did not wrap ANYTHING, did not have any means to prop open doors. All this cost me nearly $700?! To travel a few blocks, literally. I might as well have hired two guys off the street. Not happy, not happy at all.

Two Small Men was the best choice for my across town move. The 3 guys showed up, walked the house and went to work. They were extremely fast and efficent. Not one wall hit or bumped in either house. They came in under the estimate I was given. Great job!! I highly recommend Two Small Men for any move.

P.O.S.That hold back unloading the last load (the truck size brought was smaller than the one ordered, hence more loads than were needed) , until invoice was paid by credit card. I wonder why they were worried about getting paid ? Perhaps their inflated price, performance & attitudes? The customers they were dealing with are a honest elderly couple that are hard working people & not complainers or misers). I’m On my way down & after I learn all the details, more info to be added.

Absolutely NEVER use. After given a $575 quote and coming in UNDER time, the mover tried to charge me double. There were no carpet runners laid, new paint completely ruined. Upon calling customer service, I was told "the mover has chosen to do nothing to compensate you, and I support that". The most unprofessional, dishonest, movers that I have EVER hired.

I was impressed by the quick quote and friendly ladies on the phone. Where things fell apart was in the cost. I went with them because of my limited budget. They were the cheapest hourly quote. In reality, I carried, loaded, and unloaded the majority of my possessions myself. Then I found out they farm out the Lethbridge area to one of their competitors. They are the only company to apply a fuel surcharge. The move cost more than the other companies. Use another service and ask for an all in price. Good luck with your move.

Had this company move my family and it was the best decision we made. The men were incredibly helpful and hard working. They were efficient and got the job done in great time. They were friendly and courteous and I would recommend this company and their staff to anyone. As well, the office staff were fantastic to deal with. No stars would be more accurate...they broke items stole items two months later I'm still trying to get my stuff back find out one of there employees stole and cashed a cheque from my old house...my grandfathers watch and lighter are gone...and they try and hand me a bill for storage for items they forgot to bring to my new place when they moved me ...yes u have the receipt paid in full for the move...these people are thieves and liars

This was the most unpleasant experience I've had dealing with any business in a long time, if not ever. I called to book the move and they quoted me for $129 an hour, for a 3 hour minimum including 1 hour to get to and from the job. On the day of the job, the men are almost done the job when they tell me it's a 3 hour minimum plus 1 hour of travel. I call the number I called to book, and I had to try 5 times because no one was picking up. After numerous phone calls back and forth we find out that the person who booked me was not aware of a ridiculous new 4 hour minimum policy. While all this is going on the men stop working while we figure it out. The job is complete in 2 hours and 10 minutes, and they charged me in the end for 3 and a half hours. They charged me for the time they were not working because of an error on their end. Horrendous customer service, and a ripoff.

Well, I had a 3 room house and paid $2200 for a move from Lethbridge to Airdrie. I didn't think that was too bad, middle to high for all quotes I received. It took the movers 6 hours. The movers were young guys. 2 did nearly all of the work and a 3rd did some but took about 20 smoke breaks and often joked how the "younger guys" should be doing the heavy lifting because he had put his time in. Tbh the two movers did awesome. The 3rd guy just seemed to put boxes in random places all over the house. Unfortunately, after they left we started to realize there was a lot of damage to our house and to our furniture. All of our furniture was brand new (we had just relocated from the US just a few months earlier so we had to buy all new furniture). Some even still had the packaging on it. Disappointingly, we had a beautiful murphy bed ($2200) that was really demolished in the move. We had a brand new french door stainless steel refrigerator that was dented badly. We had a dining chair that received a large hole to the leather upholstery and very deep scratches to the wood. These were all unexpected because they had a ton of moving blankets. Apparently they didn't use them much. When the movers showed up it was with a very beat up trailer and truck which appeared to be from another company. I guess either they contracted our move to other movers or they double as another moving company, but if you're expecting a professional-looking outfit, this isn't it. I am in the process of filing claims for the damage to our furniture but communication isn't the best (edit: Ali talked to me today and she was really nice so I gave them another star). We didn't ask for claims for the damage to the house. This company will work if you have furniture you don't mind getting beat up and if you don't mind your house getting dinged a bit. Previous moving companies put down protective paper on floors and such. So I guess I expected that for the price. 2 stars for the 2 awesome movers and 1 star for Ali. Sadly, as I've paid many movers, I wouldn't go with this company again.

This company does not actually have their own trucks, they contract out the move. They contracted our move out to a company that had a beat up pickup truck and trailer that could only travel at 80km/hr on the highway empty. So first the contracted company was 3 hours late (thank goodness we weren't moving on possession day) Then they showed up with a pick up truck and trailer to move a 1600sqft 5 bedroom house. They advised us that they could only load 3/4 of the trailer as it couldn't be loaded full because of the state of the truck and trailer and then could only travel at 50km/hr when it was loaded. Only two guys were sent and the owner said he could send more people and another truck and trailer, but wanted us to sign an agreement to pay them hourly.... Needless to say we didn't sign anything and didn't let them load anything. The owner was shocked that we were upset, even though they didn't have a truck for the job nor enough people. When we called the people we booked they were shocked and unable to help us out. So we had to call another company. Horrible experience to start our move across the province.

These guys were awesome. The crew I had July 8 had a bunch of challenges with my furniture and took each in stride and did a great job. It was also raining pretty good at pick up and they didn’t even flinch. Very professional service from start to finish. Would definitely hire again if I move again and definitely recommend to a friend. Thanks for everything!

The two guys who moved my furniture and boxes where great. They worked hard none stop for about 5 hours, loading and unloading and were very careful. Not one broken object. I would recommend these guys for anyone wanting good value for your $

Do not use this company for a large house move. They will send a smaller unit than you ordered and will tell their movers to just stuff it in. Then you will still have to pay full price, even though you booked well in advance. Quotes are not correct, and they won't do as they say they will. Haven't got a clue about a house move. Maybe good for small apartment, but I couldnt say. Yried to issue a complaint but was ghosted. Over-priced, not proper equipment and bs.

I originally booked for Two Small Men to move my furniture from Lethbridge to Calgary, the folks who managed my booking were very helpful and pleasant. I had to make a last minute change, they were most accommodating and did not make me feel like I was creating a problem, they simply helped me with the changes. The men who arrive to remove the items and load the truck were on time, pleasant, quick and professional. I am about to book with this company again for another move. Using this company was a good choice.

The crew I had was incredible! They were efficient and fast, and patient with us while we helped direct them where things would go. We had a variety of “into storage”, “into new rental house” and “leave for dontations / junk away” I would absolutely recommend them again!!

I'll admit, my partner and I were stressed about having to get movers right now due to financial constrain with COVID-19, but the two movers were quick and really professional. Let's be honest, I would not have been able to carry a couch up three flights of stairs, no matter how hard I tried haha and they did it quickly and set it up exactly where we wanted it. They also were available to help with only a couple of days of notice, which was really appreciated. Overall- great :)
