What a team! Metropolitan Movers (Greater Vancouver) made my latest moving experience THE BEST one ever. These guys were really friendly, professional and most importantly to me, clear with their communication. They showed up on time, worked at an exceptional pace and went above and beyond. Came accross Metropolitan Movers when was browsing for help. Great service - Alex went above and beyond to make our move easier and faster (kudos to his team as well!). Good price, reliable service. All items were packed and carefully transferred to a new place (even fragile items). Every part of the invoice was provided to us in detail. Also, as we didn't have too much of a moving experience, he made some suggestions and reminded us about some things we would definitely forget about. They also removed our old furniture for a little bit extra, which saved us time and money. THANK YOU! I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Metropolitan movers helped us to move from one downtown condo to another one a few blocks away. The quote was professionally prepared after a representative stopped by our place to check out the building, its moving exits and our apartment's contents. On the move day, everyone showed up on time, came prepared, worked really hard and got the job done despite any challenges that appeared during the move. The guys even packed our stuff for us. The furniture was carefully transported including a couple of fragile pieces that have been in the family for years. The best part was their lighthearted attitude. The guys were dressed professionally, respectful of our belongings and also very friendly. This franchise is exceptionally well managed and ran. These are the guys I would call next time we have to move. The most stressful day of the year was almost a breeze, thanks to Metropolitan movers. I highly recommend them.

Alex and his team helped us move to a new place in New West. Everything went well. The guys were on time, got to work right away, worked hard and fast, good communication and finished everything very efficiently. They finished an hour earlier than we expected! Great job! This review is two months late but a late review is better than no review. I had a great experience with Alex and his crew. There were four guys in total and they were quick, efficient, and most of all careful! None of our stuff broke and none of the walls were scratch! I was particularly concern with the sprinkler system in the new place but Alex made sure everyone knew the location! I felt bad as they couldn't find parking by the townhouse and the only parking was a bit farther away. Going up the stairway was particularly bad due to the cramp landing but not a single grumble from Alex crew with these difficulties! Alex's customer service is top notch and I couldn't ask for more. He was organized and thoughtful. Taking an inspection of what items to move and load. He even had the guys wrapped the cabinet so the drawers wouldn't come out ... something I had forgotten to do! I have to say that Alex made a stressful situation considerably less painful! I wouldn't hesitate recommending Alex to everyone I know who is moving and will be using their service again. Hopefully that won't be for a long while ... I hate moving!

I have moved with Metropolitan Movers Two year ago and today. They had different team, but same great service and care with my stuff. The guys helped with packing. They use blankets and plastic wrap which kept all of my staff safe and clean. They moved my 4 bedroom house in Coquitlam in 7 hours, and took only one little break in between. Great company to work with and I will continue to refer and use them for future moves!

Used Metropolitan Movers for my low rise apartment to a high rise. When I called initially, I spoke to someone extremely professional and well informed. They sent me a quote right away with a full breakdown. I called a few other companies but found they were extremely rude or short with me and that is why I chose Metropolitan Movers. When it came time to the move, I was helped by Tony and Anton (hope I'm spelling that right) and they were amazing! They were extremely kind and vocal all throughout the move. They were considerate with my animal while moving furniture from the apartment and they even made suggestions that helped decrease my stress level. I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me move! Definitely would recommend this company!

Our first experience with this company in Dec 2018 was a very positive one so much so that we hired them again October 2019 to help us move. We had moved everything in our condo to a storage locker except for the living room sofa set, 2 end tables, 2 shelfs, 4 bar stools, Desk, King size mattress, bedframe, headboard (taken apart ahead of time) and 2 dressers, 2 night stands and our bbq. Everything had been wrapped ahead of time. The furniture was to be taken down to the truck and then moved to locker in the fraser valley. We expected at the very most it would take about 4.5 hrs including travelling time of an hour. We had next to nothing in the way of furniture needing moved by them! We found the 2 men to be very slow, taking one end table out at a time instead of putting on the dolly and adding the other one on top etc. They spent a lot of time talking instead of working! At one point we had no idea if they had left or where they were as we hadn't seen them for over a half hour. I called them 2x (no answer) and then went looking for them. I came out the elevator and all the furniture they had taken out which was over an hour ago was sitting downstairs in the lobby with the guys no where to be seen! I then went and walked out to the truck which they had parked down the road even though there had been a big parking space provided in front of the building for them! They were in the back of the truck chatting away doing absolutely nothing! Needless to say I wasn't impressed or pleased at all! Its too bad that the 2nd time around with this company was such a lousy experience! We shall NOT ever be using this company again. The guys they sent were total slackers and very lazy and have left a very bad impression! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They overcharge and drag out the hourly time just so they can make more money! Very very disappointing!

Metropolitan Movers

Good professional moving company. They were onetime, and worked without a break. What I personally liked is that they have wrapped all of my furniture in shrink wrap and blanked (no extra cost), nothing was damaged. the staff was friendly, I think that they were Ukrainians, they spoke their language between each other. other than that have no major concerns. I would defiantly recommend this company.

Best moving company we have ever used. Michael and his team worked hard, were on time, courteous and efficient. Great communication from first call to one week out, to night before. Came in under quote with no hidden fees. Would highly recommend hiring the 4 man crew. We had big heavy items and they never grimaced once. Just got the job done. They were amazing. Thanks again.

My husband and I moved to New Westminster from Burnaby and we used the services of Metropolitan Movers GVA. Every aspect of our experience with Metropolitan was excellent!! The quote was accurate. The movers were constantly in touch on the day of the move, showed up on time, were efficient and careful with our belongings. We lived on the 3rd floor and our only elevator had broke on the day of our move....I was going to cancel my move, switch the day and assume all the costs that this would cause but guys from Metropolitan worked very hard to move us from the 3rd floor without the use of the elevator and they ended up not changing us extra for this inconvenience!! We would absolutely use them again for any future moves and recommend them to our family and friends. Thanks so much Metropolitan Movers!!

I would say that I hate to move, however, Metropolitan Movers made this experience fantastic. My furniture was wrapped in blankets and moved carefully, so everything was done carefully and clean. Movers were working fast, as well as the service was excellent. Open for communication and responded to my wishes accordingly. I would recommend Metropolitan Movers for your future moves.
