Guys were clean and friendly, however not that fast. Damaged some of our valuables that we had to claim through our OWN home insurance to replace. Kary Movers covered half of our deductible and picked up and delivered new furnishings and removed damaged. Also, their truck lost a wheel outside on the road between moves. All in all, we're moved in, and settled. Thanks for getting it done.

Nothing but good thoughts about Kary Movers Ltd. Our move was from Abbotsford to Chilliwack. John, Jim and Zak organized and took care of our move. It was a hot day exceeding 27 degrees. They arrived on time and worked steadily until the truck was loaded. A second truck was utilized that was running empty to Chilliwack. Made the loading a lot easier for the team. On arrival all the boxes and items were placed in the rooms as marked or directed. Professional and the total moving package for us. On billing we were pleased, there were no additional fees or hidden costs for the services they provided. Thank you to all at Kary Movers Ltd.

Worst experience ever!!! Took 5 hrs to move 1 queen bed, 1 small dresser, 1 sofa, 1 dining table with 5 chairs, 2 mirrors and 2 Ikea cabinets. They didn't even have to move any of my boxes... DO NOT go with this company. Only 1 guy did all the work. The other just stood around. I have moved before and it cost me less with tip included to move EVERYTHING.

I used Kary's Movers for the 2nd or maybe it was the 3rd time, this May long weekend. Every single time the guys were outstanding! Booking was super easy, accomodating, very reasonably priced..and didn't involve filling out any long, drawn out info about my belongings. Just a basic outline of the details of my move. Actually, despite the company being quite large, and undoubtedly busy, the owner (John Kary) booked my move personally! The movers were on time, and kept me posted as to their progress as I couldn't be present at both ends. They were friendly, very careful but equally fast...absolutely no breakage of any sort. One aspect that I really appreciated was that they asked me whereabouts I wanted certain items placed (even including some of the big boxes!) and whether I required any assembly of my furniture. Anyone would absolutely benefit from hiring Kary's, but particularly as a single woman, there is no WAY that I would trust any other company to move my possessions! No doubt in my mind...you should hire these guys to move your stuff!!

I can tell you straight up! DON'T HIRE THESE GUYS! We had them booked for our move for 9 am on Saturday and they didn't even show up!! How does a moving company not show up or call to warn you the day of your move?? When we booked Kary movers he sounded great on the phone, took all our info, they said that they would be at the move by 9am saturday and also said there was a sale of $132 per hour, so we booked him. Then 9 am came by and nothing! My wife called and no answer! then I called from a different phone and he picked up! he was obviously neglecting my wife call because he knew he screwed up. We had to call around and was lucky to to find Paul's moving in abbotsford. They came to the rescue and did amazing!! google Paul's moving in abbotsford! the guys where amazing!!

Excellent above-and-beyond service by James on two occasions this year when I had to move my mom to new seniors care homes. The latest move happened on a Sunday and we arrived at the destination care home to find we couldn’t move mom’s own bed into the bedroom because the hospital bed that was supposed to be removed was still there and building maintenance was off. No problem — James had dealt with these before and was able to disassemble and remove the hospital bed and avoid an awkward, messy arrival for mom. Very satisfied both times.

I would have given them 5-stars had it not been for the price ($$$$) and the fact that the movers decided to have a coffee break while they were on the clock. Mine was a short and simple move in terms of distance and possessions.The choices that they made in moving my things was inefficient and in the end, while I appreciate that none of my stuff was broken or stolen, I felt like I was taken advantage of. I won't be using Kary Movers again.

Did a large full day move and the experience was amazing! The movers were professional, and needed minimal direction/instruction which also means they’re fast. They had lots of extras like blankets in the back though we didn’t need them ourselves. All of our fragile boxes and glass cases made it in tact and I wasn’t nervous about how they were being handled. My best moving experience to date :)

seriously the best movers out there!!! They are punctual, reliable, quick and get the job done well. We recently hired them to move our furniture, and not a single damage was done to any of our furniture during the loading, ride and unloading. Super friendly and hard working as it ain't easy climbing stairs nor going down 'em, BUT these guys move so fast. I thoroughly recommend Kary Movers after my recent experience hiring them to move me from Richmond to Vancouver.The company was recommended to me by my new building manager due to other tenant's positive experiences. Monica responded promptly to my online request, John called to confirm the evening prior, James and Jay checked in early on move day with their arrival time. Kary advertise as being professional, efficient and reliable...all true but I add experienced, friendly, calm, organized, careful and hard working. Due to the very small single elevator in the building, James emptied the truck and Jay brought everything safely upstairs without incident. Thank you, gentlemen...my daughter has already decided to book you for her next move.

Both movers were nice guys, but took too many smoke breaks and took too long to move, shouldn't take 7 hours to move a 930sq condo. Also lost one of my boxes with 5 crystal vases and sentimental items from Italy, offered me 100$ to cover it. Find someone else to move you.

Hired this company after finding out about their BBB rating, was skeptical as I ve never used a moving company before. We had them booked and then we had problems and the move was delayed. They came in the afternoon after having completed a job in the morning to fit us in. We had James and Jim and they were superstars. They packed things sooo well and in great timing. They were careful and so kind and funny as well. They returned the next morning to help us load a storage locker and they got it all in the truck. Nothing broken although they have insurance but we didnt need it. They phoned and let us know time and expected arrivals and were accurate. So amazing!! Id strongly recommend this company, and we will be using them again and again. They knocked it out of the park being the first company we have ever used why look for something else when the first was the greatest. James and Jim feel like our family members now. Thank you for taking the stress out of the most stressful event in our lives!

Jim and Zach helped me move on one of the hottest days of the year from a condo to a townhouse. They treated all of my belongings with care , not one bit of damage to anything. They worked tirelessly in the heat with no complaint, and work so well together maneuvering difficult furniture ( the big heavy awkward stuff). I would not recommend this company if you care about your belongings. They moved my antique piano in the rain, uncovered, and wrecked the wood finish. The owner, John, would not own up to the fact that moving an instrument uncovered in the rain is a mistake, and was very rude in his dealings with us. Beware that his attitude is that if a piece of furniture has existing damage, they don't need to treat it carefully. Not worth the risk for a slightly cheaper rate.

Fantastic and efficient experience. The crew worked hard and were careful of our property. One thing I like about Kary Movers was that they provided a real estimate based on what we have - not just averages. In our case I provided a video walkthrough to John (owner). He provided quite a high quote (we have a lot of stuff) and agreed to review it after we moved things with friends. After our mini-move John revised the quote down significantly. Kary Movers were fair and responsive to our questions and needs.

We used Kary Movers for the first time to help move our family to our new home. Moving is never a fun time but Steven, John and Frank showed up with smiles and a positive attitude. They carefully and efficiently worked their way through the process of moving all of our belongings. What seemed like a daunting and back breaking task They got it done!!! We felt like we got the white glove treatment. We would without any hesitation recommend Steven, John and Frank. Kary Movers moved an 800 lb, 118 year old family piano for me from BC to AB for a great price and with great speed. The movers were polite and competent and on time. That’s important to me. Leading up to arrival, they kept in good contact with me to let me know their progress. I would definitely have this company move more items for me in the future. Our move took 9 and a half hours. Maybe not so crazy but what makes this move crazy is that it was a two bedroom apartment and a half of a storage locker to a huge four bedroom place and the distance between homes was 6 kilometers. The boxes were all clearly marked with where they should go and they were just scattered all over the house. Our walls were marked, gashed, and scratched. There were three guys doing the work. When I asked the one in charge whats taking so long he said that the hallway was long to the apartment and a lot of the things had to go to the second floor. I explained that the previous movers had moved us from a large place to the small place and then to the storage locker it took five hours. He then said he knows and understands my frustration and the main reason is he had a rookie working for him today and that's the reason for the delay. I feel like I shouldn't have to pay extra for something that wasn't my fault. The move cost $1,284 plus tax. Crazy! He did offer me no tax if I paid cash. The neighbors moved from a four bedroom to a four bedroom and it was 35 kilometers away and they took 7 hours. Besides all of that, the head guy was good and hustled.
