I booked a 6x12 trailer with ramp from Caraco Storage Solutions Kingston ON. The booking was made several weeks ago for Friday 11 Oct 2019. UHaul Call Centre called me Thursday and changed the rental location less than 24 hours before due to so-called "routine maintenance" on equipment in Kingston. As a result, I had to travel to Parker Street Rental in Belleville to pickup/return the trailer. I spent nearly 4 hours on the road and $50.00 in gas to make the two return trips. I am not a happy customer. My question - what is routine maintenance and why did it affect my rental in Kingston? An accident or breakdown of equipment is one thing. I can understand that. However, causing a return customer serious incovenience for "routine maintenance" is not an acceptable business practice. Hence, I will not be using Caraco Storage Solutions for any rentals in the future.

They have really bullshit policies surrounding exits. Charged me for a whole month despite the locker being wide open and totally moved out. Actively avoid these guys.

My girlfriend has a storage unit here, we discovered her lock was cut and replaced with a new lock.. 2 days later the new lock cut again! NOT COOL. They found the guy... he was an employee of caraco!! Be aware that you will have to check up on your locker often and keep an inventory of what is inside to be safe!

I have had great experiences with this place in the past but today was very different. I reserved a trailer as I always do, online. My sister needed a trailer to move from Ottawa to Kingston. I put the reservation under my boyfriends name and left my credit card information as well. This morning my boyfriend and sister arrive and they tell them "Sorry we do not have a trailer for you". They claimed to have given the trailer to someone else with the same last name. SO now my sister has to try and find another trailer last minute and there are no sizes that we need. I called to express my concern and the gentleman was quite rude and told me he "did not need to explain himself to me and to contact customer service if i have a problem". They should not have given away a trailer to someone with a different first name and different information then what was on file. I should be compensated for this and to be given the reason of "oh this can happen" is unacceptable. Nothing bad to say about Uhaul company themselves and I appreciate the help customer service provided me.

Dropped off our U-Haul at this location and chose this location based on previous positive reviews and they were not wrong. The gentleman (Ron...I believe) was very pleasant. Would recommend this location.

The staff are very friendly and the warehouse space is quite large. I've found pricing to be very reasonable and the facilities are climate controlled with 24 hour access.

I have been with Access Storage on and off for several years now. They have been absolutely wonderful with me. I have dealt mainly with Ron who always accommodates me and goes out of his way to help me. I find them very warm and friendly every time I go in to make my monthly payment. The place is nice and clean when ever I go in to my unit. Being able to go in 24/7 and climate controlled is what sold me on choosing Access. I would definitely recommend Access Storage to all my family and friends. Thanks Access for being there for me.
