Would NOT hire. A moving crew was EXTREMELY disrespectful and down right rude to several tenants in my building. I was personally yelled and screamed at for attempting to remove an out of service note clearly written on scrap paper for the only elevator and one worker grabbed my arm forcibly. Not recommended.

Their service was efficient and they easily arranged to pick up from both my storage locker and home. They also carefully wrapped our antique furniture. They provided packing materials including boxes for our TVs and wrapping for the mattress. The rate was reasonable and I am happy with the service.

My wife and I were subjected to a most vile berating by employees of this company. It was a most embarrassing situation where two men were using expletives towards my wife and in front of my children. My wife told them she would call the manager when she was being cursed and they said call as they did not care nor feared any consequences. The secretary heard these individuals cursing out my wife before she handed the phone to the manager. His primary action was to hold our things hostage in the moving truck until payment was secured under duress. The owner did ask his men to apologize at the time which one of two did halfheartedly. My wife would not and did not egg on two grown men by herself with a child by her side and furthermore she has confirmed weakness to both arms which means her muscles are slowly becoming useless.She cannot attack anybody muchless two grown men. When she called me, she was afraid and was considering calling the police because of the actions of these men. I had to drop what I was doing and rush home to try and secure my family from the ever-growing threat the movers posed. The manager’s response to my wife’s review acknowledged no wrongdoing but instead chose to fib and condone the misbehavior of his employees. No mention was made of a reprimand for the employees nor ensuring they get some customer service training. What happened will likely happen again with some unsuspecting client. They may very well attack some client in future with this behavior being condoned. I suspected your men acted the way they did because they knew you would back them with there being no repercussions whatsoever. Shame! They knew they would get away with it. Two men were sent for a job that should have at least been 3. They wanted to reschedule not because we were not ready, as we were indeed ready and stipulated clearly what needed to be moved, namely heavy items only. They recognized that it might have been too much for them so they contacted the office for another person but did not get anyone else. Your men were busted from the first house, took hours of cigarette breaks and spent hours fatigued on the ground. They complained the entire time that they could not manage, which was most unfortunate and costly for me. Eventually after pleading with headquarters help was sent. They were frustrated and took it out on the only person they saw at the time, my wife. Extremely unprofessional is an understatement. I have no reason to fabricate any details here as I am not employed by you, as your men are who fabricated my wife ‘egging on’ a situation which you swallowed. OF COURSE SHOWS POOR MANAGEMENT. I have nothing to gain and will share the truth. Oddly enough I chose the company based on the reviews it received. I hope I will be able to save someone else the lack of professionalism and absence of integrity that was on display the day I moved into my new home. They managed to ruin what was supposed to be a beautiful day. I just don’t understand how they went from 0 – 100 with no explanation. To put icing on the cake your worker slammed my front door on the way out. We also eventually had to contact the police. BEWARE!

Men doing the actual moving were competent. However, final charges were way over the estimate. Storage was obviously not secure. Ours was a small move so it was suggested that an inventory would not be necessary. Our office chair pad went 'missing' and there was no attempt to rectify the situation. For these two reasons I would definitely not recommend Riverbend.

We hired Riverbend to move our 2 bedroom apartment for an in city move. They showed up with 3 guys for the move. The guy that seemed to be in charge did a walk through of our apartment and like freaked out for some reason because the move may take longer than expected so he wouldn't get home early enough to go drink beer with his buddies or something. So then, moving being stressful enough already my wife starts crying and I'm trying to calm her down and we also had a newborn she's trying to looking after while this mover is freaking out. What a nightmare. So he called 3 more guys to come help with the move. So now we have 6 GUYS doing a 2 bedroom move. It ended up taking maybe 5 hours. They all took multiple smoke breaks during the move and stood around a lot. Charged us $1,200 +. They broke a bunch of our stuff including a couple invaluable sentimental pieces passed on through generations from my wife's family. We called and spoke to the manager or owner whoever he was. Some guy named Wayne and he just shrugged it off and said they aren't responsible for breaking our stuff. Thats the last time we use them. We are moving again shortly and there is no way in hell I'd ever hire these guys again.

Company manager told me that they would contact me the day the exact time of the move the day before, so I could notify the group home my sister's stuff would be moved from. That did not happen. I was notified by text (still sleeping) 8 am the day of, while the move was taking place. However the movers themselves were very nice.

Riverbend was amazing for our move this week. We moved from a 4 bedroom home to a 5 bedroom, 3 storey giant house. Chris did a detailed estimate that was accurate and timely. I got a call the day before to confirm the move time was still good and then moving day happened without a hitch. Ken, Russell and Juan were so fast, easygoing had fun but also took the job seriously. They mentored the younger mover and worked well as a team. We even made some last minute decisions as to what we needed moved and they were flexible and accommodating. Ken blew my mind when he made tape handles on a giant wardrobe box which probably weighed 80-100lbs and loaded it on his back like a Sherpa! Thank you so much to Ken, Russell and Juan for your hard work and making moving steel shelves look easy! I would highly recommend Riverbend for all your moving needs.

We had a great experience with Riverbend Movers as we relocated from Winnipeg to Toronto. The free in home estimate is a no brainer and we did not feel pressured to use their company to move even after they did the estimate. Shaun, Chris and our pick up and delivery crew (Mac, Nick, and Dave) were great! Our things picked up and delivered within the time frame given and nothing was broken. They used the utmost care in handling our belongings and used moving blankets for basically everything that was not in a box. Great service. A+

They have been excellent for four out of the five moving jobs they have done for us. They delivered a load of antique furniture to Kenoria for us and the job was done very well. The last job they did for us went a little off track. The two folks who were sent to move one fridge out of our basement and put the new one in it’s place must have had a bad day. It took them a hour to figure out how to remove our back door. Taking into consideration, this is a very professional moving company ,it should have taken 10 minutes not an hour. The bill was too high because of confusion on how to remove the door. However, that being said ,you cannot find a better moving company in Winnipeg than Riverbend ,just make sure you are home so you can move your door for them. ???? Jack Martin

We are really happy with their service. We moved from Winnipeg to Toronto and was unsure whether we should hire a mover or not. It was an impromptu decision from our side to hand over our stuffs to movers. We needed one immediately and Riverband was there for us. They were at the doorstep on a 2 hours notice. Not only that, we requested them to hold our stuffs in their storage for a week as our apartment was not fixed and they did that for us without any charge. There were some confusions raised regarding charge and delivery time, but the office (especially Sean and Christopher) was so cooperative and friendly, they clarified all the confusions and helped us going above and beyond. Excellent customer service. We just received our stuffs and everything is in good condition. It shows that they have handled the cartons with excellent care. I am not sure who are some of these lifeless people giving fake reviews to make people skeptical, but if you are considering moving, you can count on them with full trust. Worst company ever worked with. They did not provide me service and charged my credit card. Do not understand customer requirements at all. Very bad experience. I wish I never made booking with them. When call them they just want to charge you transfer line to front desk. They do not say anything later on start making excuses. I will never use this company again. Specifically dealing with Wayne is worst. Receptionist say we will refund money than Wayne says no. After that start transferring call between both of them. End of the day I did not received service nor did I got my $300 back. Never ever use them. They are the worst one.

I am looking for a mover and storage. I just happen to come across "Val's" bad review. Her review makes me want to check you out as I see she says you did give her many references, you kept the private clients private and if she was wanting a seniors discount,just ask. Her review didn't make sense and all that just based on a phone call that gave her all the info she wanted.

They tried to overcharge me by an hour and the movers were the slowest I have every experienced (and I have moved lots!) Would not recommend.

Be warned! Although they offer a free quote, it's over the phone. Wayne, the owner, quoted me a?half day after I told him we were moving from a two bedroom suite. Around 500 at the most. They came late with 2 workers and a small truck which they later changed to a bigger one. My wife and I had purchased 75 small and medium-sized boxes from uhaul. My largest item to be moved was a large IKEA wardrobe closet which when one of the workers saw it immediately started complaining that it was too large and they would have to disassemble it which would cost me more. This was after I had messaged them earlier in the week detailing the units dimensions. No problem was the response "we handle IKEA furniture all the time" right... They came with 2 dollies which they would load with 3 to 4 boxes and then take one box at a time to the service elevator. Anyway they came at 12:30 and left our new apartment at 7:30 with my IKEA wardrobe in pieces. (My wife and I ended up assembling it ourselves) and a bill over 1200 dollars! Forget about customer service. When I went to their office the next day to complain about my experience with them, Wayne blamed me for not giving him enough information saying they hated moving IKEA furniture because it's always breaking on them and then they have to pay insurance claims. After arguing with them he reduced the bill to 989 dollars. Bottom line. Don't trust this company's phone quotes. If you want to use them get them to come out to you place and give you a quote there. I would never recommend this company!

At first they seemed like a great group of guys, soon as we arrived at our new place they slowed right down. My husband and son had to show them how to load the elevator and they had to help so it didn't take all day to unload. They broke an heirloom bowl I received from my grandmother who passed away 15 years ago and when I let the management know they couldn't even be bothered to offer an apology. I'm giving one star simply because less isn't offered. We won't ever use this company again and we will steer anyone we know away from them as well. If you want to keep customers and get good reviews then you at the very least offer an apology.

If I ever move again (better not be for a long time) I will most definitely use Riverbend again. I was given an estimate over the phone based on what I said I had to move, and they nailed it within $ 20. They phoned the day before to confirm my booking. Then they phoned the morning of the booking to give a rough estimate as to the exact time they would be here. They arrived early which was even better. The 3 movers I had were very pleasant to deal with and worked hard despite the heat outside. All in all it was a great experience. Thanks Riverbend!!!

I would not recommend Riverbend moving to ANYONE. We hired them to move our belongings from our house in Winnipeg to an apartment building in downtown Toronto. Upon delivery in Toronto, it was discovered that a significant portion of our belongings were left behind in the Riverbend warehouse in Winnipeg. The items left behind seemed very random, with the end result being that, for example, we had only some pieces of the beds but not enough to assemble any of them, including the crib for our infant daughter. We were in touch with Wayne, the owner, many times over the next couple of weeks to figure out when the rest of our belongings would arrive, however he was spectacularly unhelpful. Wayne often said he would find more information and call us back, but almost never did. He also never seemed to have a clear idea of where the second shipment our belongings was. Originally we were told he expected them to arrive in Toronto 5 days after the original delivery, but it ended up being almost two weeks. The constant lack of information meant that we essentially waited day-by-day in Toronto for almost two extra weeks instead of taking some vacation time as planned. On top of this, many items were damaged during the move including furniture, a stained mattress, and other broken items. Considering we also hired them to pack everything up, this was extremely disappointing. The worst was probably the box that arrived still-damp in the second shipment, where the pillow inside the box had actually started to grow mold. Just a few of the photos are included below. When we filed a claim for compensation, Wayne didn’t take any responsibility himself and just passed us off to Great Canadian Van Lines to deal with. I’ve noticed the owner seems to often dispute customer's negative reviews in the comments, so I would just like say that we have photos and documents of all of this. In addition, I also have written correspondence from Great Canadian saying they have spoken to Riverbend and told them, “this is not how we do business.” Just because we were eventually compensated for the "errors" does not change the fact that I would not recommend this company to anyone.

When I called to complain the owner stated that the problem was my own!!! How the hell is it my problem when they moved my belongings??? NEVER USE THEM!!!

Called for quote; reception person outstanding. But sales person seemed off-hand; as we don't know this company, I asked for references and he proceeded to list all the BIG clients this company apparently has who he SAYS have given great reports and although I suggested this was what we would prefer, I got the impression these names should have been enough; maybe he thought our job wasn't big enough. Also, wasn't offered or told about Seniors' discount. We actually didn't see any reviews by these BIG clients online. So....presuming this company has enough business without ours, we have chosen another company 'referred' to us!

The worst moving company ever period! Owner sends to guys that dont know how to drive and show up an hour late with no moving equipment. One guy didnt speak English and the other claims to of had a sore arm and looks like he was just released from prison! Quoted for 4-5 hours and they took over 6 and were just taking advantage of my wife while i was at work i came home and unloaded the truck for them because they were so slow also very rude one of them came into my house without asking and used my bathroom and left a bad stink. This company should be shut down and the owner is a complete right off! I have contacted the better business bureau and will be taking further steps against this crooked company... STAY AWAY YOU WILL BE SORRY AND RIPPED OFF BY THESE BUNCH OF DEAD BEATS....

Top notch service, showed up right on time and completed my move much faster than expected! Took about 3 hours to load my mountain of furniture and they loaded it so carefully I was shocked they were able to fit it all in one trip. Didn't scratch any walls or break anything, would absolutely recommend this company to anyone!!!!

Had people deliver a bed an the first thing they said upon getting to the door was “I’m assuming you don’t own a broom or shovel…” as I had missed a small section on the walk, one of them did not have a mask on and they left dirty finger prints on our light walls up our stairs. Riverbend moved us last winter and we were very happy with their services. They were on time and moved everything from a house that I had lived in for forty years to another location. We had used these fellows in the past and they were very good , so when we needed to move and have our belongings stored for a 3 month period and then moved to our new home there were 3 boxes missing. When we contacted them they seemed to be not to concerned about this and we never heard back from them. My wife has some cookbooks among other things from her grandmother that are missing . I would have liked a little more concern on their part and also to be informed as to whether the boxes have been found . I would just tell people to count all the boxes and track all your belongings that are being moved

They also didn't provide access as I requested, although it was written on the invoice, and my brand new cutlery (18/10 hardness steel) is scratched. Hired Riverbend moving to move from one house to another just a few blocks away in the same small town outside of winnipeg. On the morning of the move they didnt show up, they showed up at my address but in winnipeg, about an hours drive away. Mistakes happen... So instead of starting at 9 they started closer to noon. We had already packed up the majority of the house but left the larger items for the movers, specifically a treadmill and stand up freezer in the basement. They showed up and said they dont disassemble treadmills and we should have been told that... we weren't. 3 guys at 145/h.... well 2 guys, 1 kid. I think 1 guy can turn an allen key. So after scrambling to take the treadmill apart they take the freezer over and have to take the door off the freezer to fit it into room. Not a big deal, this is not unexpected. The unexpected part was them refusing to put the door back on. The guy says "it's easy to put back on". Embarrassing customer service at best. I paid over $1000 for extra stress and still had to move half a treadmill and put my freezer door back on. I would recommend looking elsewhere for movers. In response to owner: Got a call the day before move and confirmed address. Never received any email regarding anything. That same treadmill will disassembled by another moving company and I reassembled it in basement. Literally a 15 min job. They also had 1 person assembling bed frames.

They arrived for pick up on time, were very polite and professional. I was phoned prior to arrival. They placed me as a priority on their list for moving although we did adjust times and dates for ease of comfort for both parties. If only I could give 0 stars. I hired Riverbend to move some larger woodworking equipment (home operation) on the basis that they a) claim to move pianos and b) vetted photos of my space, the access route and the weight/size of the tools before they accepted the job. They assured me on multiple occasions that they could handle the job. Day of, they failed to prep appropriately (no pallet jack, no piano slip), and had to go and get those before bringing my tools to my location. After getting the light weight stuff upstairs, the on site team lead decided they really needed four guys to do the job, not three, and that they'd reschedule for the following week. No contact from their office for the rest of the day. Next day I received a response to my email - "I just seen the pictures of the stairs. I don’t think that looks very safe." In response to my complaint that they took the job and charged me for extra employees I didn't need since they couldn't do the job: "As a consolation, we never charged you to move them up, we only charged for where the items are currently located." Oh! Thanks so much for charging me to not do the job you guaranteed you could do Riverbend! I am incredibly mollified, and subsequently happy with your service. /s I agree that it was unsafe. Having seen it all in person. That's not my issue. I'm not upset that they weren't able to continue the job. I'm upset that they took it at all, came unprepared, and didn't properly vet the requirements, despite my supplying them with everything they needed. The gall to complain that they had "just seen the pictures", when I had sent them prior to hiring them. Furthermore, the on site team lead blatantly lied when he said they were coming back, and also when he assured me that they could do it with four guys. Those were basically the last words he said to me before he left for the day, and I found out the following day that he told his supervisor "it's nearly impossible to get the pieces up the stair case." I trusted Riverbend to be professionals who could advise me on what they could/couldn't do before I hired them and they failed spectacularly.

My house moving was settled last month. Everything went well expect my bed was installed unproperly. the movers just simply placed four battens on the frame rather than nailling them. I guess they misplaced the screws and forgot them. This is fine and they could have told me this,but instead they told me everything was good and put the box and matress on the unstable frame so that I was unable to find the unnailed batten in the first place. I had to buy the same screws to fit the bed frame and intall by myself. This actually is not a big problem. but at least the movers should have told me the truth rather than telling me everthing is well installed and trying to cover it up, which makes me uncomfortable. There is no follow-up from the after sales service even if I reported this. Little bit disappointed.

Coel and Mack were awesome. I hired Ferguson Movers (Vancouver), who told me Great Canadian would carry out the move. I guess Great Canadian subs out to Riverbend. Ferguson did the quote and it came out to be a bit cheaper after weighing. They also offered all info as recommended by CAM. Anyway, from the day they picked up to the day they dropped off, the drivers were communicative. The windows of time they offered were fairly accurate, which is understandable because of traffic and other clients along the way. They were also clear about the terms (insurance, etc.) and walked me through the paperwork. Coel is funny, knowledgable, and fast at problem-solving. Mack is super kind. Both worked really fast but took care of themselves by taking much-needed breaks. I was happy to know they value their health and our belongings. I would be happy to hire them again.

Great company to deal with. When I requested a quote they responded in a timely manner and it was very accurate. We had two movers (Mac and Russell); they were both extremely friendly and hard working. Our apartment was down to only one elevator, and when the wait was long for it to arrive on our floor, Mack carried items down the stairs from the 4th floor. They were also very careful not to damage any of our items or the walls. I would definitely book with Riverbend in the future.

I booked a long distance move with Sean. Sean has horrendous communication with his clients. I was never contacted/notified when delivery dates were changed, where and when my things were and the fact that my stuff was still in Winnipeg when I had been in Nanaimo for a month. The delivery driver had told me about the delay of my couch when he finished unloading then first portion that actually made it(Feb 2), over a month after pickup(Dec 28). The couch arrived 8 days (Feb 13) after the guaranteed delivery date (Feb 4), that I was informed of on January 18th. During the month of January I had to make multiple attempts just to reach Sean, only to be gaslit by him and pushed to call others, such as dispatch at great Canadian van lines and the driver themself, to find out about where my stuff was. Sean never informed me, when I first booked, that they only had one truck coming from the east coast and they would be taking more than a month to deliver my things, I found this out when I called dispatch on January 24th. Had I known this information, I would've taken a U-Haul but of course the information wasn't given just so he could make the sale. Based off what I've read from other low reviews, they will attempt to turn the blame back on the customer rather than being accountable for their actions. If you're looking for a moving service that basically ghosts you once they have your things in their possession and gaslight you, Riverbend are your guys!

Asked for a quote and based their pricing over google map that the pick up and drop off area is accessible. Did not give any information if issues come that there will be additional charges. Come drop off time, charged me $377 additional fee because the trailer to be used to unload is a 75footer. The truck used to pick up was a 40 footer. Why would it be my problem changing your trucks during drop off time? Third party mover was involved - GCVL moving company. I tried to reach out to the Operations Manager, Sean about the issue by sending an email... no response. Ended up paying... just to have my things dropped off. Watch out for this company on hidden and surprise charges! Below response are all lies! No communication or explanation was given to me whatsoever! Unbelievable. I would never recommend using these guys! You guys sent me a photo of the delivering truck when you had my stuffs already been weigh scaled! You never told me you will be changing trucks all along from the start! If access is my sole responsibility, you should have advised me earlier that there are additional cost if you find that the access will not be accessible for a 75 ft trailer (which was supposed to be a 40 footer anyway)!! Now you are explaining on the review that everybody will see, why in the first place no one responded on my email when I ask as per my first review above then? Stop being defensive and washing hands. I won't waste my time anymore responding to this, I just hope someone reading this will think it over 20x before getting your services. There are tens or hundreds of movers out there. Your sorry was worth $377. Thank you! Also, you guys tried getting additional charges of $500 when I asked if I can expedite my shipment and have them arrive at my destination on Dec 29. I said too much and did not agree. Then you said, expect my things between Jan 2 to 9 then. Then here comes your driver calling me on the 27th and said they will deliver on 28th, Unfortunately I won't be in my destination until the 29th. You guys found a way to really hit me an extra charge! Another THANK YOU!

These guys came to my house USED PROFANIES TOWARDS ME IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN. Called my family dirty and nasty. THE OWNER KNOWS AND DID NOT CARE. Then held on our furniture and then almost tripled my bill SLAMMED OUR FRONT DOOR IN OUR FACES. DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. THIS BUSINESS SHOULD BE CLOSED. This is what happened in detail. I first had booked with two men and truck, but I decided to call around, so I called this company. The guy on the phone was knowledgeable and professional so I cancelled my appointment with the other company and decided to go with this one. THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. First when they arrived, they were okay asked us if we wanted to change the date because we still had a few things to do which we completed in 30 mins. We were moving just around corner, so we only needed help with the heavy things. They took 4hrs to pack half of our things while they took many smoking breaks. When they got the other home we were moving to, I had to pick up some things from the old home, so I told them to wait for 5 mins. When I arrived, I asked my child to run inside and quickly open the door because I am being charged by the hour. When I got inside the house, I heard the work men saying bad things about us outside and inside the home I am sure our new neighbors heard because they were talking so loudly. So, I said if you wanted a few boxes to be moved just ask us to and we would have just moved it, there is no need to behave like that. Instead they got mad started raising their voices calling saying our things are dirty and that we are nasty. Then the driver started using profanities towards me. At first, I told them I am going to call the office and that they are racist because they are being so rude unnecessarily, but instead they told me to call the office. While I was on the phone with office, the men could be heard in the background cursing loudly. They then put me on to the owner who did not care but just asked to speak to his staff. I notice the guys stopped working and told me to call the owner. After calling the owner I realized my goods were being held while the owner asked for my credit card to charge my card before the guys would continue working over the phone. I told him his guys were rude & racist and they owe me an apology and I am not using your business again. He said it does not matter but he will ask them to apologize he also said they are not racist because he hires every race. Only one guy apologized. After that one of the other guys continued to be extremely rude kept on referring to us being dirty and nasty. One of the other guys could not manage any more so my husband had to help until someone else arrived. 13 hrs. later after many breaks, owner told them to stop working for a while and one guy down. We a bill for almost $ 2000 for moving around the corner, A FIVE-MINUTE WALK. After that the guy explaining bill was very rude, argued with us, blamed us for everything and then SLAMMED OUR DOOR ALMOST BREAKING IT. NEVER AGAIN THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE CLOSED AND I WILL BE GOING TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU about this.

We cannot praise Riverbend enough for how great they did on our recent move! Wayne was always prompt with replying to emails, and the moving crew (Russell, Mitchell, and Daniel) were amazing! They made sure to protect any fragile items, moved quickly, and told some great jokes. He was a very friendly guy, thorough and gave suggestions about how to optimize our move, which would also end up saving us money. On top of all of that, the price was reasonable and the estimate was nearly exactly what was estimated. We used riverbend to do our move yesterday. When i booked i was told that they could do it in the morning but it would be a 3 man crew so a little more per hour. I was quoted a significantly less amount than i was charged but that isn't my biggest complaint... we were booked for 830-9 am start. At about 830 i got a call that they were on their way... then about 35 min later i got a call from the dispatcher shaun saying they took the wrong paperwork and would be about another hour but would be there by 1030 at the latest... 11 and no one came so i called and was told by the lady on the phone that shaun was in the warehouse and would call me in a couple minutes... waited for a call and 25 min later i called again... she said shaun was still in the warehouse but she would check with wayne, who i believe is the owner, so wayne comes on the phone says they are just running late and that shaun went for coffee but would call me when he got back... it was very odd that there was no accountability for the time we were wasting waiting... finally shawn called me and said the crew was leaving the warehouse in 5-10 minutes ... so we waited again... an hour later they showed up... a team of 2 not 3, both very nice and we started loading... one of them said to me that they came straight from their last job and didnt have tools which was fine because we had nothing they needed to disassemble... but clearly they didnt come from the warehouse... then once we were all loaded we all headed to the new place... but they had to stop at domo... i am guessing because they came straight from their last customers move, but this was time we were paying for. It was $723 but we were quoted 450-500... which i understand is just a quote... but they were 4 hours late getting there, wayne didnt seems bothered by any of it... and we were not offered any apology. Had we known we were getting an afternoon move i could have went to work in the morning (I work for WRHA and taking time off right now is a burden on everyone so yes that morning would have helped) and my husband could have taken our truck to the new place with the breakables we packed in it. Again, the 2 movers who came were nice and no complaints about them or their workmanship. I just find the lateness frustrating... and more so the lack of any apology. On a positive note, the 2 movers did a great job loading our stuff securely and nothing got damaged... it is kinda like tetris :) Good luck to anyone else moving during this crazy time :)

On the day of our move it appeared they had forgotten about us. We had to call a couple of times to verify that they were coming. Wayne right away got us an answer and the truck was dispatched after an hour of our initial call. One of our movers was NOT happy to be there and was pretty rude, he would not answer our questions or when we asked for something to be moved, he would roll his eyes. It almost felt like we were asking a friend for help and that friend was disgruntle to have to help... but then we remember that we paid for every minute of the move and gas, so I think service wise, we deserved someone more courteous. This company was highly recommended but I am not sure we would ever use them again.

The movers were on time, patient, everything was moved with zero damage, and the final bill ended up being below the original quote. bought appliances from canadian appliances ( another big mistake) . were being delivered by riverbend movers , they called earlier than scheduled I dropped everything to go meet them. when they got there I asked them to place the old ones just outside since house is only 600 sq ft and no room for 2 of each appliance they said 20 bucks each and had to prepay so while I was on phone to the store I was on hold which took to long and they left before was worked out .
