Do not use this company!!!! (Unless you just want to throw away money and do the job yourself anyway) I contacted Jeff in September to hire him for a move for today at 9 am. I booked and paid the deposit within a couple days of the initial contact. He texted me this morning at 7:50 am to let me know someone was sick and that he would have to do it in the afternoon. I texted immediately asking what time, with no response. I called every half hour for 4 hours and he did not answer. Finally at 2:30 I messaged and emailed him saying that he can give me my deposit back by 4 or I would make my complaints to the police fraud unit and also consumer protection. He IMMEDIATELY messaged back saying that he was just waiting to pick someone up and they would head over. I said I would rather just have the deposit and not deal with him. He then said he would send the deposit right away. I have not received anything. Still waiting Jeff.

The duo that came out this morning were amazing! They were proficient the job done. The called with updates, and took good care of our belongings. The worked quite quickly despite a heat warning! Will be recommending them to everyone!

I’ve used buffs moving a couple of times. They have Always been on time and his employees are great to deal with even when I add things to move. Jeff has always treated me fair with pricing and I’ll never move myself again. Hire the movers.. top notch ????????

Hire Buff Moving! They moved my upright piano for me and were awesome to deal with. The day of the move my girlfriend ended up having to go for a covid test and I had to ask them only a few hours before the move to reschedule me until after her results came in. Jeff was great to deal with and super courteous. The test hours came back the next morning (negative thankfully) and they were able to fit me in that same day! They had all the equipment, were super efficient and quick. They were also a better deal than a lot of the other companies I got quotes from. Totally recommended.

We just used Buff this week to move from Winnipeg to outside the city. The guys were absolutely fantastic, cannot stop telling everyone about how great our experience was with them. They arrived a few minutes early and were fully prepared with all necessary gear. They were very fast but beyond that they were extremely careful and respectful with all of our things and our house. They laid down mats to protect our floors and took special care around all walls. They were friendly and professional. Highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed with their service!

Just used them Feb 2021. I did quite a few comparisons. Found their ad originally on Kijiji. Ad said text for a quote, liked the approx estimate they give you based on a list you provide. Other companies also offer text quotes but on a Sunday these were the only guys to reply. Still waiting for the other 2 places for a reply. The quote based on my detailed list I text them was actually pretty accurate as I was very detailed on what was being moved and amount of items etc. Guys were working hard and quick didn't take any breaks. They were delayed due to a earlier move that had some issues and called me twice to update me to let me know what was going on always in communication gave me an approximate time to be here, they were on time, great price, great service took care of everything, really good guys will 100% use them again won't even bother looking anywhere else. I have moved a lot in the last 10 years and I can say these guys are legit, one of the best and like I said I wouldn't hesitate to even think about looking anywhere else and as long as the same owners same company, I have 100% faith in them. Thx guys!!

I've had a five star and a two star experience with this company. They can typically book you within a week so it's good for quick moves. It really depends on which movers you get on the day. My advice is to record all the timings (arrival, departure) and make them known to the movers at the time (text them for proof) so they charge you an amount in line with their rate.

I needed a mover with VERY short notice. It was a smallish job, and it seemed that nobody even wanted to return my calls. Jeff Watson came through and sent two of his men. We booked for a move in January 2022, paid him a deposit but this mover did not show on the day of the move. This led to us having to make last minute arrangements with another mover that costed us a lot more. What hurts more, Buff moving and Storage has refused to respond to our messages or refund our deposit. Very unprofessional! I guess we have been scammed. We will notify the fraud unit.
