My family had a washer and dryer delivered using AMJ Campbell after purchasing it at Best Buy. They showed up on time with the correct product. Other than that...it was not a good experience. They installed the washer and dryer were installed in what I would expect would be a reasonable time. After, they turned it on a looked things over before telling me everything is done and is in working order. I took a look and trusted this to be true. Roughly 3 weeks went by and we had a message on our new dryer saying that there was an air occlusion and to check the vent behind the dryer. I pulled the dryer out and found that the floor behind the washer and dryer had standing water and my baseboards (MDF) were completely swollen with water and stained. I immediately went to the storage room beneath my laundry room which was in the basement and found that water was soaked into my floorboards and actively dripping into the basement through existing plumbing spaces that were running up to the washer and dryer. Drips were ongoing as I evaluated what was going on. At this point, I pulled the washer out and noticed a trail of scale where the water had been dripping down and onto the floor every time we used the washer the previous weeks. I immediately went out and got a wrench to tighten what was obviously a water connection that wasn't appropriately installed. I called Best Buy who informed me to take pictures and a claim with them was started. Several days later (I forget exactly how many but guess 3-5), I received a call from Scott Finlay who was asking to come and evaluate the damage. Scott showed up and asked about the situation while taking pictures himself. His pictures were now at a time when I had stopped the dripping and cleaned up what I could. Watermarks were still available on all surfaces and the baseboards were still completely swollen beyond repair. He informed me that he would be sending everything in and that was about the end of it. He had no issues with my assumptions or claims and if he did he did not verbalize them to me. Now, weeks later, I get a letter saying the claim was denied. Reason giving was that they feel the damage was not done through negligence of the delivery team. In addition, they said that because I signed that a form stating that they didnt create any damage during delivery that it somehow absolves them of the leaks that happened as a result of their poor installation. In a nutshell, they are stating they had nothing to do with it. For this to be true, I guess I would have had to have wanted to take a completely damage-free laundry room and loosen the connection to flood it in hopes of getting a claim to return it back to the way it started. Does this make any sense? There is absolutely no denying that this was the result of poor installation but I guess they denied it anyways. I've now called AMJ twice since to discuss with no response so here we are. They finally called back and said that I then initialed that I would check the connections after the first wash. We did so and there was no notable water. This was not the result of a washer spraying all over. It was a slow drip that created damage over time. Lastly, the workers themselves were unprofessional in appearance and hygiene. I don't want to get too personal so will leave it at that. A very unforunate experience that I will now need to escalate through Best Buy or legal processes. I'd avoid AMJ Campbell Winnipeg at all costs.

I hate to leave a bad review as I was so thrilled to read the reviews and use this company. This was a horrible experience for us, considering we paid over 4000$ for a relatively small move as we had already packed up the majority of our house. We had AMJ come with packers on the 22nd. 2 people showed up instead of 3. They weren't able to complete the pack, therefore they came back on move day to complete. The moving truck showed up at the new location in the afternoon and they were apparently short 2 men. They did not place runners anywhere in our house even when I kindly asked and suggested they do on two occasions. One man said his shoes were clean, the other said he didn't want to injure himself as he wouldn't be covered. I'm not the confrontational type of person therefore I let it be. This is a brand new house and the runner on our wood stairs is a very light grey. The unpackers only showed up at 1:30pm the day following the move, again short staff. We had already unpacked all of the kitchen stuff among bedroom items. They damaged the wall at the old location. They moved our trampoline but would not put it back together (AMJ covered themselves here because they had initially said the movers would take a look and see if they felt comfortable moving it, but that if they did not they would not move it nor would they be responsible for it breaking- which they did break a piece-I felt if they took it down they should also put it back together-either way, just remember not to ask them to move a trampoline). They left many things behind at the old location, they had to go back more than once. They left patio furniture, a BBQ, all the halloween decorations in the garage, items in the kitchen and basement, .... They did not properly label our boxes when packing, even though I had labeled all the rooms with post its (names of bedrooms and offices, stuff for the basement,...). My husband and I were both in contact with AMJ throughout the move and although they were apologetic, I definitely felt as though they were rude and disrespectful. Scott, the owner, was twisting my words and saying I had initially said the movers were great and trying to make me feel as though I had changed my story. Like I said, I am not the confrontational type and in my first conversations with AMJ I was being as positive as I could be. I felt bad for the movers as they were nice people and they were working short staff. I let Scott know that they were nice and polite, but they weren't the most efficient. Later, when I was fed up, I told them the movers weren't the most competent and he lashed out at me saying I had said they were in my first phone call. (CONTINUED BELOW)

Moved from Manitoba to Ontario recently. One of the best movers I have ever seen right from loading to unloading very professional staff who did a great job. Special thanks to Pam who coordinated the process so smoothly when I had an issue where the delivery had to be actually delayed. She took care of it and assured me of the best. I contacted many movers in Winnipeg but none of them returned my calls. It was only AMJ that showed professionalism. I ordered 2 chairs from Wayfair and got the call from AMJ Campbell that they would be delivering them. They told me between 11:30-2:30 the next day. I called and asked if it was possible to have them come closer to 2:30 because that’s when I would be home from work. They very nicely explained it would be coming closer to 11:30. I asked if I could have them put on my back deck so they wouldn’t be sitting in the front for hours while I wasn’t home. They said yes. When I got home I found that my chairs were not only on my deck, but on the upper balcony area of my deck. This was on a day that the steep stairs were very icy. I was beyond impressed with this for several reasons. They didn’t NEED to carry them up for me. I feel like they were much less visible there and I greatly appreciated that. I was also able to move the very large heavy boxes inside the door by myself so I could begin assembly before end partner got home. This company exceeded my expectations!!

Must have had parents who actually taught them how do to things properly and not call a service to hook up the washer. Dropped a bit of water and wiped everything up. Used AMJ from Winnipeg to Toronto, most of the furniture arrives with scratches and dents. When the staff picks everything, they you that the packing is protected and that is going to arrived without damage because they’ve done it lots of time and know how to organize it in the vaults , but little do you see on how they put stuff inside the vaults. Looks like they forced stuff inside to make sure it fits, and if they ran out of covers they tell you that they’ll put it safe so it doesn’t need it, which is a complete lie. Now I’m with all damaged furniture. Waiting to see what AMJ says about it. The sales rep is fantastic though

The delivery guys were friendly and professional, and impressively brought my appliances all the way to the third floor. They hooked up the washing machine and gave me special instructions for the fridge to ensure that I wouldn’t have issues down the road. They even took my old appliance away. Much appreciated guys!

I wish I could agree with the positive reviews but our experience was anything but, and I agree with the customer who wrote that the measure of a business is how it solves problems. In this regard we give them a failing grade. A piece of furniture was left behind; it was ostensibly too heavy and large to be moved by the crew and there would be a more robust crew to pick it up the next day. That never happened and when I asked about it, I was asked...” had I called them the next day....” I ‘m guessing , to remind them.? Winter clothing was delivered 5 months late. Again, this was somehow attributed to us, a mistake in identifying the container. We had said there was a missing black suitcase, and since the clothing was in a box carton, that was the reason it had been lost. Numerous inquiries and appeals in the ensuing months yielded nothing, even though when the carton did arrive, after winter was over, it was clearly marked with our name and new address. The black suitcase, is still missing, containing among other things a collection of designer scarves. All responses from the company’s president’s spokesperson and the manager have been useless.

This is easily the worst moving company I’ve ever hired. I’ve hired moving companies 3 times previously in Winnipeg I can say unequivocally this is the worst moving experience I've every had. There are better, more professional and ironically less expensive options. My move was scheduled for midweek and after calling two other movers, it appeared Two Men and a Truck was the only company available at the time I needed. Their low end of the estimate provided to me had fallen in the same range as what I had paid previously for “Professional” movers. So I went ahead and booked them. When their truck arrives I realize quickly it’s three very young colleague aged kids. First red flag. This is the type of crew who you would have move you off a Craigslist add for a couple hundred dollars. NOT PROFESSIONAL MOVERS! They had very little skill or idea on how to properly load my items into their truck efficiently. What should have been a 90min load out ended up taking 2&1/2 hours. The last movers I hired which had MORE furniture to move only took 90min. Second issue, I informed them when booking that I needed a king size bed frame disassembled. This crew only showed up with a single flat head screwdriver. That’s it. So I went and got my tools (drill, wrench) so they could actually dissemble the bed frame. Third issue; informed this company when booking, and this crew several times face to face. Throw away two pieces of my sectional couch, but keep and load the Chase Lounge. I get downstairs and the chase is next to the dumpster Fourth issue; we arrive at the storage facility 15min away and we start unloading. It is now 3 hours into the move at this point, which should have easily only been two hours of work max. Open the back door and notice several items had fallen while in transport. Fifth issue; given the timeframe of how long this is taking I realize I need to physically help these three kids or the work simply will not get done in a reasonable amount of time. So I now am one of the movers carrying boxes and furniture and sweating my tail off in order to get the job done. Sixth issue; they have no idea how to load the items into my storage locker. It was literally as if they had never stacked items in a storage locker before. So I’m directing them where to position everything. Seventh issue; at the end of the move both a bookshelf and shoe rack were damaged beyond repair. Eighth issue; pay the bill and given how inefficient and inexperienced this crew was I hit the maximum end of the estimate provided. $900 for what should have been at max a $750 move based on what both other professional movers in Winnipeg had charged me in the past. Again for IDENTICAL moving conditions (same day of week, time of day, distance between start and end location, and for moving more items)! Ninth issue; I call this company very disappointed looking for an apology for the lack of professional staff on my job and to have my damaged items covered ($100 max). I’m transferred to literally the worst customer service person I’ve ever encountered named Taylor. This joker proceeds to immediately call my claims into question and argue with me about all 8 of the major issues I brought up. Telling me “they could have dissembled the bed frame, moved all the items, and stacked them in my storage locker without your help. It just would have taken them longer.” Right Taylor, I should have stood by and let your armature crew take even longer than they did and break even more of my items. When I told Taylor I would be contacting their parent franchisor company he laughed in my face and said no one will care. I own several properties inWINIPEG land and work with a lot of real estate agents. I’m now going to make it a point to tell everyone I know how terrible my experience was with this company and what horrible customer service they provided. I guarantee my detailed account of their terrible moving work will cost them more than what an apology and $50 in broken items would have cost them. Great job Taylor!

Tyler and Gary delivered a Best Buy fridge to us last Saturday. They were very professional and respectful of our home - they laid down mats from the front door all the way into the kitchen, protecting our hardwood floors. They took great care removing our old fridge, including removing the doors so that it fit through our narrow-ish doorways. They handled our new fridge with care as well, and worked very calmly together as a team. It was evident watching them that they were experienced and excellent at their work. This company delivers for Best Buy and when recently delivering a treadmill to my house, caused significant damages to the hardwood in my entry way and when they called to follow up on the concern their manager (Stephanie) was very rude and condescending and refused that the damage was caused by their company and insisted that my "husband" must have caused the damage. I stopped her there as I do not have a husband and didn't appreciate the assumption. I ensured her that neither me nor my 8 year old daughter could drag the 250lbs box, but she refused to discuss further.

We hired this company to move in the past year and are very unhappy with them. They did not deliver several expensive and/or sentimental items. They disassembled some furniture to make it easier to pack; they were supposed to reassemble the items but did not. They were supposed to return after the move to pick up their boxes, but did not. They were difficult to contact to discuss these issues. They lied about why items were not delivered, and gave no reason for not reassembling furniture. They refuse to reimburse us for missing items, and have not responded to our latest communication. We are currently pursuing the matter in small claims court. The people doing the actual moving are very nice. The company makes the movers pay for losses or damages to keep customers from making claims. A proper business would have insurance to cover losses rather than making the lowest paid and hardest working people do so. Do not hire this company.
