Fantastic experience with Two Small Men With Big Hearts, Kelowna. We had our things in 2 different locations - an apartment and a storage unit. We needed to merge our things, store it for a month, and then have it shipped long distance to Edmonton a month later. The 2 movers arrived precisely on time, packed and moved all our items big or small, as if it were their own. A month later, today, our items were delivered to our new location in Edmonton, literally to the minute they were on time and very communicative. Knowing "things always break in a move" I was prepared for an item or 2 to be damaged, scuff, broken, chipped. To my surprise, NOT a single item fit that description. 3 movers on the Edmonton side, lead by Lou, were friendly, efficient, and handled all items with care. Thank you to all from the Kelowna 2 person moving crew, to the long-distance haulers, to the 3 person moving crew in Edmonton. We had a great experience with this company from start to end. Deeply disappointed in the service. I booked a long haul move over a month in advance and even delayed my move to the day that seemed better for them. On the morning of, I was informed that they are in a different city moving someone else instead. They told me it would be a 5h delay. They ended up arriving 9h late! To top it off they also didn't properly wrap our furniture and damaged our stuff using the dolly. Totally unbelievable how much of a disaster the whole thing was.. don't use them if scheduling or having your furniture is a concern.

I called this company, and explained that I had to get my Mom's belongings out quickly, as she was being evicted from her apartment while she was in the hospital being treated for cancer - they were INCREDIBLY helpful. Donna rearranged schedules and found two hours for this move with one day notice!! The two guys that arrived were SANDY and JOEL... on time and worked quickly - and they were FANTASTIC. First time I've used a moving company so do not really have a comparison. Arrived within 30-45 minutes of the arranged time, quick tour of what was to go/not go. My extra asks were 2 boxes and 2 mattress bags ( about $20 per item) I was guesstimating 3 hours max load/unload with two people. My estimate was off by an hour plus flat rate travel time. However, there was some delay due to the larger unboxed items that I had pre-arranged. (I did not realize kitchen chairs would need to be boxed and I never thought to inquire as it was a short distance move) Overall positive experience, the contract was outlined well with office administrator and the mover reviewed before work started. Payment completed at finish.

I have had several bad experience with movers, but always good ones with TWO Small Men. this last move though I was super impressed. The move happened during the record heat days when nobody wanted to be working, yet Nate & Jesse cheerfully and so competently moved my stuff into the storage bin I had rented. In spite of them making the best use of every square inch there wasn’t enough room for everything. rather than just coming and telling me that they first looked for a solution to the problem and then told. What could have been really stressful for me ended up not a big deal. Thank you so much Nate & Jesse!

Our move from 1 office building to a neighbouring building went very well. The crew was great and efficient. The only thing that was a little frustrating was the fact that we had provided a lot of info, as well as photos before the move, and the supervisor of the moving crew didn't seem to have received that information.

On October 13th, Ben, Daryle and Riley arrived first thing in the morning as scheduled to assist me with my move. The moving job involved dropping off items at a second address and then carrying on to take the bulk of the items to a storage facility. Our moving job was underestimated because there was so much prep work for Ben, Daryle and Riley to do - packing TVs and framed pictures, shrink wrapping furniture, moving very expensive items and multiple large mirrors. They had to wrap everything because it was raining steadily and then unwrap it when they arrived at the storage facility. The move also involved moving furniture down very long hallways to the moving truck, working with a small elevator, and requiring the ability to pack both the truck and the storage unit like a precise jigsaw puzzle with everything having to fit tightly to reach maximum capacity. Ben and Daryle had to continue on the job for many more hours than participated without taking a break just to get the job done. They were offered bottled water and were too busy working to take the time to drink it. Their hard work and ability to stack things in a miraculous fashion at the storage facility saved me from having to rent an additional storage unit to accommodate all of my furniture and boxes. That alone is a great savings to me in addition to the extremely reasonable cost that was charged by Two Small Men With Big Hearts. Ben, Daryle and Riley were just above and beyond any movers I have seen before. It was like they were wrapping their own possessions. They took great pride in their work. My husband and I hired many numerous moving companies over the last four decades (moving every two years) and Ben, Daryle and Riley were just gems, the best I've ever seen, and I have seen plenty, including other companies that had terrible customer service, movers who broke items and did not reimburse, etc. Ben, Daryle and Riley worked non-stop. They were so professional, friendly, and very helpful and so supportive. I am an elderly woman who lost her husband recently and only had my two daughters to assist me with this big move. Having three strong capable men taking care of the heavy lifting and moving everything for us in such a professional and caring manner was a Godsend. I'm definitely going to be recommending Ben, Darryl and Riley and the moving company Two Small Men With Big Hearts to my family and friends. My daughter is so impressed that she has already decided that she will also be hiring Two Small Men With Big Hearts for her move from Kelowna to the West Coast at some point in the next few months, and will specifically requesting Ben for that move. Ben, Daryle and Riley were incredible representatives for Two Small Men With Big Hearts and they are to be commended for their perseverance, tenacity and work ethic in what turned out to be an extremely challenging move.

I used 2 Small Men with Big Hearts Moving in Kelowna on January 25th to move some furniture from a friend's house to my condo and Art and Logan who did my move definitely lived up to the name on the truck...they were outstanding!!! I was so impressed with how quickly they worked and making sure all of my items were wrapped and secured with blankets...very professional and courteous in dealing with me and my friends. At my condo unfortunately the couch couldn't quite fit in the elevator and Art and Logan didn't hesitate and carried it up 3 flights of stairs and I didn't hear one negative comment...just a great attitude. In conclusion, I would never hesitate to recommend 2 Small Men with Big Hearts moving company to anyone needing to make a move and in fact I already have to anyone I've spoken with since yesterday. We booked this company to move our furniture from Kelowna to Vernon. We received a call at 830am informing us that due to a worker injury, the crew would be late (they were supposed to arrive at 9:30am). No big deal; I called the dispatcher (Andrew) who told me that the crew would be coming out after the first delivery, with an ETA of 3-4 hours. I received a call from Andrew at 12:30pm informing us that the crew would be out within the hour. I called at 1:45pm as they had not shown up yet - no answer; so I left a message. I didn't receive a response but I called again at 2pm, and Andrew stated: "let me guess, they aren't there yet." At this point, we had been waiting around for ages and did not hear back from the company. My husband finally called the company and called them out for this. Andrew finally called him back and the crew finally showed up at 3:15pm. The crew was respectful enough, but we didn't appreciate the lack of communication and lack of caring that this company did. They continued to rudely string us along instead of being honest about when the crew would arrive. For the thousand bucks they billed us and stress this day cost us, renting a U-Haul would have been less stress, cheaper and quicker. I would suggest that anyone reading this would look elsewhere for moving assistance or consider doing it yourself.

Scumbags, at least the Edmonton branch, long story short, although they did not hold my belongings for ransom, they did bash up my landlords walls, promise to pay to fix it, and gave me a series of fake phone numbers to get ahold of their so called boss. Honestly, it wasn't Two small men, it was another moving company that they contracted to do the move for me, but still I booked it through two small men, and the guys they got me were awful. Never paid for the damage. I've also heard that they post fake good reviews for themselves to counter all the bad ones.

We had THREE men with big hearts come to unload our fully loaded, jam-packed c-can. Sadly for them, everything had to go up a fairly step, long stairwell into our rental unit. Our guys, Andrew, Kevin and Shaydon we exactly on time and eager to get to work. We had coffee, muffins, water and Gatorade ready for them but they weren't to be distracted. All three were cheerful, hard working and careful with our precious belongings, never complaining about the arduous hike up the stairs. Definitely a five star effort on their part and I happily endorse the company. We will ask for the same crew when we buy a house and move next year.

Called the 1800# asking for a quotation from Red Deer To Kelowna. Got transfered to short hauler. when they picked up the phone they were extremely rude, unprofessional, talking over myself when asking a question. They continued to ramble on about 13 days and 8 trucks etc etc. I had to jump in over them speaking and say i am a potental customer and i am just looking for a quote. They assumed i was someone who worked for the company. Completley rude, grumpy and constantly yelling to talk over the other person on the line. When they realized i was a potential customer their additude didnt change much after that. Gave them my details for small move from Red Deer AB to Kelowna BC she said she would get back to me. Regardless of them getting back to me, i dont feel comfortable booking with this company just from the interaction that has occured just by calling to get a quote.

This is the 3rd time we have used 2 small men to help with a move. This time was very last minute and they were easy to accommodate. From the first phone call, to allowing us to pick up paper and boxes to being here at exactly the time arranged it was perfect and no stress. These guys are pros, from the word go. This was not just a point a to b move. We had a window of opportunity where we had 45 minutes of empty halls, and they were organized and had the move so well planned all within the first 5 minute overview that it was a breeze. They also managed to accommodate my wishes by bringing certain pieces of furniture to one destination before delivering the remaining furniture to the final destination. Everything went off without a hitch, the guys were, upbeat, positive, friendly, social and very courteous. They were professional, obviously well experienced, motivated, have a great work ethic and sincerely genuine people. From our first phone call to book the appointment, to picking up paper and then boxes, and then more paper and then their follow up call the day prior, to the comforting hand shakes of the movers, it was all 5 stars. On a personal note, I was pretty stressed out over the move, but these guys that handled it, really handled my stress levels as well. They were truly awesome, they know what they are doing so to anyone who needs a great mover, let them do what they do so very well. And for your own piece of mind be happy and relax, stay out of their way, they got this.
