Chose to use the company after seeing their reviews on Google. Nol (the owner) was very quick to respond to my inquiries. The day of they showed up on time with plenty of people to help. The place was quickly packed up and moved with very little hassle. The team were all nice and professional. While some might bristle as it’s not a ‘corporate’ company I appreciate a small local business where the owner is right in there on moving day helping out. Nol moved me recently from Kelowna to Vancouver. He was very accomodating of my requests as I wasn’t home for pick up. He is very trustworthy and left my home scott free. He also delivered all of my stuff in a timely manner and braved through the Coquihalla and the ridiculous Vancouver traffic. All my items were in perfect shape upon delivery. This job was done very poorly to say the least as they did not know how to pack nor secure the load in the container. Nolan and his crew were absolutely on point today. I've hired them based on Google reviews, and the experience did not disappoint. After we exchanged a few emails, he booked us in after providing his rates. The day before he confirmed the appointment. On the day of the move, himself and his two helpers showed up on time ready to work. They moved all our possessions carefully and efficiently with great energy. Even though we had a number of stairs, they did not complain and got everything loaded up. At the arrival house, they unloaded everything very efficiently and with great care using blankets when needed and taking the doors off when necessary. Great work by the whole crew. And the charges were very reasonable and exactly what he quoted us based on time they spent onsite only. Thank you for your help!

The guys that came to move my family, were courteous and polite. The worked very hard and quickly. The only issue that I had with them was that the job needed to be done over three days. With more planning and organization, every thing could have been done in two trips and in one day. Just felt that they had over extended themselves too much and booked too many jobs on top of one another. All that said they did come in under the original quote cost, and like I said they were very friendly and professional. I would definitely refer them and use them again myself.

My family is new to Kelowna with little support to help us move. Nol and his crew did great work. They started right off the bat, he and his guys hustled the whole time and did NOT "run the clock" to make things take longer. (An issue I have seen in Construction jobs.) Items were properly arranged in the moving truck and space was used efficiently. As well, items were put where we asked in our new house with no fuss. Boxes were carefully handled and not dropped, nor were the walls scraped. When they had an issue with a massive oversized couch, we talked it over and came to a good solution quickly. 5/5 I have already recommended Nol and his team to family moving here.

Sending a huge THANK YOU to Nol and the team! A day before my move, the elevator in our building broke... I had a minor panic attack but thankfully it did not phase them one bit! Nol was able to bring in an extra person short notice to ensure it would still be a speedy move (did I mention I was on the top floor). They managed to get everything - including a giant couch - down the stairs and out in good condition and in record time. They had prompt, efficient service and I was happy with them for the most part. I found it strange they don't provide invoices. Anyway, I wasn't going to leave a review, but then they begged for one. They claim I had an issue with sneezing rather than not sanitizing or washing hands after. And it looks like they're anti-maskers to boot. See attached screenshots of our text. caveat emptor Edit: I gave constructive feedback. And in a nice way too. Then he blew up. So I posted it online. Looks like they don't even provide receipts ethier.

I had a last minute move from a house in Kelowna. I decided to put my belongings into container, since I didn't know exactly where I was going to settle. I found Nol online and decided to use his services to pack the container. When Nol arrived, he immediately knew that the container would not hold all of my belongings. He's got a great eye for determining how much space you'll need. I recommend that if you have questions about that type of thing, you call him before you book your container. It will likely save you money in the long run. Nol and his team packed the container, and then moved the remainder of my belongings into the garage. I hadn't planned on this, and needed more last minute help. Nol moved the remaining items three days later, and that went smoothly. My experience with Nol and his crew was great. They were on time, courteous and professional. If I need his services in the future, I won't hesitate to call him.

I contacted Nol and his team back in October for a November 29 move to a new rental home in Princeton to another home in Princeton on higher ground we paid a small deposit to hold our move. I had then started packing up what we didn’t need upstairs in the master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and my office. BUT 2weeks before we could move On Nov 14th the town and our home flooded 5ft into the basement where Our two kids rooms with a mini suite for our adult daughter and storage areas where. We were evacuated and not allowed inside until the house was inspected. After that was completed, during The next 2weeks we worked to get the water and everything out of the basement. Nol called me immediately once he heard about the devastation in Princeton. We confirmed we would still need help moving and we would talk a day or so later to make sure the hwy was open to get through. The salvage debris from the basement couldn’t be left outside when the volunteers helped empty everything so it needed to go back into the house but into the upstairs making it really messy to handle. And us unable to pack what wasn’t yet inside the house. Nils team moved it all as is to get us out ❤️When the hwy closed for a second flooding Nov 28th the night before the big move it had just opened early morning around 7am but by 8:30am there had been a car accident with fatalities so Nol and his team where stuck waiting in the line up 8kms a way. Nol communicated throughout the whole time.with me. They got to the old house by noon and worked til 5pm to get everything completed. Maneuvering our towns detours and high volume traffic from the coquihalla shut down was crazy too. BUT they did it! We are so happy with their hard work and service. Price is totally fair and with 3 of them here - 2 we’re moving stuff out and one inside the uhaul packing and arranging made it go by even faster. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family :) pictures are from the flooded house with salvage basement debris and the new house ???? we are unpacking and healing from our losses thanks Nol and team for being part of this new chapter for us we will never forget your kindness in our time of trauma we are so grateful ❤️????????

We hired Nol for our local move based solely on his reviews and, while his crew (Pete, Alex and Jane) were amazing and did a great job, our experience with Nol himself was unsatisfactory. During the loading of our container, Nol did not do a pre-load survey and so had no idea what the job would entail or plan for an efficient load. When questioned about a particular item being loaded in such a way that it would waste space and impede other large items fitting in, Nol laughed and said “I know best - I’ve been doing this for years”. In the end, the container was only filled to about 60% capacity as confirmed when it was picked up by Terry from Big Steel Box who remarked that it was “surprisingly light”. Ultimately, we had to rent a truck and storage locker to handle the items Nol could not fit in the container. Unlike other customer reviews that said he treated their furniture “like it was his own”, that was not our experience at all. Only a very few pieces of furniture were wrapped at all and none completely, resulting in several pieces of furniture being badly damaged, some beyond repair, and demonstrating very poor packing and loading technique. Upon unloading on 30 June, Nol and his two person crew took only 2 hours. When we discussed payment, we told him that, unlike the loading job 2.5 weeks earlier, for which he was paid within 24hrs, we were unlikely to be able to pay that day or possibly even the next as we had yet to set up our internet access. He replied that that was fine, adding that he’d be too busy the next day (Canada Day) to check anyway. On Canada Day, my wife received a text from Nol claiming that the amount he had stated that we owed for the previous day was too low as he had used an incorrect hourly rate. Upon reviewing our notes, we determined he was correct and so had no issue with the higher amount. He also said that the hourly rate is charged in four-hour blocks. This four hour minimum charge was new information that was never mentioned previously, nor did it appear on his website. So with no prior discussion, we suddenly owed twice the amount that we had agreed. He did however offer a $50 discount if we promised to write a good review. At around 9pm that evening, he texted again stating, “never heard back but hope to connect mon or tues then”, followed immediately by, “please do reply though monday so i dont have to chase” and “U said u would send sat is thing”. Insinuating that my wife was a liar and a cheat who is a risk for delinquent payment was simply too much after a couple of very long, stress-filled days and she freely admits that she responded brusquely. But she was then subjected to a series of texts from Nol that attacked her personally and were unprofessional in the extreme. The next day, when we had restored internet access, we paid the doubled fee as we simply weren’t interested in either prolonging communication or dealing with further harassment from him. In summary, Nol’s crew was great, however his lack of skill in packing/loading added considerable but needless additional expenses for a truck and storage locker rental, and furniture repair/replacement, as well as doubling the charge for unloading. But most egregious of all is his exceptionally unprofessional communications which were entirely unwarranted and insulting. We will never do business with Nol again.

My move took longer than I estimated (due to the amount of things that had to be moved) but the guys were very patient and just kept working. They didn't even take a lunch break. I've been meaning to write this for a bit of time now. We were given this number to get a quote for a move from Glenrosa to a storage facility in Kelowna back in September. After leaving a couple of messages we never heard back. National Storage had also given us a number for PackRat movers which they highly recommended. Packrat answered their phone and we were happy with the quote so we went with them. After reading other reviews on Google, and talking to our movers, and the people at Kelowna Self Storage it sounds like these reviews are exaggerated. This company will offer discounts to inflate their online ratings. So who knows with this place, they didn't impress us back in September.

They had to park the truck on top and hike everything down the driveway (which isn't paved)! I echo all the positive comments and will add I appreciate their willingness to adjust when the plan changed. I will.add everything was wrapped that needed to be wrapped, and they cared about how items would shift once in motion and packed accordingly. Fast too!

Nol and his crew were fantastic and did an excellent job. Put everything were it belongs and also dismantled and put furniture back together again. I would recommend this company. They arrived at the agreed tme. The only problem was I was quoted $90.00 per hour and the final cost for 2 hours was $360.00. When I questioned Nol he mentioned there is a 4 hours minimum but this was never mentioned in the e-mail. What he said was: " It is just 90 an hr tax included and with our typical block of time so nobody can book in place of you, even the bigger job requests."

N. Preen brought 3 other young men with him for our local move, which took 6 hours. They were all very competent and worked efficiently. They were courteous and friendly as well. We had a piano which needed special supplies to move safely and without damage. Everything was moved to the right spaces in our new home without any problems or damage. They provided me with an exact quote and there were no games. The movers showed up right on time and were SO pleasant. They went above and beyond to make sure they moved my items with care and put them in the correct rooms. DONT HIRE, TOTAL SCAMMER !! HORRIBLE ATTITUDE !! Emailed this character, and he states that they are NOT BONDED and have absolutely NO INSURANCE for his business, nor customers. When I asked him, he told me to go to the RCMP and get bonding insurance.....um, RCMP provide criminal record checks. An insurance agency provides bonding insurance, not the RCMP. He sees no reason to be insured, even when I asked him about it. What happens if an expensive piece gets broken? I asked him why he doesn't have insurances for his workers and customers, to which he replied, that this is the second time in going on 11 years he has ever been questioned about insurance coverages. He stated that he found my questioning insulting and then blocked my emails. Obviously a complete scammer, no insurance, and prices include taxes. Look out people, this public service announcement has be brought to you by another concerned consumer. i would not hire this company based on their failure to provide simple documentation for their potential customers, and horrible customer service even though I was only asking basic business questions.

The move was two parts, first to meet at a stogage locker to load a truck and bring the items to house, second part was to move a garage full of household items, furniture and boxes, into the house. On the day of the move, I got a call from Nol that there is no truck available for the move as the company has mixed up the moving date. With everything packed and new owners just a couple of hours away from occupying, I was stressed out. Nol and his crew still showed up and helped me move all my stuff out of the old house. We got hold of a vehicle and were able to move at the end of the day. I wanted to give a bad rating initially but the way the Nol and his team handled the situation and adjusted their services to suit my needs, I was forced to give a 4 star. The crew is professional, responsive, caring, and personable but the icing on the cake is the empathy they showed towards a customer in a situation. Hats off for courage to show up in a situation like that and still come out with a superb review. Highly recommended.
