I have used AMJ Campbell twice now, once to move my mom into her new community and once to move myself. In both cases, everything went very smooth. They wrap everything that’s not packed, they cover your floors with rolls as they come in to give clean pathways and the movers are quick and friendly. In both cases, we moved within Kelowna, but neither of them went more than 5 hours start to finish (I’ve seen smaller moves take twice as long). If you’re looking to make a move, locally or otherwise, I can’t say enough good things about every part of the process both times I’ve worked with AMJ. I hate moving so much, but they made it a much better experience for me.

What a great experience we have had so far with AMJ. Chuck and his team have gone over and above getting our furniture to our home. Our driveway is not for the faint of heart but Chuck doesn't hesitate and is able to get our furniture in its new home. Not everyone would go to these lengths. Love these guys.

Set a date, and picked up boxes for our pictures, mirrors, and stuff. This was great being able to pre pack. The quote was very competitive and the crew was very polite, on time, and worked hard. We had a 400 lb fish tank to be moved and it was put in the basement with no issues. The crew we had was very experienced and the move went smoothly. We still have a few boxes to unpack and they will come and pick them up. Great work boys!!

We all hear the stories about moving companies. After just being through two moves within two months with this company here are some things to watch out for. They were nice people sure, but when you go to make a claim...not so sure. 1) When they are loading your goods they are filling in an inventory sheet (city to city) assessing the condition of the item. Be sure YOU go over every single item to double check the codes (for damage) they have attached. If you don't agree, have them remove/change the code. They noted our leather sofa as scratched, dented, every code available. When we said something , they said, I'm sorry it was in terrible condition from origin. It had one mark on the front. Now it has many more. 2) They scratched our sideboard, it was not reparable. They want to give us $50 for an appearance cost. A what?? Keep bargaining. They do not have the last say, you do. 3) For local moves. Watch the time! They charge from when they leave the office to when they return. The start was a 20 minute trip but they arrived 45 minutes later. The end was a 25 min drive but they round up to the hour, 40 minutes. Hopefully this help you out!

We used AMJ for a provincial move 6 years ago, and again recently for a local move. The price for our move was competitive and the estimate was spot on, which we really appreciated. Wardrobe boxes were provided for free. They moved us out of a 4 bedroom house and into another 4 bedroom house in one day. That was tough on the men doing the move, and I’m not sure they expected such a long, hard day. One of the crew showed his fatigue, becoming a little careless with where boxes went, and setting them down heavily. Nonetheless, only 1 box was damaged. Overall, we were very happy with AMJ and would use them again.

Steep driveway did not allow trailer to park near our house (100' driveway) so they had to make multiple trips up and down with no complaints and great attitudes. Would recommend to anyone.

Matt and his team (Clint and Rocky) were super hard workers. They were prompt on arriving and were very friendly and courteous. They helped pack the bigger items and were so efficient. They all worked together amazingly. They came back the next day to unload and got the job done in great time. They even set up my tables and beds for me which was super helpful. Established dates of pick up and delivery ahead of time. Picked up on time. Loaded (not a big move) in 3 hours. Ensured we did a walk through to make sure nothing was left behind. Driver who picked up finalized the delivery date. Truck arrived at new location on time. Driver (not the same as pick up) began unloading and worked like a beaver getting things located even though up a flight of stairs. Two local guys arrived to help him after about 2 hours. Big contrast in their work effort compared with the driver. Driver worked at least 2X as hard as the local lads. Completed unloading in about 4 hours. Driver ensured we did a walk through to make sure everything was where we wanted it and that there was no obvious damage on items we did not pack. Definitely the smoothest move I have ever had.

We shopped around for our local move. John was the only mover that bothered to come to our home to give a quote. The company operates professionally and takes pride in their work. On moving day it was very cold and not ideal for moving. The crew were all very friendly and efficient. They worked at a very fast pace. All items taken apart and wrapped. Nothing broken and not a mark on either house. Don’t waste your time getting quotes. This is the mover to use

I moved from Osoyoos to Vancouver Island and the movers managed to lose a piece of furniture ( antique) an absolutely irreplaceable Russian base to a vintage tea set, the shelves to my deceased father night stand, and other items. The glass from a big picture was broken despite excessive bubble wrap, being in a picture frame moving box with many towels inside so there was no shifting. And finally a 3 inch piece came off at the base of my glass display cabinet. Not fixable. Claim form submitted AND NO ACTION TAKEN OR REIMBURSMENT. NOTHING.

I once reviewed this place a 1 star some 3 years ago, back in 2017, but they never did reply back and my review was very real as they did block an entire road in winter time 2017, my road, and I missed getting to work on time but lets let bygones be just that and will now make it a 3 star to not be such a horrible person to them. BUT get snow tires please come winter time for the driver's safety and truck's safety! And to not get stuck!

This was done on a timely basis. At the new location they worked hard and asked for instruction as to the placing of the furniture. Beds etc were assembled with care. Great experience with AMJ from my first request for an online estimate to the move day. Dawn was super helpful answering all my questions, and was always really prompt in replying. Matt and his crew were great. They arrived when expected, worked efficiently, were friendly, and were capable of finding ways to get furniture into and around some awkward spaces. When a sanitation driver was belligerent with Matt, Matt remained calm and was diplomatic. When I asked friends for recommendations for movers, I only got warnings about which companies not to use.
