Larry, Cynthia, Stan and Andrew. Thanks so much for the great service! Your company name is well deserved. You showed up on time and worked relentlessly until everything was in its place. This move presented some heavy lifting down a narrow flight of stairs but you made it seem easy. Everything was carefully set in place and not one thing was damaged. Nobody looks forward to moving day, but I wouldn't hesitate to use your service again and will definitely recommend The Honest Mover!!!

They moved us from Etobicoke to Port Hope and everything was great. Moved all of our stuff quickly and carefully and let us get started on unpacking way earlier than expected. The quoted price was very reasonable and they actually came in under budget! Very professional and very friendly, would strongly recommend to others.

Very bad service. Charged 4 times the amount they estimated. Also charged for fuel and the time they count to reach to their office after finish moving... very disappointing. Never ever go with them. No ethics and morality.

Just a bunch of crooks. Yellow page ad says no charge to come to you and yet that was a fee we had to pay. Also charge for fuel despite the ad we found saying they dont. Avoid these guys like they plague they are rip off artists. The dishonest movers.

This was the second time I have used the Honest Mover. If anything the service has gotten better. They were very friendly, professional and fast. We moved onto a new home with narrow staircase that are all dark hardwood, they took the time to cover up everything to neither the hardwood or the furniture would get damaged. They even managed to figure out how to get our sofa up the stairs. Great job with no complaints. I would definitely use them again.

I'm pretty sure this was the same ompany I booked on a weekend in 2014 around boxing day move. And we present booked them confirmed told her needed biggest truck and was a fairly big job. She said no need to come see .guys showed up said wrong size truck they brought and had to go get bigger one .they never returned and called office they gave us excuses and didn't find replacement. Reported to the BBB. Regardless to say left us stranded had to call emergency movers and had to pay double even though we didn't have the money .I would never recommend these crooks!

Larry and crew moved our stuff to a new house last week, and we were very happy with the service. They arrived right on time with the promised 3 guys. Walls, floors, doorways, railings, and furniture were well protected in both houses and furniture arrived / re-assembled where necessary without any issues. The time required and cost was within the estimate. I was especially happy they were able to move our cat pen, which other movers said no to doing. Although it was a pain getting out/in backyards, carrying over tall fences and a very tight fit into truck, I appreciated the can-do attitude.

We have moved many times, with various moving companies, and we have never had a more positive experience than we did with Larry and his team. To give you some perspective, they were referred by another (highly rated) moving company when they couldn't take the job because they don't move pianos. We have many antiques, and large (super heavy) furniture built for me by late father - sentimental pieces that I value - and within 5 minutes of watching these movers work I knew these pieces were in the best hands. Larry, Brian and Ryan were methodical in their approach: so careful, so thoughtful about how to extract our belongings, pack the truck, and move these massive pieces into place. Nothing was damaged. They were helpful, courteous and generous from beginning to end. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

These guys were GREAT! They took so much care to make sure our stuff was safe. They were get at communicating with us leading up to the move and on the day of the move. They were friendly and made me feel comfortable as I was alone with my daughter during most of the move. I would HIGHLY recommend!

We are a bit late with this review but wanted to make sure to thank The Honest Mover for making our move so smooth! They were highly recommended to us by a friend and they did not disappoint. Larry’s quote beat the other company we had talked to by $1600, and even after a super long day (7am to 8:30pm), he did not charge more. The new house came with a piano and some furniture that needed to be moved, and the crew did that for us as well. Larry and his guys were awesome, friendly and very hard workers. We would recommend Larry and The Honest Mover to anyone looking for a great moving company.

My mom wants to give a huge thanks to the entire team at The Honest Mover. The entire process from booking was well-organized. The final price was exactly as quoted. The we’re familiar with the apartment complex she was moving to from her home of many years. Stan, Eddie and Darren are a polite, friendly and extremely hard-working group of men. They handled everything with extreme care. They started at 8 am and had everything moved to my apartment by 1:30!! And worked in the snow. They covered all my carpets and flooring to protect them from the wet weather. They made my move stress free.I highly recommend The Honest Mover. Thank you so much guys!!!

If I could give ten stars I would. Larry and his crew are absolutely the best in the business. We moved from Oshawa to Gananoque, quite a long drive, and had two residences to empty plus a packed-full garage and a more than packed large storage shed. Larry and the guys started at 6 am sharp and didn't finish at Gananoque until 10 pm (then they had a 2 and a half hour drive back). Never once were any of them less than cheerful and totally nice. I felt bad because they never took a break, and went out several times to get coffee and donuts, Subway sandwiches, etc. for them. They ate them as they worked! Still didn't stop! And Larry, the boss, worked as hard as any of his guys. His price was really good, and beat any of the other quotes we'd gotten. His people were totally professional and careful with all of our stuff. Neither one of the residences was easy to get in or out of, there were outside stairs and rickety basement stairs, things like that. They didn't complain, make a big deal of it, or anything, just kept cheerfully going. Honestly, I felt like these guys were friends at the end of the day. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, and believe me, after using other movers in the past I wasn't expecting such a smooth and pleasant move. The reviewers on this page who have given bad reviews have to be either mistaken about who they used for a mover or worse, because there's no way they could be talking about The Honest Movers. Seriously, use this company. You will be so glad you did. Sandra

THE MOVING INDUSTRY HAS SUCH A BAD REPUTATION FOR FLEECING CUSTOMERS THAT IT IS A SCARY PROCESS CHOOSING ONE TO MOVE FAMILY POSSESSIONS. I HAD AT FIRST CONSIDERED ANOTHER COMPANY BUT HAD A VERY UNEASY FEELING ABOUT THEM. SO I CALLED "THE HONEST MOVER". WHAT A GREAT DECISION. LARRY, THE OWNER OPERATOR WROTE ON THE CONTRACT THAT HE WOULD REDUCE HIS PRICE IF THE JOB TOOK LESS TIME THAN ESTIMATED - AND HE DID! UNHEARD OF IN THIS INDUSTRY, I AM SURE. IT WAS A LONG DISTANCE DELIVERY WITH TWO DROP-OFF POINTS AND THE FAMILY AT BOTH ENDS OF THE JOB WERE DELIGHTED. YOU WILL NOT MAKE A MISTAKE BY HIRING THIS COMPANY WHOSE WORD IS THEIR BOND. My husband and I picked THE HONEST MOVER on the recommendation of a friend and we were sure not disappointed. Larry estimated our move and gave us a few pointers as to what we could do to prepare and we took his advice in every way because from that first contact we knew that he knew what he was doing. His wife Cynthia was also a pleasure to work with and her assurance was valuable. Larry and his two men were men that handled our contents with care. At our destination, one of the men found "a knob" on the ground and he looked at every piece of furniture until he found where it came from. There was not even a scratch on anything (and I am fussy). Their work ethic was #1, cost reasonable, sober and polite in every way. We both sing their praises.

Excellent experience with the Honest Mover. I was moving a condo and two storage units into a house. The job took longer than expected. The guys said that they would stay as long as they needed to get the job done. Great work ethic. Good trade practices (ie floor-mats, blankets, securing the load). And price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a moving company.

We were EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with the services provided to us by the Honest Mover (from Whitby) this past September. We used them for a 2-hour move of some goods into a storage unit, and they also handled our 9-hour major move between homes very adeptly. Cynthia scheduled our move and got back to us promptly with answers to any questions that we sent her way via voicemail or email. The moving teams worked at an awesome pace throughout. The week of June 7, 2021 Larry and his team completed my move. What was expected to be an easy, predictable move turned into something difficult due to breaking down furniture, volume of goods and issues with pick up at storage. I've relayed my experience to others and all have said I had a good moving company. In my words, I had an EXCELLENT team of dedicated individuals working to their breaking point to complete the task they committed to. If my budget allowed, I would have paid double what was charged. Through it all, Larry, kept sing and making jokes when in reality he should have screamed and cussed. We used The Honest Movers for a recent long haul move. These guys were GREAT. They covered all our floors and stairs with runners and some of the corners of the walls with blankets so there would be no damage. All of our furniture was covered with blankets when loading and took care of our belongings like they were their own. They arrived at our home at 7 am and would not have gotten back to Whitby until around 11 pm. The other 2 movers we got quotes from were over $5000.00. Larry and his team did the move for MUCH less. I highly recommend The Honest Movers. Thank you for all your hard work. It was very much appreciated.
