I'm not sure if they are any good at moving, but I had a meeting scheduled for noon and some guy calls at 12:05 saying he forgot about the meeting and he'll see me in half an hour. No thanks. If you can't make a simple appointment, I just can't trust that you are organized enough to run my move. They may be great movers, but I won't take the chance.

From the get go, I was impressed with this company. Perry came to the house to give us a quote and was extremely professional and very forthright about our move. We were relocating from Toronto to Picton and he advised us the move could not be done in one day. Others said it could be done. Thank heavens we listened to Perry. The price was not the lowest or the highest but we think it was very fair based on the quality of service. Perry warned me about the odds on my planters breaking in the move but not one was cracked. Punctual, efficient, pleasant....a very good decision to pick Greg & Sons Moving. We highly recommend them.

Greg & Sons came highly recommended by a close family friend. I had attempted to "shop around" to understand my options, but even from the initial touchpoint, all other moving companies paled in comparison to Greg & Sons. In fact, some moving companies never returned my calls or emails. Not Greg & Sons though, who were incredibly responsive. My experience started with Maureen at the office, who is so caring. She sent Perry to my home to develop a quote. He was beyond knowledgable, and made sure I understood fully the services we were purchasing. The move was completed by Greg himself, as well as Pat and Chris, all 3 ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience. Not only were they on-time, both at our start point in Toronto, and destination in Ottawa, but they were fast, and efficient, always operating with exceptional attention to detail and care for our belongings. For whatever move, big or small, far or near, I'd recommend Greg & Sons to anyone.

At first they seemed like a great service. But as the move went on...they became almost grumpy, in a hurry. They acted so impatient...I just disappeared and no longer bothered to assist them as to where things go. There was damage to furniture they must of known about...broken wheels on cabinets, LARGE scrapes on wood furniture and they charged a few thousand dollars to do the move. Other places were asking up to 50% less. But we read the reviews and believed them so we chose them. Oh well............can't win them all.

I found Greg and Sons movers online trough blogTO. They were listed in the top 10 movers for the GTA. Their pricing was strutted a little different from the rest of the movers but they have me a better sense of what I would be paying and instilled more confidence that that was an accurate quote. They not only showed up early but they were maddeningly efficient. They had everything picked up from two locations (Thornhill and downtown) and unloaded everything in to the new house by 2:30. They were the most pleasant and professional individuals I've worked with in a long time. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a move.

Can't say enough good things about this company. I am a Realtor in Markham, and regularly refer people to G&S. They are family run, provide an excellent service, and are quite competitive with their rates. I have also personally used them recently to move to a new home in Stouffville. Four men and a large truck arrived on time, and in less than 6 hours, they had me fully set up in my new home. Not one item was broken or scratched, not one break was taken by the workers, and this was in the middle of a hot summer day! Professional, courteous, punctual, polite. Everyone I have referred them to has nothing but good things to say as well. Whether it's a local move, cross-country or otherwise, G&S is the only call you should be making. We were extremely stressed during our closing process which occurred during the housing market change and were also very stressed at the prospect of having to move our 4-bedroom house from Newmarket to a smaller rental in Brampton. All of our stress melted away when we saw the crew in action and realized that this was the best service we ever invested in. Chris, Darren, James, and Pat arrived on time at 8am and proceeded to swiftly empty our house and load all items with care into the truck. Each piece of our furniture was treated like a baby and carefully wrapped in padding and securely stacked in the truck. Our house was left in perfect condition and these gentlemen were extremely efficient, conscientious, and professional. All items were promptly unloaded at our rental and put away according to our instructions. The crew eliminated all stress for us and finished hours earlier than we anticipated. All furniture arrived in perfect condition and no damage occurred to our house or our rental. We will be moving again next year when our new house is built and will most definitely be enlisting the services of Greg & Sons again. This team is worth every penny and made moving day easy. Greg and his team showed up right on time at 8am to start loading the truck, were incredibly polite, efficient and were done moving our 3 BDRM townhome by 1PM. The next day, they arrived at our new home in Ottawa right on time, and the move in was as seamless as the move out. I would highly recommended Greg and Sons as I could not have imagined it being any smoother!

I hired these movers to move my over crowded condo and they did an excellent job! They were well organized with loading my furniture and transporting it safely to my new place and once there they unloaded and had me direct them piece by piece as to where I wanted things to go and they obliged patiently and happily. They started at 10am and were done by 7pm. When they left I felt good because most of my things were exactly where I wanted them to be and I could relax. Excellent crew!

These guys were amazing! The entire team from Greg and Sons Movers & Storage were professional, friendly and so efficient. From the administrative end- Perry, Geri and Maureen took care of everything so that the day would run smooth. Our movers were Mike, Shane, Keith and Davlin. They are a great group of guys who actually enjoy their job! They took extra care with every single piece of our furniture-big and small. They were also very careful not to scratch our floors. After 27 years in our home, it was time to downsize to a condo. You can imagine all that we had accumulated in the meantime. Maureen set up everything and missed nothing. Kasaundra and Susan packed all of our fragile things in no time - an option I highly recommend - and our move crew did an awesome job packing and unpacking the truck on the big day. The office staff was great when we had our furniture stored and had to extend the storage more than once. On move in day, the truck went to the wrong address (similar sounding street name). They had to remove two doors in order to bring in some pieces, but left without putting the doors back on. My husband and I (in our 60s) and my daughter had to do it ourselves. I felt forgetting to do this was unprofessional.

Hello, I know I'm late with this as we moved last summer. I did want to write a small review to state how Greg & Sons Moving was very helpful. They were supposed to start about 8am but showed up about a half hour earlier. I was expecting to stand in the driveway waiting and waiting but that didn't happen! The move went very smoothly from a house to a condo. We finished very quickly, about 1pm - everything was done professionally. All 3 movers were very helpful & friendly. I have already referred this moving company to a friend as they were looking for a mover as well. Thanks again.

I hired Greg and Sons to move me out of my cottage in April and store my stuff for about four months until my new house is ready. A few days before the moving date, a huge late-winter storm pelted the cottage with freezing rain and dropped several inches of snow on the ground, leaving my very steep driveway almost inaccessible. Greg and Sons couldn't get their moving van up the driveway and we were unable to put into place anything that would make the driveway sufficiently accessible. So, without a word of complaint, Greg and Sons starting loading everything into their van, then drove the van down the drive and reloaded everything into their moving van, which they left parked at the base of the hill. They must have done this 10 or 12 times, meaning that the move took much more work and much more time than originally expected. Not only did Greg (and his son as well as another helper) not voice a word of complaint, they were cheerful and pleasant all through the long day. Best of all, they didn't charge me a penny above the original quote. Greg and Sons handled all my possessions with care, did a thorough inventory, took their time wrapping my artwork to ensure it was well protected, and did everything one could ask of a professional mover - all at a far move reasonable price than the other mover's estimate. I have nothing but good things to say about Greg and Sons. I would recommend them without hesitation and will definitely use them if I ever move again.
