We moved with Go Moving & Services 1 year ago and happily using them again at the end of October. Greg and his team treated every single peice of my furniture like it was a high valued antique and wrapped everything up and placed it so strategically in their truck! They were also so very kind and polite and professional. I couldn't imagine moving with any other company. The boys worked so hard and had amazing chemistry with one another that everything ran soo smoothly. I'm very impressed and will recommend them to anyone I know that is moving. GO Moving called 30 minutes before our scheduled time and asked if we could start early because they had just finished another job. So, they weren't late but I felt pressured to start moving before I was ready which made everything more stressful. It didn't help that they just walked in and starting grabbing things that weren't packed yet, without even asking. The movers were clearly already fatigued from another job and took double the time that was estimated to move our 2-bedroom apartment, so we paid over $800 for our move by the end, which was double our estimate/deposit. To be fair, they did warn us that it might take longer but it was pretty clear that they were worn out by the time they got to our move, their second one for that day. Towards the end, it started to drag. My two main complaints are that they were unprofessional and that they damaged FIVE of our furniture items (they compensated for two pieces that were damaged the worst and gave us $25 each but they literally ignored us when we asked for compensation for the other damaged items -- our bookcases are shredded on the bottoms as if they were dragged across pavement instead of being lifted -- I'm a bit shocked that a moving company would even do that). They were new prior to being moved. My desk chair was also damaged (a massive chunk was taken out of the arm). There was no respect for our stuff. When the move went past 8 pm and we asked them to try and keep the noise down to respect our neighbors, they continued to make loud, obnoxious noise as they were going in and out of the apartment building. They also left behind all of their garbage from lunch and breaks (food, drink, and cigarette containers) outside on the ground where we found it the next morning. That's pretty gross and about as disrespectful as you can get. Speaking of gross, they left a smear of blood on the entrance hall (I assume from a cut on someone's hand). Also, there were 3 chips (and a bunch of smudges) left on one wall of the hallway, as well as a massive chunk taken out of a corner of another wall, near the ceiling, all of which must have happened when they were bringing our stuff in, when they must have banged something against it. They didn't tell us about any of that damage, even thought they had to have known they did it. I regret not choosing another company. GO Moving seemed great at first when we booked them but they turned out to be a huge letdown.

There are no words. It was a rough period. I won’t bore you with the details. Greg, Danielle and the team rescued me. Rented a POD (don’t ever do that) and finding someone to professionally load it was impossible. The only two I found wanted twice their rates. They were fairly priced even though the markets are crazy. Efficient, on time, professional and hard working. I kept telling them to slow down because it was extremely hot, I think they went faster!! Took everything apart, put it back together. Zero marks or damage of any kind. I’ve had lots of experience with movers. This crew is simply the best! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and I will use them again. Bonnie

We hired Greg from Go Moving & Services for pre renovation demolition, removal to dump. They gutted a 24'x20' great room down to the studs, making two trips to the landfill with their large moving van. Very hard workers, very professional, left a clean palette for Reno's to begin. Price was very reasonable, quality people, quality work. I definitely recomend!

These guys are amazing! If you are looking for a moving company look no further. They took pride in moving our belongings. Even though the weather was super hot they had no complaints. There are times in life when the right people show up to help carry one’s burden. In the case of Greg and John, our move on Saturday was exactly that. Figuratively they helped carry our heavy hearts and literally they carried an impossibly heavy pull-out sleeper sofa! Calm, quiet, thoughtful, respectful, efficient, Greg and John went about packing the trailer to the very limit of its capacity. Absolutely genius in their ability to get everything in, wrapped, carefully protected, it was truly the most remarkable thing to watch. Due to the complexity of our cottage driveway (steep and narrow) we knew the truck and trailer would likely not go down to the cottage. Most items were put in our large garage at the top of the hill BUT with willingness and calm they actually carried 3 huge items (including that dang sofa!!!!!) from the top of our cottage laneway all the way down the driveway and put it IN the cottage!!!!! INCLUDING a massive antique dresser up NARROW and CRAMPED stairs. It has taken days for my sister, best friend and I to stop talking about it! Thank you Greg for your stories, your help, your calming presence. John Thank you for your light hearted cheer and willingness. We valued greatly the respect and way you communicated with each other during the moving of each piece. We will forever remember you both.

We used Greg and Go Moving Services last winter to move our family from Peterborough to Windsor. It was a big job requiring additional vehicles given the size of the house, garage, shed, etc. They arranged for extra transportation space and did a great job on both ends of the move.
