Door2 Door moved us from our 4 bedroom, 2 storey home to our 2 bedroom condo apartment. I had met the owner, Norton Lambersky before, through a realtor friend who highly recommended the company. The recommendation was excellent, and the reality was belter than we had ever expected. The crew arrived on time, were careful to keep the move clean, and efficient, with no time wasted. They did an excellent job moving us into the apartment. We needed to move over 100 boxes to a storage unit, but decided (wisely) that doing this up and down stairs from our basement would be ill advised, so we called them back and they made short work of this task as well. Moving is never easy to do - especially when downsizing - the preparation packing, and then unpacking are time consuming and exhausting. Door2Door took over the other hard parts - the move out and then move in a virtual walk in the park. We recommend them highly and when our daughter bought a house, we immediately advised her to use Door2Door, and as expected, they lived up to their excellent reputation.

When the time came to move one of the biggest decisions was who would handle my move. Norton and the crew from Door 2 Door Movers handled my move and I have to say it was a seamless experience. It was the first time that I met the crew and their leader, Norton. I was so impressed that I have recommended then more than a dozen times to my clients and all have been pleased, zero complaints and most said that the men were courteous and very hard working. I booked Door 2 Door for my mom's move. From day 1, they were incredibly helpful with tips on packing and preparing for the move, including a recommendation to a packing supply store that had everything we needed to get ready. We just completed our move Dec 1st, 2021 and the crew was FANTASTIC. Prompt arrival, respectful discussion about how the move would proceed, quickly assessed the apartment and dug right in. Alex, Ty and Justin were super friendly and positive and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with them throughout the entire move. After unloading at the new apartment, they proceeded to offer help getting furniture where it needed to be and helping with any heavy items before they left. They truly went above and beyond with both the labour and customer service aspects of this job. My mom had recently had surgery that prevented her from lifting and they were extremely aware and pro-active in helping a little bit more to ensure she wasn't stressed about one single thing. This really mattered to me (her daughter) to see that stress lifted after a long, exhausting month prepping for the move. I can not say enough great things about this company and , especially, this specific crew of workers. I recommend them to ANYONE that needs moving services!! Great job guys!! Thank you a million times over for making this move run so smoothly and with an upbeat, positive energy.

BEST MOVERS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I recently hired Door to Door movers to move us from Ajax to Bowmanville on June 26, 2021. This was probably the best decision we made. When I called Norton in March to book the movers, he came out to my home, had a look around to see how much stuff I had so that he could determine how much man power and trucks were needed. He told me then it would take about 4 guys and two trucks to move us. He gave me a contract with the information and did not take a deposit. He also took the time to sit with my husband and I and give us a guide on how to pack, where to buy packing materials and what to expect on the day of moving. I was already impressed that he took the time to come out 3 months ahead of our move and didn't require a deposit. Also, there was no hidden charges/fees, what he quoted me per hour for his team is what I paid and nothing outside of that. Norton + 4 of his employees showed up right at 9 am as agreed and finished our move at 8 pm. The team wrapped all of our big furniture and strategically packed the trucks so that all of our stuff would fit and we didn't need to make multiple trips to and from my new home. The moving team took such good care of our stuff and our home that we did not have any dents, scratches or broken items. They were extremely professional. My moving day went a lot better than I expected and that was thanks to Door to Door. They're the only movers I will use and recommend in the future. Their service was very impressive. Kaveena

Norton and his team: Tim, Sarah, Patrick, and Nick were great. They were professional and personable throughout the whole move. Norton's initial meeting really helped us understand the scope of the work involved and what we should do to prepare for moving day. (I should note that other companies we called did not give us this detail of service, which sold us on Norton's company). Come moving day, the team took the time to ensure that they were performing the job safely and carefully so not to damage any of our possessions. I was super impressed with how they packed our boxes and furniture into their trucks to ensure they would not move around. At the new house they worked efficiently to unload all the boxes and furniture from their trucks and paid close attention to which room each box needed to go to. Again, they were all very careful not to damage the walls of our new house or our possessions. Their fantastic work has made unpacking so much more easier for us. Norton even gave us a call afterwards to ensure everything was okay. A couple of minor hitches but overall quite satisfied with the service. One of the 3 guys had an injury and the guy they replaced him with was useless but the other 2 were hard working and didn't stop until the move was done. Would definitely use them again, I would just request a different guy than the replacement worker they sent . One thing that really impressed me was how well they shrink wrapped all my drawers and stuff so that doors and drawers weren't swinging around or dropping out. Overall 9/10. Special kudos is deserved for Sean who was by far the best mover I've dealt with.

One of the most stressful parts of a move is watching your property loaded into a truck and driven off into the horizon. We all have heard horror stories. It turns out that was the least stressful part. From the moment the Door 2 Door guys arrived their efficiency and humour put me at ease. They knew what I was going through. Highly recommended and will use them again. This past Tuesday on Oct 20, 2020, I had Door2Door move the contents from a condominium to a house. There was actually two stops. Once other stop where I dropped off a few items and then the final destination. They put carpet runners down on the floors even though I said they didn't have to. Two men did the job. I must say, they are extremely hard working, polite, very careful with my stuff and did not complain at all. The condo has rules on moving that do not make it easy for moving companies and Door2Door complied completely without hesitation. The destination has a curved stairway which is a bit difficult to maneuver carrying large objects, but these two men carried this very heavy furniture up these stairs and placed it where I asked them too. They took no breaks, just constant working. I cant thank them enough for doing such a great job.

I used Door to Door Movers last weekend after being reccomended them. The weather Saturday morning was quite rainy and due to the set up of my old residence it would not have been a good idea for us to do the move that day as my furniture could be damaged and the slippery conditions were not safe for the movers team. I explained that the next day was my last day to be out and I only had until 12pm. They provided me with an extra mover the next day to hurry along the process. The team was very friendly and professional ensuring that all my belongings were well taking care of and properly loaded and unloaded. They got me out of my old place well before 12pm. They dropped bedroom furniture off at my new residence and then helped unload and properly pack the rest at my storage unit. I was impressed with their professionalism. Door 2 Door Movers moves us in 2015! We had SO much stuff and it was a longer distance move. The movers showed up on time, totally prepared! The movers were smiling and happy and were able to take the stress away from us. They were awesome, even with kids in the mix and stops at a storage unit! All in all, the mover was over 12 hours long. Not once did they complain, or seem tired! We were so incredibly impressed with them! We recommend them to everyone!

We asked for this moving company since they had done such a great move with my senior parents. It had snowed the day before and therefore very wet they put carpets down to protector floors at both the place we were moving from and moving into. They were very respectful of our furniture. Paying extra attention to one piece of antique furniture we have. They made the move very easy, and took the major stress of the move away from us. They all where covid aware and respectful, wearing their masks the entire move. I doubt we'll be moving anytime soon in the near future, though if we did I'd ask these guys to move us again.

We used Door 2 Door Movers in both May 2021 and January 2022. Simple pricing strategy, the crew works 3 hours you pay for 3 hours, work 6 hours you pay for 6 hours. No guesstimates with add-ons and hidden costs like some other movers. Both crews worked very hard, no slacking to extend the hours. We are very happy with both moves and highly recommend Door 2 Door Movers.

Saturday was my second move with Door 2 Door Movers. I was given Alex & Joshua as my movers. It’s hard to describe how impressive these two men were. First the heat that day was brutal and yet they kept up a consistent pace, always mindful of the time. They were unfailingly cheerful, professional, polite & so hard working. They handled every single item with so much care (even the things that were obviously of low value.) Their experience really showed when moving items like a big screen TV and other delicate or extra heavy furniture. They had to contend with tiny, slow service elevators making their day even longer. Plus they easily handled some Superintendent drama with politeness & professionalism. The owner of Door 2 Door came on site to ensure all was running smoothly and that I was happy. Some might find their rates higher but in moving you get what you pay for. You get everything above plus a professionally marked truck, fully equipped with blankets and other features & clean cut, uniformed movers. The moving industry is full of horror stories and scams. Door 2 Door Movers moved me on Friday. I can’t say enough about how pleasant & courteous Norton & his crew were. They were professional & efficient & extremely careful when it came to taking out & bringing in bigger pieces of furniture to ensure no damage was done. The packing & unpacking of the truck was very organized & things were places in the proper places based on my instructions. Norton came to visit & see how things were going about half way through the move which was also appreciated. There were some issues taking apart some of the furniture due to damage done from a prior move but the crew were careful to ensure that once taken apart the furniture could be reassembled at the new house with no issues. They took the extra time to make it all happen smoothly. I would definitely use Door 2 Door Movers again & would recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work team & thank you for everything!

We used this company on July 30th, 2020 to move out of town. They arrived exactly when they told me they were going to arrive and there were 3 of them to help us with our move. All of them were extremely professional and took very good care to ensure that our items arrived at the new location in one piece. They actually handwrapped most of our large items for extra protection.This move started at 8:30 am and didn't end until 9:30 p.m. the same day and not once did any of them slow down or complain about having to work a 13 hr day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality movers at a reasonable price.
