We moved about one week ago with Gentle Giant in Seattle and had a fantastic (and we MOVED!) experience. Rik and his team were thoughtful, efficient and kind. I think the most important thing is that I felt like I could trust these guys with my stuff. There is not a scuff on a wall or our furniture. Highly recommend and would hire them again!

We had a great experience with Gentle Giant! After moving by ourselves several times, my husband and I finally decided to hire movers for our most recent move. Working with Gentle Giant turned out to be so easy and convenient! Three movers arrived at our old apartment with a truck at 8am, quickly and efficiently moved all our stuff into the truck, drove to the new place, and unloaded everything by noon! They brought packing materials to protect furniture and things we had hanging on the walls, so nothing was damaged in the move. My husband and I got to have a relaxed lunch at our new place, whereas in all our previous moves we still would have still been trying to pack out the old place while sweating and swearing and yelling! The three movers were all very polite and efficient.

I've used Gentle Giant twice now. The first time was to haul our super heavy outdoor sectional up onto the roof deck of our townhouse. The second time was to bring them back down when we moved. Both times, the Gentle Giant crew were very methodical and careful to wrap the furniture, strap it, and gently pull it up the side of the house. They didn't damage the house or the furniture, and solved a big problem and let us get on with enjoying our deck. I would use them again.

Highly recommend! We are so thankful for the amazing experience with Gentle Giant movers. Despite a snowy day, they arrived on time and quickly emptied our apartment. Gentle Giant was a great moving partner. They were sure to double check everything each step of the way, from determining how much assistance I would need with packing, parking, and important/fragile items. My apartment was located in the heart of Belltown (Seattle) and not easy for a moving truck, but the team made it work and I appreciated their care. Moving can be a high stress event and I am happy I chose someone to put my mind at ease.

Coordinators felt hard to get a hold of prior to the move, but a couple of days before and on moving day, everyone (especially the movers) were very clear, polite, responsive and quite helpful! Would definitely use their services again if another move is needed!

Great experience with these guys. I had them pack up two POD containers, and then a few weeks later they came back and unpacked them for me at a new home. The crew were really nice, nothing broke, no dings on the wall, and they disassembled and reassembled large items. I highly recommend them for your moving needs.

I've moved many times in the last 15 years, and I've used Gentle Giant repeatedly in cities across the country. Simply put, they are the best you're going to find. I've had to use other movers occasionally, and nobody else comes close to providing the quality of service with the level of courtesy and professionalism I've gotten from Giant Giant over and over again. They show up on time, are invariably thoughtful and responsive to requests and concerns, and get the job done quickly and efficiently. I never leave public reviews, but after helping me out for so many years in so many different cities, I just had to share how fantastic they've been.

I don’t know if there is a moving company anywhere that is better than Gentle Giant! We had to move all our belongings out of Seattle in the midst of the pandemic. Gentle Giant made it so easy for us. They handled every concern, brought me packing boxes, packed up anything I didn’t get around to. When they delivered to our new location they worked non stop and put everything where we wanted it even when we later changed our minds. All our belongings were well taken care of, wrapped and protected from damage. If you are looking for a great moving company with extremely reasonable rates, look no further. Gentle Giant is the Best!

I was pretty organized going in and they said that helped them move quickly...but honestly, they came in $100 under budget from what I'd anticipated. Highly recommend!

Once again, Gentle Giants came through for us. This is our fourth move with them and I highly recommend them. They are so careful and pack everything so securely. And they hustle. Many of them run back and forth to the truck to unload but then move gracefully and securely with our furniture. Super nice too!

Overall I am happy with my recent move. The service was great and the overall process was easy. But it ended up costing a fair amount more than I was quoted. Due to COVID I wasn't in my residences while they moved things, so they put smaller boxes and bagged items into their boxes which I was then charged for. They put lamps into their boxes which I specifically asked what to do with them prior to moving and was told leaving out was fine. But then the movers boxed them in their boxes which I had to pay extra for. If I had been able to be in my apartment I could have said something first and I don't think this would have been an issue. No one's fault that COVID led to a different moving experience than normal so again I am overall happy and grateful I had a safe moving experience during a global pandemic.

We have used Gentle Giant three times now to move. The last was during the WA state COVID-19 lock-down, and we were very worried about if we would still be able to move. Gentle Giant had a plan! They gave us very clear directions about safe distancing, and their policies for hand-washing. Besides that, they were as always very professional, friendly, and accommodating. They are efficient and hard working, and were careful with our belongings. Everyone I dealt with at their offices were responsive and always answered our questions. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially given the current difficult conditions we are all in. I will always call Gentle Giant for a move.
