Great communication scheduling, emailed information pertinent to everything needed to know for a good move, and a feature for notification of team tracking enroute for move morning, . The team was extremely helpful, courteous, and diligent in wrapping items to prevent damage, taking furniture apart and putting back together with care, moving through the home to avoid damaging walls etc. They were quick and careful, and exceeded my expectations. I was relieved they were patient and willing to move things around in the new place too which really helped. I would definitely recommend and use Does again - but hope I don't need to move again anytime soon!

My guys were amazing friendly professional and fun. Funny that I meant to call another company at first. So happy for that mess up. Price is amazing service is even better. I will highly recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks for all the hard work. Just had my stuff unloaded and all my screws are missing from my bed another frame is missing two wheels. They stacked my washer on top of my dryer. I had no clue how bad until it was unloaded. Just beware stuff will be damaged and destroyed. I spent over 1200 for this service and can't recommend after seeing i can't put my stuff together due to broken missing pieces.

Dose moving did a great job for us! We were just moving extra furniture from our house to a storage unit and did not want to pay the exorbitant prices we were being quoted from some other companies. Wow, Dose Moving is incredible. Marilee (the owner) answered the phone personally and was so patient and understanding with all of my questions. So we didn’t have just one move but two moves double the stress and Dose made it so much easier than we had expected! I have used those moving a couple times now… They are always punctual professional and fast. Some people have told me they feel they are expensive when just calling for quotes but in the long run they are not as there are no hidden costs whatsoever! Feb 17, 2021, 9am sharp. “Smooth move” Was not a joke. Brian, cole, and ricky came, they saw, they conquered. All the good stuff you hear about this company happened for me. I hired them for my local move from my house to a 3rd story apt with no elevators. They wrapped everything for safe keeping and were beyond efficient; not only at packing the truck but unloading it all as well. Just super legit. “‘Preshiate y’all”. They were able to accommodate us and sent us a verification text so we could be confident they would be there and that they had all the information correct. I had never been one to go with moving companies, mainly because anytime I called one, they wanted to charge an OUTRAGEOUS amount. Then my friend told me about Dose Moving and Storage. We talked to them and got a quote, which didn’t seem like much. On moving day, they showed up and IMMEDIATELY got to work! They were zooming in and out of our condo, putting things on the truck, and handling with care! They wrapped up things that were fragile to make sure they didn’t break, and hauled them away like it was nothing. They moved a 2 bed 2 bath condo with a full living room setup, an extra office setup, and a backyard setup to our new house 30 minutes away in 3 hours. The Dose team members were courteous and timely. However, they did not complete the job. It felt as though there were kind people here who were good workers, but did not know how to pack up a trailer for a big move correctly. This became obvious to me when at about half way through the job, the leader asked us what else was priority in the home to get into the truck. (We still had a good amount of items in our home at this stage). We replied that everything, obviously, in our home needed to be packed up to move. He said it would not fit. This was shocking as we measured, weighed and consulted with the trailer company on what size we would need. They said that's all they could do, and we would have to get another truck for the rest. Leaving our desks, bikes, grill, valuable music equipment, beds, mattresses, TV's on our curb. He then had us sign and the team left before the job was done. From there, my husband and I unpacked the entire trailer, and repacked it ourselves for 7 hours. When we assessed how the trailer had been packed up at that point, valuables were on the bottom of heavy items, and we even noticed items already damaged. The team did not pack up the trailer properly; the items did not even get to the top of the trailer. They maybe packed it up to shoulder height. The trailer needed to be packed tightly all the way to the top to avoid shifts and damage during a 2,000 move across state lines. They did not use the rope we provided them along the way, so items were shifting already. We provided wrap and blankets, which they did not use. During this, we noticed that they put empty crates and boxes in that could have been thrown away. Our headboard, kitchen table and some of my husband's valuable music equipment is damaged. But, most importantly, all of our items in our home fit in that trailer, and your team was very incorrect. The money I paid for this service is not worthy of the job done.

This review was from November, but Dose somehow managed to get Yelp to remove it. I don’t want others to experience what we did, so I’m posting it here. Looking for an incompetent company? You've found it! I reserved and confirmed my move on 9/28 and gave my credit card for a deposit. 2 weeks later, I emailed to confirm that the movers would wear masks, the owner confirmed they would. The morning of the move, they were scheduled to arrive between 8:30 - 9:00am. At 9:30 when no one had called or shown up, I called and no one answered. I left a message. I also replied to the email mentioned above. I received both a call back and email response saying they would be there any minute - the first lies. At 10, I called again. Marilee assured me they were on the way - another lie. Then she asked me again what my name was - which I had stated at the beginning of the call. She told me we weren't on the schedule and that I had cancelled on 10/16. Which was yet another lie. After at least 20 minutes of holding (because I didn't trust her to call me back) she came back on the line to tell me that she found another company to help me out. Help me out?!?! I contracted with Dose, not another company! Fortunately, this other company came through when Dose failed MISERABLY (Which Marilee seemed to think I should be thankful to her for.) Unfortunately, they had to fit me in to their already busy schedule and didn't start my move until 5pm - 8 hours after I had contracted Dose to handle my move. They didn't finish until 2am. The entire process was a freaking nightmare. So why so many positive Dose reviews? Perhaps it is because this has happened before and, as Marilee stated in her email to me, if I hadn't told her I was going to post reviews on social media regarding their incompetence she "...was going to offer to help pay for the move but since you plan on writing a bad review we wish you the best." I wouldn't have cared if they paid for the entire move. I don't want anyone else going through what we did. Positive reviews are earned, not bought. I called Dose Moving at the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Four men and two trucks showed up and made short work of our move. They were professional, courteous, and prompt. Horrible owners. As a realtor here in the Valley, this is not a company I will ever refer to my clients. The company verbally assaulted a client I referred to them, Unfortunately I was party to this conversation or I may not have believed it myself. The screaming and profanity used was completely one sided and the individual they were speaking to was not asking for money back, they were calling to find a resolution and get the move finished as the company arrived underprepared, without proper supplies and apparently staff. The client was kind to the movers, they provided drinks as well as pizza but when they called the company to figure out what the next steps were they were told they were “abusing the wife” and “bad mouthing employees”. The owner’s behavior is disgusting and hide behind “Trump 2020” as their excuse to treat people this way. To my fellow Realtors, do not refer to this company.

Then the day of the move Mitch and Steven showed up on time (early even!) and came completely prepared with equipment and materials to wrap the more fragile items. Nothing was damaged in the move. These six guys never stopped, did everything we asked, including taking apart a “U” shaped desk and put it back together at the new house. I've used many moving companies over the years, and have experienced everything from broken furniture to damaged flooring and banisters to the movers complaining about the move itself. Those experiences are behind me now; I am never using another moving company. I'll be a Dose customer for life! I cannot thank my moving team enough. Ricky, Jasper, and Alonzo were the absolute BEST. They were incredibly polite, and so professional. I've never had movers use "ma'am" so often before. Ricky was a new crew leader, but he didn't tell me until we were signing the paperwork after the move, and I never would have guessed! The guys walked my apartment and listened very carefully to what needed to be moved, and what needed to stay with my roommate's stuff. Everything was meticulously wrapped and packaged. Even my 75" TV, which I couldn't find a box for anywhere, made the trip in perfect condition. I don't know how they packed it, but there isn't a pixel out of place, and that's shocking to me after 30 minutes in the back of a truck of furniture! Did I mention Ricky, Jasper, and Alonzo were literally RUNNING to my apartment to bring more things to the truck? It was quite a long walk, but I expected walking! Nope. Not good enough for this crew. I don't know if they needed cardio alongside the weight lifting, but that's the impression I got. LOL. Overall, if you're looking for movers, you simply cannot go wrong here. And don't hesitate to ask for Ricky and his team; these guys were so respectful and really hustled. This was by far the easiest move I've ever had, and I will be referring Dose to any of my friends who move too! Hire these guys; you won't regret it!

Rates were very reasonable and there was an afternoon appointment available on the date that we wanted to move. The three gentlemen they sent were very nice and worked quickly and efficiently to get us into our new home. I’m rating 4/5 because the crew arrived nearly 3 hours after the scheduled time for reasons outside of their control but we were not told the crew would be late until our appointment time had come and gone. Overall I would recommend Dose Moving, especially if your moving dates are flexible enough to get a morning appointment.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. The front office folks, Marilee and I can't remember her husbands name, are nice, responsive, friendly and professional. A rare combination. The pricing is very simple, it's an hourly rate depending on how many people are packing, moving and how many trucks you are using (plus the cost of boxes which are quite reasonably priced). And what really makes this kind of pricing straight forward is the that the crew work, and I mean REALLY works, the whole time they are there on the clock. And the clock starts when they show up, not when they leave their business. And let's talk about the crews. They are amazing! First of all, they know each other and seem to enjoy helping each other. Dose doesn't use day labor, which is why their reviews are fairly consistent. You may notice the varying degrees of satisfaction (or horror) with other movers. That's because it all depends on who the movers are on a particular day. Dose hires folks, run background checks, doesn't allow them to smoke and so you have a crew showing up that you don't have to be afraid of, are friendly, and they are like Energizer Bunnies. They never stop. Not even for lunch. They are careful, quick, funny, strong and innovative. They got a desk up the stairs around a 90 degree landing and into the office. I thought we would have to buy a new desk, as by the measurements, there was no way it could have gotten up the stairs, But they did it. Oh, did I mention honest.... One guy found an envelope of cash in a drawer that they were packing and immediately handed it to the lady of the house. It could have gone into a pocket ands no one would have known. No muss, no fuss on the move. One incident with a washer and dryer putting scratches on a hardwood floor, but it's being taken care of. Things happen even in the best of circumstances. How a company deals with it is the measure. And as I said at the beginning, I'd give them 10 stars. 'Nuf said

We hired Dose Moving a little over a month ago for a local move and they were on time, professional, and overall excellent. We moved from a 3rd floor apartment to a house and had 2 guys moving everything. We used dose moving for packing up our place, putting it into storage and unpacking it for us. Although I was initially upset at first Basically they took longer than I expected through no fault of our own because they made sure everything was wrapped and taken care of. We didn't need anything wrapped, but I was working and did not tell them. I was very skeptical about hiring movers as I never done it, but after a recommendation, I decided to hired Dose to load up my house onto a truck I already rented. This morning, Kevin and Ahli showed up right on time to move my 3 level townhouse. I chose Dose Moving for my recent relocation based on google reviews. The owner came to my house to provide me with a quote; he was on time, professional and very nice. The day of my move, our crew showed up three hours early! I was thrilled about getting an early start ( and ultimately an early finish). The team was very mindful when carrying our belongings through our two story home- taking time to wrap each piece and not to hit walls. Upon leaving to the new home, the lead mover asked me to conduct a walk through, which I did. They left in the truck as I finished clean up. I departed 10 minutes after them only to nearly hit 4 bikes laid out in my driveway. They forgot the bikes and our extremely heavy bbq. I called the owner and she said she would reschedule transport of the missed items. Three days and an additional $150 (to an already expensive move) later, we have all of our belongings. This company is good, but I most certainly don't feel the extra charge was appropriate due to a mishap on their part.

I was referred to Dose by a gentleman who used to have a smaller moving company that went out of business. When I asked him who he would hire to move him, he said without a doubt Dose! I called on 9/28 to schedule a move 30 min away. I was given 2 options of 10/1 or 10/2 at 1pm I accepted the 10/2 move for 1pm In the contract they had a window of 11am to 3pm for arrival. However the appointment was scheduled for 1pm. At 12:50 I was called by the driver to be told they were running an hour late. Due to my work situation, this is cause for concern that I may not be able to get to work on time. I called the manager of the company to inquire of there was anything they could be done. Almost immediately on the phone this manager started screaming at me telling me I did not read the contract and that they have an arrival window from 11am to 3pm. I did in fact read the contract and I was aware of this. However with a company rated as highly as this one, I (clearly incorrectly) assumed the agreed upon 1pm would be honored. She called me the 'worst person on the world' and was screaming and running her mouth at me the whole time, interrupting me and refusing to let me speak. She threatened to cancel my appointment multiple times and was just unprofessional. I never raised my voice or said anything offensive to her I was just trying to understand why they were running late when we scheduled for 1:00 p.m. I informed her I had taken off my morning shift because I was aware they could be there as soon as 11am and that I didn't take off my evening shift because the move was scheduled for the afternoon and that I was frustrated that I was told one time but they were coming a different time. I told her I still wanted them to come. I was so offended and dumbstruck as to what just occurred that I came here to write a one star review of that manager. Before I was even able to finish this post a different person from the company called and said because they saw my one star review they're canceling my move. I have no idea what is happening or where my deposit is, but I can assure you that any company that cares more about it's Google reviews than making an unfortunate situation better for the people they claim to serve is not worth supporting. Edit: in reply to Dose's comment here I was not belligerent to anyone, and never even raised my voice when speaking to the manager on the phone. I also have no idea what they mean about 'Sent Syncrozation' This is my only review with my name and picture. I stand by my previous statement and see others have had similar experiences too.
