I know everyone has a horror story when it comes to movers in Denver, but I have to admit my experience with ABC Movers Denver was very positive. Firstly, they were the same price if not cheaper than other moving companies I received quotes from. They called 3 days before my move date to confirm the date and time and faxed the certificate of insurance to my building management well in advance. Then they showed up on time and moved all my furniture without damaging anything. They also sent a team of 3 guys, all professional who carried some pretty heavy furniture and did the job well. I really recommend ABC Movers Denver if you want a moving company that will get the job done.

We moved here from the Pacific Northwest with a full truck. The movers arrived quickly and got everything unloaded and brought up to our third floor apartment quickly and efficiently! I think we were even their second move for the day, as our time slot was for the afternoon, and they worked very hard to get our unloading done very fast. They were polite and our move cost exactly as much as we were quoted. Highly recommend!

Not sure why I never wrote a review for them but they moved me into my 2 bed and they were fantastic. Movers arrived early, helped me finish packing something, wrapped all my fragile and expensive items and had me completely moved in under 4 hours. Granted my new place was only 5 miles from my old place but still I had a lot of stuff and they even help put together some things for me.

Unfortunately, a horrible experience with these guys. First off, not all of them spoke English, maybe even only one, so it made communication with them very difficult. Telling them what we wanted or what we needed to do seemed to fall on deaf ears unfortunately, if you want to call it that since it was obviously unable to communicate with them. Second, we were not supposed to be charged for an hour of service as their truck had died when trying to move to our moving location and they had to have their manager come and jump it. They charged us for that time and we forgot to bring it up with all the chaos of the move. When we got to our destination, we specifically told them that we wanted coolers to be placed in the kitchen as they had food in them. Most of them made it, but one ended up in the back of a room behind a ton of boxes. By the time I was able to locate this cooler, the food had gone bad in it, once again, lack to being able to communicate with all but one mover. When they had finally finished moving, they were writing up the bill, and once again, no credit for the hour the truck was down, they asked how much we wanted to tip. Well, when we told them how much we wanted to tip, they laughed at us and said that most people give us $50 each! I actually had to negotiate the tip with these people which is absolutely ridiculous. Instead of just saying forget it, you don't want what we are giving you, you get nothing, I actually went through the negotiating process with them which was totally stupid and, after what I had found, they should have gotten absolutely nothing, especially charging us for the hour they were down. We did find some damaged items and had to file a claim. They low balled us with the amount that they wanted to give us and had to point some things out in order to get it a little higher. Still wasn't compensated for the hour down time that they had and we had damage to our bed, a chair, a dressed, in which we were told sorry, we don't cover fiberboard items. Here's an idea, don't stack heavy items on top of it if it's a question. This is a company that looks like a hit and miss for people, some have good experiences, some have terrible experience, unfortunately, we were one of the terrible experiences where I would never in any way recommend these people. This was my third time using Denver Professional Movers and they did a wonderful job yet again. In our latest move we had a lot more stuff and several pieces of furniture that I was worried could get damaged but the team was very careful both with our furniture and making sure not to mark the walls because we were moving out of a house with two very narrow staircases. I couldn't find a single mark on the walls in either house after the move and they did the move all within 3 hours so we were very happy with the move!

I've never had movers roll out runner size pads to protect the floors, but that was the first thing they did. Guys work quickly and diligently the entire time. These guys lived up to their name. Very professional and I continue to be impressed with how they handled my move. When I moved to Denver, I used another local "small move" company to take my stuff from storage to my apt and while they were sufficient, they were nowhere near the quality of these guys. They wrapped my belongings and strapped them to keep them sturdy, got the job done with great speed (almost half the time), and did an overall great job repacking my belongings back into storage all while never needing any real directions to get to the storage location. My first review but well deserved. If you want great customer service, then you should call this moving company. I probably wasn't the easiest customer to deal with but they made sure I was completely satisfied. It's true what others said... the movers do show up on the dot, they are all extremely friendly and polite, but most importantly, they care that you have a good experience. They also have no hidden fees, so I would recommend them.

I don’t plan to move again for a long time but when I do it will be with Denver Professional Movers. They showed up on time, walked through the house, gave me an estimated time, went over the contract, and then started working. I was amazed how quickly they moved through the house. They packed the truck perfectly, arrived at the new house quickly, and then asked me about where to put every piece as they unloaded the truck. They were polite and professional and the move came in at 1.5 hours under the estimate. Absolutely awesome. Made what would have been a very stressful day totally stress free. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. One of the worst moves and customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The movers shattered my plasma flat screen tv that costs around $700 and are refusing to pay for damages. Originally they said they could only cover $20 of damages and now will only pay $150 for a tv that costs almost 4 times that amount. They also broke my dresser and customer service was rude before the move even started. Seriously so disappointed that a company can be this unethical, disrespectful and allows for fraudulent concealment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Telling all my friends, family and organizations. Please for the love of all your belonging do not whatsoever use this company. I am seriously blown away.

We also received a confirmation of the order and a reminder of the moving date. On moving day, the movers arrived on time and ready to work. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! Prior to moving day, I confirmed the cost of the move with the gentleman who helped me make the reservation. The original quote for a move from a 2 bedroom apt to a house was for 3 hours with three men for $136 (cash price). In disbelief, I asked him to clarify the price. He said it would be $136 for 3 hours and 3 movers and that after 3 hours, it would move to an hourly rate. You'll imagine my shock when the mover asked for $510 cash. No where during the quote did this gentleman say that it was $136/hr. Our move was about 0.7 mi across Stapleton. The movers were aware that we would literally be moving blocks down the road and still took about 2.5 hrs to put plastic wrap around every item of furniture we own. Despite the wrapping and blankets (and all the time they took to do it), we still had damage to our bedroom set. One of the gentleman that moved us was pleasant, the other 2 didn't say 1 word to us. I would think twice before using this service. Shady business. UPDATE: regarding the response from the owner (more than 3 years after our move), this probably also represents a lack of documentation of your previous moves.
