We are having our floors refinished and needed to move all furniture and belongings into the garage. Initially two people came out but they realize they needed more help so two additional people joined them. They were all very professional, friendly and careful. Despite being paid by the hour they worked very expeditiously. Definitely recommend them and when the floors are finished we will use them again to return items back into the house. It was a hot day and they worked tirelessly, sometimes rearranging things to make them fit. Miguel was so accommodating and courteous throughout. Customer Service is absolutely terrible. The guys are great, the Management is the problem. Beware they will over charge you without disclosing the charges prior to the service. If you choose to use them, add $300 extra to whatever they tell you the quote will be. Then you won’t feel taken advantage of. Alex is on a fast track to losing customers and major clients that refer All My Sons. I’d suggest he think about his actions and words before expressing them.

All my sons are amazing. The first time I used them, they helped me box, move and store the contents of my 3,500 home in record time. They were friendly, fast and professional. I was impressed how they moved my solid bronze, life size woman table and it’s 1.5 inch glass top as if it weighed nothing. Normally it takes 5-6 men to move the table, they did it with only four. They also used proper body mechanics, which is very important to me being an retired nurse and a mother, which makes me the biggest worry wort around. I’m disabled and unable to do much. I needed help with several things. I needed an entertainment center and two nightstands picked up. I needed some furniture moved and required help putting together some other furniture I had gotten. Finally I had various items to take to storage. I immediately thought of them. They were quick and efficient and kept track of time when I wasn’t, saving me money. All of you were great. An employee (from Portland office) refused to wear a mask in the building, said COVID isn't real. When told to wear it due to legal requirements, he said "you can't tell me what to do." He then took off running, leaving his co-workers behind. I called the Portland office to make a complaint and asked what their plan was to correct the issue. She said "he is told to wear a mask." I asked if that was it because he was already told this and blatantly disregarded it. She then said, "I don't have to tell you how I handle my business." If you don't want covid... Don't use them. They don't care about your health or life. Horrific.

The initial contact, account management and customer service (Tony) team are very polite and responsive. They listened and took care of us very well. The actual crew were exceptional - they are professional, polite, efficient, and conciencious. The only reason why I don't give 5 star is because of the experience with Alex (assuming another customer rep or some sort) who is extremely rude, unreasonable, and unprofessional. It was so unfortunate since we have had such a great experience with them till the last day.

Do not use this company. They called us two hours before they were supposed to move us today and said that they were not coming because they had workers out because of Covid. Covid has been going on for over a year. With 26 moving vans and crews, they are still moving other people today, but not us. I work full time and took the time off work specifically for the move today, we broke down all of our beds and have everything packed in plastic totes. When we called to try and find another place to help us move. We were told this is a common occurrence with this company. We have them a $100 deposit which they have yet to refund.

They showed up in the middle of the window we were given, packed up a lot of stuff for us, moved all of it onto the truck including three over-sized and breakable items, and unpacked it in our new home/storage unit with zero damage and within our two hour reservation. Marcos and his team were friendly and professional the entire time, they are who I would request if I called for another move. This took a lot of stress off our family, and I'm very grateful for all they did for us. Thank you for such a great experience!

Can I leave a 0 star? In no way would I EVER recommend this company. Unless of course you want to deal with a mover canceling your scheduled move 1 hour prior to showing up. This happened. Boxes were packed, notice given, day taken off work, kids with a sitter, arrangements made and they decided to cancel and ask if I was “flexible.” With what? My move out date? No apologies or return calls. Two guys happened to show up later (very nice) but paperwork was wrong, 5 hours later then the planned move and after I already hired separate company and paying a reservation fee since I was completely stuck. I had hired All My Sons for a temp move, storage, and then into final home. Both times, paperwork listed fees for more movers than what showed up. I was also charged an additional storage fee well after items removed from storage. Can I also mention extremely rude office clerks, managers that don’t return phone calls, incorrect charges, and the list goes on. To this date (3 weeks later) they have not responded to my emails or phone calls. Company has also closed comments on social media accounts, posted email address is inactive and unable to contact corporate offices.

Had a burst pipe and much of the plumbing on that level of my old house needed to be replaced quickly. Julio Chacon and crew came out there next day and quickly cleared out the rooms and took our items to storage so that the plumbing work could commence. Respectful and professional. I would definitely hire them again.

At the time he was doing this work, he also was training a new employee that started the same day as my move. The training he provided to the new employee was with dignity and respect. Although things started out a bit rough with out move being canceled and then pushed back hours the next day, once Matt and Stetson arrived they jumped right to work. They have positive attitudes, were very delicate with our things and treated them with care, checked in throughout the whole move. These two were a powerhouse team even though it was a late night move, they worked as if it was the first move of their day. I believe management could communicate a bit better, especially since we took a Friday off to move and got canceled, but Matt and Stetson are truly the saving graces for the face of this company.

I’ve recommended these guys to family and friends after they totally nailed my move in the Portland area. Local move, and I have a ton of heavy furniture, art, and electronics. Their team was well organized, on time and great communication before and after moving day. No damage which I was honestly pleasantly shocked at given how many things I had - I always seemed to knick something myself while moving using a Uhaul or SUV - SO glad I’ve upgraded to a Professional moving service. Leave it to the pros.

I used them to pack and move me out of my apartment and into storage for a later move out of town. - I was supposed to have 3 movers, ended up with only 2 which took much longer to pack my stuff and move me out - they lost my inventory sheet. The new one they created missed a few items, resulting in last minute charges from the movers who took my stuff out of storage. - they didn't respond to email. When I was told I'd get a call back, I never received one. They only took action when I called them - I'm still missing a box and a stepladder. They said they don't have them, but given the other troubles I had with my move, who knows? Sure maybe they're great if you're just moving across town, but I wouldn't use them for anything like I did.

Thank you Andres!!!!!!! He and his team showed up promptly at the time they told us they’d be there. They even called about 20 minutes prior to give us an ETA. From the moment they arrived they were in full work mode. And for the 4.75 hours it took them to move our items from one place to the next they were beasts the whole time!! The only break they took was on the drive over to the new spot which was only about 10 minutes. There were a few items that needed to be boxed (TV’s, large mirror) and they did a great job. They wrapped plastic around all of our furniture to ensure items didn’t get damaged in the move. I’m sure this is standard but they came in and knew exactly what they were doing. Andres did such a great job executing his team efficiently it was very much appreciated. They were professional, nice and respectful of us and our items. At the end he reviewed our charges, answered our questions and took payment- it was all so easy and smooth. It was our first time using a moving company and it won’t be our last!! The price is a bit high but it the end it was worth it!

Horrible experience. The crew called us 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive on the day of our move and cancelled. We had previously confirmed with them twice before the scheduled date, but we were informed that their crew "all called out". This left us scrambling to rent a U-Haul and move everything ourselves, resulting in one of the most stressful days of our lives. All My Sons left us completely high and dry... really screwed us over.

Was able to book super last minute (day of) with All My Sons. Everyone we spoke to were incredibly helpful and professional. Brennen and Jordan arrived on time and were very patient with us as we worked with our building management getting keys everything else squared away. Brennen and Jordan unloaded our uhaul quickly and efficiently. They helped us put our table and bed back together and were very friendly and professional. During the move, Brennen D. called to check in and see if we needed any other assistance, which was amazing. All My Sons made our move seamless and easy. Cannot recommend them enough!

When I called the customer care to talk about what the manager informed us, they said "I can not do anything, he is the boss". Totally irresponsible responses everytime. I was moving less then 10 miles. I need the heavy stuff moved I was moving all the boxes and small stuff. First they showed up I tried to explain to the the person when I hired them it was going to be big stuff. One of the person they sent couldn’t care my stuff. They broke or bent things and never said a word. During the move the one took a metal fire pit off the dolly and was going to slide it across my brand new floors and I had to say you are not sliding that across there. Then they hit the walls in going up the stairs scuffs on the walls this is a brand new house. Dented dishwasher floors. Call office twice no help. Then when the bill came they took a hour lunch and try to charge me half hour of that lunch. I paid for 3 mover felt like I only had 2 working worst mistake I ever made hiring these guys.

Professional, excellent service, perfect move. I hired All My Sons for a move in state. My experience was top notch from the initial phone call, to the actual move day. The team was professional, friendly, careful, efficient, highly respectful. At one point I remember commenting that I felt bad they had to haul a very heavy awkward couch up some stairs in my new house. The comment back was “ that is what we are here for”, this was all done with weather that was extremely hot. It is hard to choose a moving company, not knowing how they will handle your furniture or how they will treat you or your home, but I would recommend All My Sons over any other company I have used in the area. What an amazing job this company has done with training and maintaining such a high level of service !!!

The movers were supposed to arrive between 8am and 9am. Then after 12pm. It’s 2pm and no movers in sight. We have an elderly person in our household who needs to be in a bed tonight. I was freaking out about moving. Boxes were everywhere, my son and I were stressed to the max, and we were tired already from going up and down two flights of stairs at our apartment. The guys came by and started whisking boxes out. Our stress went away. Then they asked about the bed. I panicked again realizing I hadn't even thought about that. They said no problem and they took the bed apart and finished off the last bit of packing I hadn't thought of. They brought everything to the house, put the bed together without missing any pieces, and made the process a painless as possible. I saved at least a months worth of rent from the time it would have taken me to do this. They were great.

I used All My Sons Moving in December of 2020 for my 2 bedroom apartment. While the movers themselves were good, the company is not upfront about their pricing and in the end, I had over $250 in hidden charges I was not made aware of initially. The move took over 5 and a half hours with 3 movers moving a 2 bedroom apartment which totaled to about $1200. The reason I think this company is deceptive in their pricing is because at the end of the move, I was charged a “material’s fee” of over $250. They charged me for moving blankets that were used to wrap my tv, etc even though I was not able to keep the blankets. What’s most ridiculous is that I was charged for 17 rolls of plastic wrap that I was unaware I was being charged for. They wrapped things like pillows where if I knew I was being charged for them, I would’ve just thrown the pillows in a trash bag. This “materials fee” was not explained to me upfront which is why I’m upset. I tipped the guys $30 each for their hard work. This review was asked for by Brett Scott.

Chris and his team were amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better team of movers. They were not only incredibly fast, they also took amazing care of all our items! They were way faster than I ever imagined 3 people could be but they managed to move us from a 3 bed 2 bath apartment into a home in about 2 hours!! Had scheduled my move a month in advance. Received confirmation of my move on the 23rd with the move set 4 days after, giving us a move in window from noon until 5pm. ( a little wide but fine) at 2 pm on our moving day, we received a call from their office canceling the move day of with no warning. A friend recently had the same experience and we thought it would be different for us but it was not. Now we're scrambling to get a uhaul to move the items that were too big for us to move ourselves. Thanks All my son's, I guess you need some more sons to do any sort of work. If I could give negative stars I would. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

I moved 6 blocks in Sept 2020 in Salem and then another 7 blocks again December 1, 2020, bought and sold houses, had a baby etc. The overpriced service from All my Sons for the move in September 2020 was great so I hired All My Sons a second time for the move on December 1, 2020. Unlike the first time three young guys showed up, they were different from the first crew but I thought I’d get them coffee, give them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully it would workout. Unfortunately it did not, I am still finding things they broke (glass lids to pots, wine glasses, my adjustable bed, etc.). I am also constantly reminded of their poor service as I see the slice they made in my couch as they removed the packing tape, the plaster patch they made without being asked to cover the hole they made in the wall, and the door they did not reinstall properly after removing it from the hinge. Did I mention this is a NEW house. I’ve calmed down from when this first happened, but would not recommend this company. I also tried to talk to a supervisor about these issues who told me they had the best staff who would never do such things and that I could file a claim that would likely not go anywhere. Very disappointing.

The assistant manager would not give a reason why they couldn’t make it to our appointment. I recently had the misfortune of using All My Sons, and they were as unprofessional and ineffective as the other critical reviews of their services mention. For my recent move, I had multiple instances of last minute notifications from the coordinator, a very poor recommendation for what type of service to get, and a moving crew that was simply subpar (didn't execute some basic requests, seemed frankly disinterested in providing service of value, took a whole bag of masks and a roll of tape I offered after they forgot some in their truck, and didn't wash hands after using the bathroom). I simply wouldn't recommend them if at all possible. In my instance, if I wasn't constrained by time due to extenuating circumstances, I would've definitely taken more time to research better moving options. If there is any silver lining to this experience, I now know not to ever use All My Sons again.

I have to admit this move was extremely bad. I’ve used you guys before to move into 2 different places prior to this latest move. My move was originally slated for Friday from 12-5 PM arrival window. Team never contacted me during this day until 6:45 PM and asked if I wanted to work through the night to get moved. My building had reserved my elevators from 12-5pm. I declined and asked to be first move on Saturday. Saturday comes and the team couldn’t find parking- hours passed with nothing happening but my timer had started at 9:30. One team member stayed in the apartment and wrapped a stool for 30 minutes. I was wondering where the others were and went looking for them. I find them chatting outside and not actively moving my stuff out. I have a 700 sq ft apartment, not a lot of stuff. It took them from 9:30 am to 3pm to move everything into my new place about 12 minutes away. I ended up paying 1100 dollars for this move that was quoted to not even take 2 hours. It’s absolutely unacceptable. I could’ve moved this myself in 2 hours - but I thought I was saving stress and time doing it this way. Need to make this right, this cannot be how you want to present your business.

I’m not usually one to write reviews but I have never been so frustrated with a company. We scheduled a move with All My Son’s moving and they didn’t show up today. The company didn’t attempt to reach out to tell us there would be a delay or anything. When I asked to reschedule they said it would probably have to wait until next week. All of our stuff is packaged and ready to move and all they could offer is to move us next week? No discount or anything. A few of the movers I called desperate to find someone to move us this weekend laughed and said that happens all the time with this company.

Brennen Demott and his team were amazing. We've never had professional movers before and they got our whole 3 bedroom + garage house done in a single day packing and moving. They fit an amazing amount of stuff into our storage pods, much better than we would have done. They moved everything from our piano to loose kids toys and art on the walls with great efficiency and wrapped it much better than we would have. The whole team was super covid safe wearing gloves and masks (over their noses!) the whole day. Thank you!

I would recommend that before you have them out you confirm that the movers have all their needed supplies and tools for the job. Our guys didn't have mattress covers and had to use a Leatherman to disassemble a bed frame.

The moving crew is great. However, the billing wasn't great. They didn't tell me about 5 hour minimum charge for the weekend moving when I scheduled the moving. After I paid the $200 deposit, they told me there's 5 hour minimum requirement. Thus, I had to move my moving date to the regular work date. The communication was bad. The guy on the phone told me they would be here on Tuesday afternoon. However, they showed up at 8:15 am in the morning without calling me first. But the crew did a decent job. They are efficient and fast, They also took care of the stuff. I think the admin process needs to be improved. Also, it's really pricy for the one hour local move. I tried to negotiate the price.. but the office is not very friendly about it.

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO SHOW UP! As someone who had to help a family member out very last minute, I would not recommend you schedule to have them help you. My daughter and her roommate hired them to move their two bedroom apartment and they never showed. Upon calling they could confirm that they did in fact have their reservation in the computer but nobody scheduled the movers. Out of luck. No recourse at all. Had this been someone with no family and a 3 bedroom house, it would have been horrible. Thank goodness for the kind hearts of family and friends who pulled it together for them.

This A+ four man crew busted through our three bedroom townhouse like it was nothing! All four of them were friendly and efficient! After the transaction was finished and I received my emailed bill, I was charged 75 extra dollars for a mattress cover and the boxed my TVs, tho it was appreciated that they took care of my items.. I was not told of the material items at the time. This was after I specifically said earlier in the loading process that I didn’t want them to use their supplies as the move was already going to be Spendy. I said that I would just move the items that they needed to use their supplies on. When I called customer service to ask about the charges I was told sorry. The supplies were used and there was nothing they could do to refund me.

When the movers, Miguel Bernal and his team, got to my place they were very friendly and they adapted so well to what was happening in my building with the elevators. **NEVER SHOWED UP!!**. (Portland Oregon area)…..I have never written a bad review on any company before but please learn from my horrible experience and never use All My Sons Moving. Had a reservation for a 3 man crew for a Saturday, paid my deposit 2 weeks in advance. Movers were supposed to arrive between 8am and 9am in the morning. I received a call the day prior to our move stating that the crew would instead come in late morning/early afternoon. No one had arrived at our home by 2:30pm so I called and was told they would be there in about one hour. No one ever came. Received a call around 5pm stating that they had no crews available and would not be able to come until the following week….no apology or offer to even refund my deposit if needed. The person who called me said he would check alternative options for me and then never even called me back. At this point in the day it was too late to reserve my own truck or receive service from another company. A confirmed reservation obviously means nothing with All My Sons. This whole ordeal put my family in a huge bind for that evening. All of our items and beds were taken apart and were packed/wrapped/taped and ready to move. We have 3 small children and ended up incurring several additional costly expenses to scramble and make alternate plans that night and through the weekend. Please do not give your business to this unprofessional company. If having a confirmed moving date is important to you call some other local reputable companies like Gentle John’s Moving & Storage, Priestley & Sons, or Brian’s Expert Movers

I used this service last minute and they were able to fit me into a schedule really quickly and within a few days. They explained all the billing information and no hidden fees were added, my time did go over the 2 hour minimum mark, but that was not a big problem. Came in and followed every instructions I gave and they even helped finish wrapping some item, they were very gentle and worked so hard to load and unload my boxes. Miguel Bernal headed up the 6 guys who helped my family move. We had a tricky move because we are temporarily going to an apartment before moving to our house in a few months. The guys all worked very hard to separate what was going to our apartment and what was going into storage. they broke down are larger items like beds and couches, and then nicely put them back together in the correct rooms on the new digs. They made sure to label the boxes so when they delivered them they were able to put them in the correct rooms instead of all one big pile in the living room. Their packing was incredibly detailed to make sure items were properly wrapped and stored so nothing was damaged. They worked for 10 hours and only took one 15 minute break that I noticed (and they made sure to tell me they were taking a break which was thoughtful). They were all very nice and respectful. I look forward to working with them again when we move from our apartment to our house soon.

My apartment was two LONG corridors away from the elevator, then stopped to load more at my daughter's house, then delivering and moving in to my new place (Two sets of stairs!!). Cancelled our move 1/2 hour before we were scheduled to move. This was on the Saturday before labor day. Told us they may possibly be able to move is Monday but no guarantee. Told us for our trouble they wouldn't charge us holiday rates if they moved us...wow, so nice of them. Hired another mover in the interim. Tried to call to get out deposit back, was hung up on twice after going thru various phone trees. Finally got someone, told us they processed the refund. Several days later, no refund. Called back, was told it was never processed. Two days later we finally got our deposit back, minus $15 for a cancellation fee!! Avoid these people with everything you got! So unprofessional, unreliable.

Broke off a number of big branches on my tree in front yard with huge oversize truck and clearly thought it would be ok to block my driveway. Photo only shows what was on the truck not what all was on the street. Threw the big branches in my front lawn and left all the smaller ones on the street. Offered a phone number and I backed up when he was coming too close to maintain six feet social distance so driver stomped off and said I could look it up online. When I explained I just wanted to maintain social distance when he gave me the phone number, he said "Oh God" and refused to provide it. All I wanted them to do was to clear the branches instead of making them all my responsibility. My yard bin is full. Refused to give me the phone number a second time, saying he would have to look it up. Told me he doesn't get paid enough to deal with people like me, and I'm the problem. Gave up being on hold waiting for person for over 15 minutes to complain and am so irritated that he couldn't be kind but instead viewed it as my being the problem from moment one. This is the Clackamus branch and the move was right off Alberta St on 5/22. I have more pics of additional branches from other trees he took down afterwards. I resolved by forcing them to deal with the branches since they were refusing to do so and they further prevented me from reaching anyone to manage the situation professionally.

I usually have good experiences with any company I do business with, and tend to chalk up bad google reviews to Karen's expecting too much. However, this business is one you should stay away from. I was just canceled on with only four days notice and no offer of remediation other than rescheduling me for a day sooner, or a week out. They were very quick to explain to me their excuses and troubles over the phone, and yet had no sympathy for how much it will cost me to have a sudden moving schedule change. Use this company at your own risk, knowing that they could cancel on you in short notice, and they do not have anything close to a customer-first approach. The blessing in disguise here is I never will experience the quality of their moving service. If it is as bad as their customer service, I can only imagine...

Though i packed most items they were happy to pack those items i could not like a couple monitors and a heavy ptinter. They were very.careful with keeping the furniture in good shape and unscratched , using blankets and wrapping cabinets and mattress in a plastic seal then removing the plastic before leaving. Matt led the group who worked well together He checked with me or my son periodically to be sure they weee doing what we wanted. He was very professional and i was pleased with the outcome. The process took longer than i thought it would so the final cost was more than i expected but a lot of my furniture was exceptionally heavy and bulky. Good work Matt and the guys. Cecile

I hired All My Sons in Clackamas to move our belongings from Happy Valley, store them in their vaults for a week, then move them into our new home in the Vancouver area...$13k. The amount of damaged and scratched furniture, boxes with the entire contents shattered, wall scrapes and dents in our new home, says you can easily find more competent and less expensive movers. They even delivered someone else's things with ours! The biggest issue was the fact they broke the reclining mechanism in a brand new $2500 sofa and offered me $500, and never lifted a hand to assist in the repair. They've left it to me to find and install the part. I thought it was just the reclining motor they broke but once I installed that I discovered they broke the entire mechanical system underneath. I'm still trying to source the parts to fix it myself. And oh by the way they just cancelled the $500 repair settlement without checking to see if I had got things resolved. We did not make claims for all of the other damages like our dining room table and chairs and many other things, and this is still how we were treated.

Didnt make some important things clear in the hiring process, I was "hired" did orientation and then they told me no, I cant work there because I had marijuana in my system, but over half of their employees smoke, and no one gets drug tested. I wasted almost 3 weeks "getting" this job, and turned down 2 other job offers for them. The hiring manager is very sweet but as for company procedures and competence, they are trash.

I just recently used All My Sons when moving. I was really pressed for time and needed help to get the move done fast and efficient. That is exactly what I got. Pjaren Williams was a tremendous help in this process. All of the guys were super professional and efficient when working. They went above and beyond and I was very appreciative of their efforts. Now, I am usually the type of person that moves everything myself but I am so glad that I had their help! It took so much stress off of my shoulders and I was able to get settled into my new place much faster. If you need help moving I definitely recommend their service.

Saul Sosa & his 2 coworkers were professional, took great care in handling our belongings & worked very hard to load our belongings into our U-Haul truck. Even the crew we had unload us at the end of our move complimented the job they did wrapping our furniture for the move. We arrived with everything in perfect condition!
