the price has been updated twice. and if i did not agreed to pay they didn't want to give me back my things. They "supposedly" said the truck could not come to my house. which is not correct. I have had bigger trucks coming in the past. Plus, ALL the boxes were damaged, and a few goods were broken. I will definitely NEVER work with Matco anymore. and I will NEVER recommend them. i am really disappointed.

I had a very good experience with the crew from Matco. Nothing was broken or lost. The crew was courteous and patient. The only reason for the four star not five was the one extra person hired on the unloading wasn't very efficient and spent a lot of time chatting.

Update 2020! The team at Matco Yellowknife just completed my pack for my upcoming move and I was amazed at how great it was. All the way from dealing with the no contact pre-move inspection, timely communication, attention to detail, the great use of packing supplies, and extremely skilled team to ensure that your stuff moves safely from A to Z. Special shout out to Nicole as her patience, honesty, and timely communication ensured that I knew my family and our belongings was being looked after, all while trying to move during a pandemic. Highly recommend.

Good old smashco, broke $5000 woth of our stuff including a bed frame my wife and I bought when we got married 18 years ago. Filed a claim and no response from company. Tried to follow up and again no response from company. Discovered a couple of items missing when we arrived. Not stuff that could be misplaced, I mean it was stolen. We checked our house when we left and it was empty. Company staff are students in the summer and otherwise unemployable persons who just don't care. If you have a choice look elsewhere, even if you have to move yourself.

I recently used Matco services to move my personal belongings and household items to Whitehorse. While looking for an apartment, they stored my stuff for an extremely reasonable fee, and when I found an apartment, delivered my stuff on-time and in excellent condition. On top of that, the staff was very professional and prompt with replying to emails and phone calls, and helpful with the arrangement of everything moving related. If I could give it a zero Stars I would. They led me to believe my items would be delivered Within a "10-day a window." But then once I arrived at my new location, they told me that it would be between 12 and 17 days. And then they acted like I was crazy and that's the previous conversation had never happened. I believe they misled me in order to get the bid as the government was paying for my move. They then emailed me 11 days after I moved when I still didn't have my items, and advised me that they broke my kitchen table. They said I would have to fill out the form and sign it and send it back in order to make a claim, which is funny that they expect me to do that without a computer or a printer that they still have not delivered. They also said not to commence replacement or repairs until we have an agreement. I haven't eaten on a table in almost two weeks, and now I still won't be able to after my stuff is delivered until I come to some agreement with them!! I have made a complaint to my employer and I hope they never award Matco a bid again. Steer clear!!

We hired Matco Moving Solutions to move our stuff from Vancouver, BC to Whitehorse, YT. The team was very helpful and easy to reach with from the beginning of the process/booking until after we received our delivery. They were fast and very careful in loading and unloading all of our stuff. The moving team made sure that everything was in great condition and placed our boxes in our rooms. I moved in December with matco. Some of my more precious and electronics I left behind at a friends house planning to return for a visit and bring rest of my stuff down with me in my vehicle. Then covid happened. I had such good experience with matco with Dec move that I gave them a call to see if they could pick rest of my stuff up from friends house. Sure enough. Not a problem and just received the rest of my belongings. I knew my stuff would be packed well... Very pleasant, professional. Easy to contact by phone or email and always a prompt response. I mainly dealt with Nicole out of Edmonton office and so very easy to deal with. Great team. Thanks

Matco provided the delivery end of a cross-country move for me, with the destination being a rural property down a windy 200m driveway. There were a few minor hiccups along the way, but in the end the delivery people were able to bring everything to where it needed to go and were extremely professional and courteous in doing so. So far everything seems undamaged and accounted for, though we are still in the process of unpacking!
