Onmoving day was very responsive since day one and I am glad I decided to go with them. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The movers picked up my belongings and carefully arranged them in the truck and arrived in Montreal right on time. They were quick and a joy to get to know. I can't recommend them enough. Moving cross-province is never easy but these guys were a tremendous help!

This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. The guys were good hard workers but the person who gave us the quote screwed up the under estimated and it ended up taking 3 days to get our stuff,but then they charged an extra 1700 dollars as they hamake two trips to Leamington from Hamilton. I only found out as I checked my visa. My wife was the one dealing with them. They ripped us off

Required to pack, disassemble and move the entire contents of a 12-bedroom home from Mississauga and transport everything to our new home 2.5 hours away and unpack and store it there. On top of that, we needed a lot of junk to be removed and disposed of also. OMD brought 2 trucks and 6 guys to do the job. They were professional, courteous, driven, and a joy to work with in getting such an incredible job done in such a short space of time... and they did it! As a former senior executive of several major multinationals in the US, such as eBay and Salesforce, I recognize quality in people and passion in what they do instantly. OMD's crew surpassed all of my expectations. If that were not enough, they charged me 25% less than the lowest bid I got from other companies. Based on our experience, I could not recommend them more highly.

We used the service of ‘On Moving Day’ to move from Toronto to Ottawa and they are by far the best movers we've ever worked with. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The movers arrived on time and were excellent, very polite, and hardworking. They wrapped all the furniture including glass items and were very courteous to our belongings. They finished loading, moving, unloading, and re-assembling on a same day as promised. The team went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition. Absolutely great customer service and great company. Working with Amy to obtain a quote and schedule was very effortless and simple. She is very professional and transparent. I would highly recommend using them. They will make sure you are not disappointed.

OMD moved my senior mom from St. Catharines, Ontario to Montreal, Quebec. They did a great job and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. I was nervous about the move - we were uprooting my mom from her home of 50 years, what a disaster it would be if her possessions didn’t make it in one piece?! Fortunately we didn’t have to worry, they arrived and all in one piece. Amy is a great hand-holder and was incredibly patient and responsive to my questions and foot-dragging. When I expressed concern about the lack of reviews anywhere online, she offered 3 references. I called all of them, one twice, and that gave me the confidence to go ahead. The reviews, like mine, were not perfect but they were honest. I hope OMD can grow their online presence as it would have been easy to just go on to another company. The moving team was great. Bright is full of energy and clearly loves his job. Both guys were pleasant and respectful and hard-working. In the end the final hours clocked were slightly less than estimated. They were slightly late on both the pick-up/loading day (15-20 minutes) and the following unloading day (30-40 minutes) but in both instances Amy called to let me know in advance of the scheduled time. It was not at all a big deal for us. The only criticisms we have fall into what I hope will be constructive feedback. OMD uses blankets to wrap furniture to protect it. This is great; however, we discovered that those blankets retain a lot of dust - so while tables had been dusted and polished before the move, they need another full clean after. I think this could be easily remedied by shaking out the blankets after each move. The ‘contract’ is a bit weird, more a statement of respective roles and responsibilities and no details (all of which are in the estimate). That made me a bit nervous, but was remedied in part by Amy putting additional details into a cover email with the final estimate. For the higher value, long distance moves, it may be a good idea to modify the contract form to allow for more customized info. All in all, we had a good experience!
