I have had nothing but positive experiences with Apple Self Storage. I have housed my personal items at their Chebucto location on two separate occasions. I am always extremely impressed. Their spaces are easy to access, well lit, spotlessly clean and there are always plenty of dollies available to move your belongings around as needed. Mostly importantly, their customer service is excellent. Their team is always friendly and knowledgeable. They give helpful payment reminders too, which a forgetful person like me truly appreciates! A+!

Really not a fan of Purolator dropping off packages here.. It's out of the way and in a busy area. Without large signage it's also really hard to find! That being said, they get the job done and are pleasant to work with. My biggest gripe is that they close at five (though, I went there once at 4:50 and it was locked up and closed).. So if you work, plan ahead..!

Very disappointed with this location. Went over today to pick up a package that was dropped here by Purolator because I wasn't home to discover this location is closed for the whole day for an employee training day. Someone from this location needs to notify its partners whenever they are open or closed especially when they choose to randomly close on a regular work day.

Apple Self Storage on Chebucto Road are just terrific to deal with. My husband and I have been living in LA for the last two years because of work, and literally everything we own is in Apple's facility in Halifax. I really cannot say enough about the wonderful Apple staff, who are unfailingly helpful, courteous, and really go out of their way to make us feel our belongings are safe and secure. If you have storage needs of any kind, I would recommend Apple Self Storage on Chebucto Road without hesitation!

This place is not easy to find. All the GPS/Waze etc I used got me nowhere close to the location. Where it actually is is near the Sears Outlet center. I had to come pick up a package that for whatever reason was undeliverable by Purolator and since they are the local Purolator representatives, thats where they keep your packages. The staff was really nice and there wasnt much of a wait.

Only ever open until 5pm. Impossible to pick up a package from there if you also work. Unbelievable that they're not open until 7pm at least one day of the week like most businesses with daytime hours. EDIT: I see that they are now open on Saturdays! This is a huge bonus! She showed me the unit that my nephew had and we changed the locks. She offered to show me where the new one was located but it was quite a distance so she showed me on the map instead. Had a package delivered by the Purolator outlet that works from this Apple self storage location but I was not home. I went on monday (dec.4) to pick up my parcel at 9am like the delivery slip said I could. I get there and we wait until almost 9:30 and no one showed up to open the door. Probably ten other people showed up to do pick ups and had to walk away as well. Called their number and was transferred to Dieppe! where they said yes that store was closed for training. Training perhaps should start with customer service? Just a little note on the door would have made the difference so we didnt have to sit around wasting our time for them to open.

Impossible to find if you don't know the area. When I eventually found it after 1 hour, I was told they "had signs" but they had "removed them". No apology for my inconvenience. This place isn't even on Chebucto Road... It's on the road the Wholesale Club is on, tucked in secretly. Unless you go past the Wholesale Club you won't see it's massive sign at all. Wasted an hour looking for the place because of getting stuck in traffic so much. To top it off, the only reason I had to go there was because Purolator as usual, didn't bother ringing my doorbell, which is so loud it's impossible not to hear. Another wonderful adventure with Purolator... and I have had many now.

I rented the unit for my friend on this location 3 months ago. I had ever done this before and the girl named Erica Bevin helped me to make it easy for me. She greeted me very politely and provide extraordinary service and make me feel that I am important to them. She discuss few unit options with me and mentioned about the promotion going on that time which really helped me to finalize the unit for my stuff. The best service I liked about it was 24/7 excess to the unit without any interruption which is best suited for me. This is definitely is a well maintained and clean location. Absolutely ridiculous hours for the purolator 9am-5pm. Needs to be open both earlier and later. 8am-6pm would be preferable. Better signage on chebucto would be helpful as it is very hard to find the first time there. Edit: Eventually got my package by taking a half day off work. Staff was really friendly so decided to update my review to reflect this.

We chose Apple mainly due to location (child is at Dalhousie and away for the term). The online reservation was simple to figure out and easy to complete. We were delayed in our arrival and a quick call and we were assured there would be no issues moving a day later. Upon arrival the staff was incredibly helpful and provided all the necessary information for us storage newbies. While our locker was on the upper level the elevator etc. was easy to use. The facility is incredibly clean and the security seems to be top notch. Everything so far has been to our expectations if not above so.

Company is advertising 50% off selected units. However, the promotion is technically based on supply and demand not specific units. The reply from the sales person was "I have been filled to 90% capacity since covid started," but could not provide a "specific" list of unit size or style which would qualify for the 50% off (as stipulated on their website). The sales person also stated they have not honored the 50% off since covid started as well. Basically acknowledging the false advertising tactic utilized by this organization. The sales person provided the number for head office and rudely hung up the phone without offering a professional close to the conversation as any sales person should. I was in no way rude or disrespectful to the sales personal I simply asked to know the list of units which qualified for the 50% off. in summary: False advertising, rude sales person and using covid as an excuse to not honor advertised promotions. hardly a way to operate a business and generate repeat business.

I went to this location to pick up a very expensive laptop from Purolator. When the young lady brought it out she asked for ID and asked me to sign. I noticed that the tape was torn at one end of the box and on my way back to the car I looked at the tape on top which read "caution if the seal is broken, check for hidden damage and concealed loss in presence of carrier. Note all facts on receipt". So, I returned to the desk and told her about the tape and what it said. Her immediate response was to say "you already signed for it! If there's anything wrong with it, you'll have to deal with the company where you bought it. We can't do anything about it". I've worked in retail and customer service for 29 years and that's not an acceptable response. I wasn't told to check it over ...just sign for it. Luckily, there was no damage but I'll be sure to use another carrier next purchase.

This facility is really clean, well light with lights on a timer and easy to access. It is off of Chebucto Road, across from the Whole Sale Club, which I like for security! The staff are really friendly and helpful, they helped me find the exact sized unit for my belongings and made sure i knew my way to the unit before sending me on my way! I would recommend this facility and any other Apple Self Storage to anyone and everyone!
