Friday May 28: Very unhappy with the movers that were assigned to help move. My partner and I moved from a 1 bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom apartment in the same building. As soon as they arrived, one gentleman complained about how many items there were to move. He commented that my partner and I are to move the lighter items and even commented to his colleague carrying a bag of clothing that "one of the girls could have carried that." We are paying for the movers to move items from point A to B, why were we expected to carry down items? We even moved items prior to their arrival and he was still huffing and puffing. When the couch was being moved they caused damage to the couch, walls, door frames, and the neighboring door across the hallway. The gentleman was forcing the couch through the doorframe and hallway which caused scratches on the couch and paint marks along the length of the couch. "Just hide it with pillows" and "use soft sand paper to get the paint out" was the gentleman's solution. The couch also wobbles and is not stable because it was forced through the door frames. The two movers were eager to get out and once we called the head person to confirm time spent they bolted out - and their policy is that damage will not be compensated if the movers have already left. This policy was not mentioned at all beforehand. Very unprofessional and unsatisfied with these movers. We called the head person to notify them the extent of the damage and he referred to the policy. We had advised him that the two bolted out fast once we had him on the phone. The head owner said he will be following up with the two movers to inquire about the damage done and get back to us. If the owner helps solve this problem, I'll will update this review. As of right now, we are not impressed and would not recommend them. Monday May 31 UPDATE: I spoke to the owner, Adam, to see if he was able to connect with the two movers from Friday and to see what he can do about the damages his movers caused. Needless to say, I stand by my review. Very unprofessional and would never use them again nor recommend them. Adam recognized me from my review and initally advised that he was not willing to discuss options to fix the problem because I left a negative review. After some discussion about handling furniture, Adam offered a $50 etransfer for damage cost if I deleted my review. I declined the offer as this is a very poor way to run a business and resolve an issue with a customer. This is not how you do business as it is really unprofessional and unethical.

We had a great experience with Easy Moving Solutions. They showed up on time and responded very quickly and professionally when their truck wouldn't start. With in 30 minutes a new truck arrived and the two gentlemen worked quick to make up the time. These young guys were efficient, friendly and professional. They treated our belongings with care and did a great job at maximizing truck space usage. We will use them again in heartbeat!

Easily the worst experience ever. Though the movers showed up early and did a full walkthrough, it took them almost 8 hours to do a move to a new location that was literally seven minutes away. We all had to jump in to help them, as they were so slow moving. I suspect if we hadn't helped, it would have been a ten hour move. Even though I emailed stating the size of the apartment (2 bedrooms), they showed up in a small truck, and ended up having to do two trips to get our stuff. They also left their dollies at the old apartment, and we ended up going back to pick them up for them! They also broke several items toward the end of the move (after the owner spoke to them). They ceased to be professional and were loudly complaining about how they would never work a move again. This move took longer than our move from Toronto to KW. I would only recommend them to my worst enemy.

UPDATE! After leaving a review of our horrible experience. The owner, Adam, contact my fiance, and offered her money if we were to remove the bad review. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE AND RUDE. Dealing with Easy Moving Solutions was easily the most frustrating ordeal that my fiance and I have ever had to deal with. Calling their movers useless is a gross understatement. We would have been better off hiring stoned teenagers, then using this company. They gave us attitude from the first moment they arrived at our house. We would have fired them half way through them loading up the truck. But we were scared to what they would have done to our furniture at that moment. These movers did not care about any of our furniture. They just picked up the furniture, and through it into their truck. My fiance and I did most of the work for them. We wrapped all of our furniture and handed most of it to them. Here are just a few of the issues we had with the movers. - I will start with the worst offense. At the end of the move. When the driver 'Shawn' proceed to yell at my fiance on our front step, about how difficult she has been. When I stepped in and told him that this is uncalled for. He looked at me claimed 'I don't mean to disrespect you wife, but she's a b*tch.' We both pointed out to him that this is no way to treat a paying customer. His reply was 'I don't give a sh*t.' We finally asked him to leave. Walking away, he screams out 'F*CK IT! I don't need this sh*t.' As 'Shawn' is climbing into the truck. The other mover came up to me and apologized for his actions, claiming 'He has done this many times before. He is an agree man.' Moments later, we called the boss 'Adam'. He had little to no regard for employees actions. 'Adam' claimed that his movers are the best in the business. I beg to differ. - They arrived, reeking of body odor. As in, neither of them has showered in days. This was at 9:30am, and the move had not started yet. - When I suggested that I do not believe that place spare tires on top of a glass table. I was meet with grumbling and complaining. - While loading up some furniture that carries a sentimental value to my fiance, she mentioned 'Please be careful with that. I do not want it to break.' Which I find as a completely legit concern and request. We were greeted we a reply from the mover of 'Lord. Please help me with the f*cking sh*t'. - We just had our new house professionally cleaned. My fiance and I requested that the movers wear booties, that we provided, in the house to try and keep the house clean. 'Shawn' instantly called his boss, Adam, and they claimed it was a 'Safety Hazard' to wear them. They would be willing to walk on moving blankets and tarps. The mover ended up tripping over the blankets a few times, each time smashing into the wall. We heard him say each time, 'F*** it. Its not mine'. - Moving our washer and dryer upstairs, they ended up scratching our hard wood floors. This is while using moving blankets. That alone takes a special level of disregard to do. - When we said that a china hutch was to be moved downstairs. The movers stated that they will take no responsibility for any damage to the walls or the hutch to mover it downstairs. He also commented that patching the wall and I quote 'You have 2 professional movers here and now. The walls can be fixed by picking something up at the dollar store'. We told them just place it on the ground and we will take care of it later. - When backing up at out new place. They parked the truck extremely close to a tree. When I asked if they think its a little close. I was given an answer of 'Nah. It's fine.' Through out the unloading process. They almost purposely hit every piece of furniture with a branch of the tree. - Almost all of our furniture became damaged one way or another. We have some family heirlooms that we care for deeply. - One of them, we don't know who. Wiped their sweating head on our mattress. We used an entire bottle of Febreze on it, just to mask the smell. We will need to buy a new one.

Adam was very prompt and helpful. Unlike most I didn't need a full service move. I needed a couple of guys to help me move things at the last minute. Unlike the other moving companies I called who didn't have an adaptable booking service to be able to think outside the box, Adam was able to realise what I needed and didn't waste my time asking questions that weren't relevant. He sent me a couple of guys who worked from start to finish and did a great job. Cheers.

Easy Solutions Movers were actually NOT easy to deal with. First of all, they show up at my 3 bedroom townhouse with a small rented truck - not nearly big enough for all my belongings. Then the workers show up without a single tool to take apart my furniture, including straps for the heavy items. This move took much longer than expected - over 12 hours to be exact! They had to make multiple trips due to 1) the fact the the truck wasn't big enough; 2) to pick up extra tools like a dolly (which I pointed out they should have); and 3) because they forgot the tools that they picked up at the old house. The workers were forgetful, disorganized, and lacked professionalism (although they were young guys who were also not provided the proper tools to do their jobs with). Overall, dealing with Adam was not a positive experience, and we vehemently don't recommend you use them for your move.

I hired Easy Moving Solutions to move me from Waterloo to Toronto. They came and packed up my stuff on Jul 29th, moved it to a storage location, and then brought it to Toronto on Aug 3. Everything went smoothly and they dissembled and re-assembled my larger furniture (bedroom furniture) for me. Price was reasonable, would recommend and use services again in the KW area!

I hired Easy Moving to move some things around my house as I'm getting ready to list and am on a tight timeline. The first day, they didn't show up. I called and the owner, Adam, said if he didn't send me a text that it's not confirmed, even though he confirmed on the phone. Okay. Day 2, Adam still doesn't send me a text despite my texting him. I then call him. He confirms again on the phone and sends a text. The movers don't show up again. I message Adam, who has decided to stop responding to me. Now, I'm probably going to break my back trying to move this stuff myself and I finally checked out the other Google Reviews. Trust the 1-stars and don't call these guys. Don't be fooled by the "cheap" prices. You get what you pay for.

They used a Ryder truck for moving my house. His team were properly equipped to handle heavy items such as treadmills.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This was the worst moving experience I've ever had. The men had an attitude the moment they walked in the door. They threw a fit when we asked them to wear a mask...they never did, and we have a new baby. Then they got into verbal disagreement with my husband, then they did the worst packing job I had ever seen. Our stuff didn't fit, which cost thousands of dollars to order another truck. The final blow is that almost every single price of furniture arrived damaged. Shrink wrap, moving blankets, bubble wrap (All which we provided, they had none) nah...they just put expensive furniture in without any coverings. Where are the screws you ask for our bed, dining table, desk....in moving heaven I guess. Needless to say, this business should be shut down.

I’m not perfect nor is anyone BUT..... this company (ADAM -the owner) in question decided after trying to call us and email us less then 24 hours after moving our young single daughter who lives alone to her rented storage locker ,,,, Decided after not hearing from the adults whose names (ONLY) were on the contract and knowing after our initial down payment of $150 were also the ones who would be paying the balance of $287.31 found a way to creep our daughter find her phone number and sent her this exact text message : ***We completed a move yesterday for which an outstanding balance remains owing. A negative review was also left for our business, which I hope you can imagine is unfair to a small business that delivered on its side of a contract. Should the balance remaining outstanding, it will have to be reported to the police and a small claims court action will be commenced shortly. We hope to avoid any such ugliness and kindly request payment as soon as possible (i.e. today) for services rendered.*** So he the adult owner not only scared our daughter he freaked her out enough she called us crying and worried what he might do especially knowing where she now lives..... I don’t own my own business BUT.... most of us have kids and we know better when speaking with another couples child this is not right and very unprofessional and wrong from start to finish..... PLEASE READ and reread this review and make your own choice for who you pick.... I also called him loosing my mind about the whole being an upset father and he then said here’s my lawyer (HIS DAUGHTER) who was very kind and very respectful and she was the only good thing from this whole incident . I left one star and it’s for the lawyer not for the owners actions. He the owner couldn’t even talk on his own behalf or admit he was wrong .....

This moving company is very sneaky with their unethical business practices. BUYER BEWARE!!! They advertise, no hidden fees, no extra charges!?!? False advertising! This is how they get you: they show up to your address, walk around give you an approximate quote for the job and request a deposit upfront (my case $400) then they fully load their truck. THEN they do their sneaky hidden fees math and demand a full payment before unloading at the new address! Tried to talk to the owner, Alex, who was the rudest prick I've ever dealt with. Alex you own a business, you should understand the value of customer service. He was yelling and screaming at me and then hung up on me before there was a resolution. I tried phoning him back and he just ignored my call several times. So basically if I didn't want to go with the quote ($800+) they were going to keep my $400 deposit and unload back at the original house?!? I ended up paying, what choice do I have. BUYER BEWARE. They charge for time and gas FROM THE TIME THEY LEAVE THEIR SITE, not get to your home (this was never mentioned in the quote or beforehand) all appliances moved are +$40 EACH. A piano is +$140 and even if you go ONE MINUTE over the hour you are charged for an extra hour. Also they quoted me in writing $195 for first 2 hours, then on site said it was $225. Scammers!!! Oh and I didn't even mention that they showed up 2 hours later then the confirmed appointment time!!! I hope that someone reads this before selecting Easymovingsolutions.ca and doesn't go through what I went through!!! Thank you Katharina Walt

I highly recommend Easy Moving Solutions to people who are looking for professional movers. The owner was extremely responsive and was able to address all our questions and concerns. The movers, Gary and Love, arrived on time with all the proper equipment. What I appreciate about their service is their strategy for packing our stuff in their truck. They organized everything in the truck in such a way that our things were safely and securely loaded. Nothing was damaged during the move, and everything went smoothly.

While Adam and his boys did get a job done, they cancelled on me the day of my move without notice, until I called them, and forced me to reschedule to the next day. They required my assistance to get the job done, and then after the fact upcharged me "$100" for changing the location of the move within my own home (instead of garage to backyard) and then quoted me $652 bill from an original quote of $400, so actually a $200 + upcharge which then required haggling after citing the cancellation and requiring my assistance during the move. Edit: After this review Adam called me regarding my concerns and offered to work with me to adjust the price and offer a partial refund. This was a classy move and shows Adam does care about his customer service.

I had them booked for 6:00 pm to help me move to my new place. They didnt show up at 6:00 pm. I called them around 6:20pm, they told me “we are sorry for the delay“ and that they will be arriving in 5 mins.... This kept going until 10:45 pm (they kept coming up with different excuses over the phone... “Sir, I will be there in 7 mins, I just had flat tires“....etc) When they arrived at 10:45 pm, I asked if they will be considering giving me a discount to compensate for the delay. The driver had an attitude. He said, “I dont give a f*** about your time“. I ended up calling my friends at 11:00 pm who came over and helped me with the move. I called the manager to complain about the incident. I received the same exact attitude... “I dont care about your time... if you are not interested, we got 10 other customers.... so f*** off“. From now on... I will be getting my friends to help me move... to avoid any scams...

PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE THING. Although I didn’t use this company to move, they have great customer service on the phone and even helped come up with solutions to what you are about to read. ...This review is a warning for anyone who found easymovingsolutions.ca (also called “all city trucking and moving”) through Kijiji which is a totally different company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM. They have extremely bad customer service. I had a move scheduled for 2pm they then called me 15 minutes before they were supposed to show up and said their truck “broke down” in the MORNING so they couldn’t make it until 5pm. I had scheduled this move weeks in advance, I have an extremely busy day and they failed to tell me what was going on until 15 minutes before everything was supposed to happen. I asked if they were able to try to come earlier because new people were moving into my place at 5pm and the move wasn’t too big, they said it wasn’t a problem and they’d try to get there well before 5. Well 5pm came and went, I called multiple times and the manager would swear at me, asking if I was “f**king stupid”, and then tell me to “just wait, it won’t be long” and he’d hang up the phone on me. The new people showed up and we were all waiting around for this awful company who kept saying “they’d be there soon”. At about 6:30 he texted me and instead of compensating me for wasting my time, he jacked up the price an extra $200 because he was “unaware” on what they were supposed to be moving even though I told them multiple times through the phone and emails. They inconvenienced me, my family, my friends and a whole lot of others involved in the move with their incompetence. I ended up having to get the very kind people who were moving into my place to help me, who thankfully had a big enough van (bless their souls), because the money the company was asking for was unrealistic. They cause nothing but stress. They are a scam!! Do not book any moving appointments with them, they have hidden fees and will drain you of your money! They are extremely rude and will call you the f word and treat you poorly. STAY AWAY!!... This company on google doesn’t deserve the bad reviews that are supposed to be for the company on Kijiji, the Kijiji company shouldn’t exist. This company should be the only company with this name in the Kitchener/Waterloo area, I feel bad they share a name with such a horrible company. I know they are much better then the company on Kijiji. I would recommend moving with them as they were kind on the phone. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Honestly if I could give more than five stars I would. I was initially going to go ahead with another company for our move but after some back and forth it became clear they were going to jack up the final price any way they could...extra charge for furniture, appliances etc. I am so glad I called Adam and was able to book with him instead. A lot of transparency regarding the price and clarity re what would be included in that price (which was better than what I had been quoted by others). The final total for my move was absolutely true to what I was quoted. No funny business. The guys showed up on time, were very friendly and worked real hard to move as fast as they could to get the job done. I communicated my expectations with them at the beginning when they first started and they were great about it all. Couldnt ask for more
