This is the second time we’ve used this company for moving and they’ve been exceptional each time. The movers are always very polite and professional. We had steve and Mike yesterday and they were awesome. They did a great job and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Highly recommend. What they did in 6 hours would have taken us 2 days+ to do.

My move went off without a hitch and as planned. CJ and Connor were absolutely great in handling my move. Unfortunately, the weather caused a minor start delay, however when CJ and Connor showed up they went right to work! These two fine young men were very professional and courteous at all times. They worked tirelessly until the job was done, no lazy bones in their bodies. I went out and bought pizza for lunch for everyone and I had a hard time getting CJ and Connor to stop for 5 minutes to enjoy some lunch! I have to admit, when I booked the move with Two Small Men I was a little skeptical, but CJ and Connor relieved that skepticism within 10 minutes of being on the job. I now would not hesitate to use Two Small Men next time I move! The only negative I would have is what they called their fuel surcharge, the amount I was charged probably covered their entire fuel cost.

Great move, CJ worked like a champ and the guys were positive, polite and excellent to work with. We only had two guys, and three would have been better as it took longer than we originally thought. Not a huge fan of the $110 fuel surcharge, as we moved less than 10 km away, but we were told ahead of time and agreed to it.

I’ve been working with the company for the past month in Grande Prairie, payday was the 20th and I still haven’t been paid at all, was told by CJ it would be taken care of. Can’t get ahold of anyone in the GP office or CJ, no one calls back or messages me as to what’s happening. Haven’t been called in over 2 weeks about doing jobs. I’ve got a family to support and this has been by far the worst company I’ve ever worked for. I do not recommend working for them in GP.

The guys that moved me were amazing! (Thank you Dylan and your buddy (sorry, can't remember his name!) They took care with all my things but were fast and efficient with the load and unload. They were very up front and honest about how much time things would take and going over the bill. They really took pride in providing excellent customer service. We were sold our home and have 10 days before possession of the new home. What to do! Two Small Men to the rescue with a solution. They sent a crew of men to take our things to storage on the day we needed and arranged a delivery for our possession date. I was able to move on with day and take care of other things while they loaded up. Great experience so far, looking forward to seeing the crew at the new home.

Beware, this moving company is seriously the worst moving company we have ever used. They were late, incompetent workers. Damaged alot of personal items, did damage to our new home. Ungrateful company who offered us a payment of $140 for all their damages. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends, family or business associates. We have moved across Canada many times and have never had anything damaged in all those moves. Very disappointing to say the least!! Never heard back from this company, what a joke!!

I would give NO STARS if that were an option. On moving day “CJ” and what can only be described as a “motley crew” of young men who all showed up late to begin packing. They showed up with a 24’ truck to pack a 4 bedroom house into. My husband immediately informed them that truck was woefully undersized for the amount of furniture and belongings we would be transporting. He was assured that “they would make it fit”. They began packing. In hopes of keeping this short I will now move into point form to itemize our damages and missing items. 1. All our daughter’s clothing from her closet was packed into a contractor sized garbage bag and not boxes as other closets were. I don’t know why this was the case. The bag of clothing disappeared. An entire wardrobe gone. I was then informed the insurance doesn’t cover “disappearance” only damage and I could file a complaint with the RCMP but that is all they could offer. 2. A large rack of elk antlers disappeared. 3. Antique jewelry that was in my dresser (a great-grandmothers ring) disappeared. I should never have left jewelry in a dresser and should have packed it myself. 4. A hydraulic jack belonging to my husband also disappeared. All of these missing items have left us with no recourse except “file a complaint with the RCMP and they can do an investigation”. This company had approximately 6 different young men coming and going “packing” throughout the day, they had no quality control for packing technique or accountability. Damaged items: this is extensive. I opted for basic insurance (not understanding that I would come to regret this, but that the claim process is basically useless offering payment of .60/lb which will do nothing to repair all the damage to our furniture). Also a caveat added in the small print: any furniture containing particle board or veneer does not qualify for coverage. Find me any modern piece of furniture that doesn’t contain either of those things - but it’s their escape clause for having to pay for the damage they cause. A brand new master bedroom set - both dressers gouged through the finish to the bare wood beneath. Edges chipped, hardware bent. Legs for the king size bed disappeared, no hardware to put the bed back together at the other end. Bookcase finish damaged where the straps were tightened across the front and inadequate padding. Dark finish now marred to bare wood beneath. New coffee table scratched through the top, edges chipped and finish worn through. All dining room chairs with deep scratches, damage to finish, tabletop scratched and edges chipped. Antique china packed into styrofoam edges without paper padding to surround. 5/6 cups shattered. Mattress protectors were paid for and not used for the King bed, mattress loaded into truck and storage with my sheets on it. Now stained and filthy. As we predicted the truck was not large enough, they then had to scramble for another truck to finish loading and we had to pay for two trucks, drivers and fuel and taxes. They then unloaded our belongings, punched a hole in the drywall of the rental, claimed they would pay for the repair and when an invoice was submitted (we paid out of pocket and were told we would be reimbursed) they ignored our emails and refused to pay. In short: I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Steer clear unless you want your furniture damaged and belongings to disappear, and be told that you can go to the RCMP. They take no responsibility for who they hire, they have no standard of accounting for the belongings going into and out of their trucks (no manifest or inventory system at all!)

DO NOT USE Grande Prairie, AB We hired this company to move our larger furniture. First they took forever to wrap and get things loaded. I work for a large oilfield company, I know the difference between working safe and taking advantage. These guys were not putting in an honest effort. I saw one person carry a single pillow from the couch. Into our new house. This same person decided that it was ok to take quick smoke breaks every time he went back to the truck. They destroyed our tv, saying that a strap let go. Our tv is a large 60” flat screen with a good base to it. The base was snapped off and there was a dent on the back of the tv. Also the screen on the inside is shattered. Obviously the tv no longer works. The driver apologized and said that I can submit a claim to the office and that they have a quick turnaround on these things as THEY are the ones who broke it. The movers also snapped a leg off of the mirror for our dresser and cracked the base where it connects. The guy who was assisting the driver was not professional at all. He stood in our garage as the truck backed up. I had to stop them before they backed into our new home. They left all the doors open during a cold day -20. I was very polite to these two movers. I even folded the blankets that they had used to wrap our stuff. I paid the company in full even though I was not happy with how long they took and the damage they had done. I believed that the claims department would be quick to solve any problems. We emailed all pictures and left our contact info. Nothing was done, I had to call multiple times and leave messages. Once I finally was able to talk to claims they said they would look into the matter and call me back. I received nothing. No call or email. We have also contacted the director of operations as they had followed up with how the move went. Since we voiced our concerns we have heard nothing. I am very disappointed as I have done everything on my end to be polite and respectful. Again do not use this company.

Great moving company! They were amazingly priced compared to all major competitors. The men (keein (I think)) who showed up were incredibly professional and polite, they explained all pricing and procedures before the move, they worked very quick and carefully. They unloaded everything neatly and asked continuously what room I wanted the bigger items and heavy boxes in so I wouldn't have to move them later and even offered to build my bed for me. Such great service!
