I recently bought a house in New Waterford and called MacLeod's to come and service my furnace 3 times over the couple of years and each time they went over the top with sharing valuable information to me and even fixed things beyond what I was requesting saving me a ton of money! Brad and others that have come to my rescue at this company are amazing! The customer service from all workers are friendly and informative! I live in Ontario and I highly recommend MacLeod's Plumbing and Heating for the job to anyone in the Cape Breton area who needs oil and professional cost effective service team! So wonderful that this valuable business in right in the Friendly Town of New Waterford! Thank You!

I could go into more detail but I'll leave it short and sweet. In May I had work done on my furnace by MacLeods. I had to call and get them back twice for the same issue. Seemed to be resolved. Last week, after a summer of not using my heat, I had to turn my heat on again- exact same issue. I called on Tuesday and was told the boys are very busy and someone would call back, but for me to check if I had oil (obviously). To date I haven't heard anything and have since got another company in (same day from calling to them coming in) to fix the issue. So I would say if you want a company that stands by their work and takes pride in it, don't go with MacLeod's ????

My furnace was acting up during the cold snap this past February. I feared the worst so I called MacLeod's Plumbing and Heating and the burner mechanic took care of the issue for less than half what I thought it might cost!! Love MacLeod's - would recommend them to anyone!!

My mother was treated like dirt by their service team. Lied about her oil tank and tried to bully her into buying one she never needed off of them or they won’t deliver oil to her. So she went to another company bought a new tank from someone else in the spring (they did this in winter when my dad was away working) and was told the old tank was still in excellent condition. Crooks!

I was having trouble with my zoning in my house in Glace Bay that was reported to me by one of my tenants. I don’t live in the area anymore so I just made a call to Macleod’s plumbing and Fuel to have someone come to my property and investigate and fix the problem. They went in the same day as I called, identified the problem and had it fixed that day. No hassle and easy to deal with. Will defiantly be my go to for any further needs I may have.

I called at 8am when the store opened in the middle of a snowstorm and very high winds. I was told they didnt know if there was going to be trucks on the road. I ordered oil anyways. I ended up calling back and canceling and then called back and reordered. They told me it would most likely be the next day and I had myself set that I would be fine for the night. We had run out of oil through the night during the storm. Less then 20 minutes ago they showed up. I'm am forever grateful to them as they helped us from our pipes freezing and out family from freezing. Thank you again for coming out in the middle of a storm.
