Be careful when choosing this company they add time everywhere they can to increase $ amount. They moved my place for an active 4 hours but they charged me for 6 hours and 15 mins. It was in the contract that they would charge from moment they left the shop to moment they came back but they overcharged. They also disappeared with my things for 45 minutes. The girl that owns the place is VERY rude. She straight up hung up on me when I called to inquire why the bill was so much higher than it was supposed to be and why the movers disappeared with my things. Apparently this is normal behaviour (according to the owner). This isn’t my first time using a moving company but this is my first and last time using this one... rudeness is unacceptable. I read the other comments and am not surprised that the gentleman who had his furniture broken never got a refund... Lastly, the movers did not wear masks and we are in the red zone!!!

Very pleased the guys did awesome! WOW great job guys! I moved July 1st pretty hectic day and they called 30 mins in advance to let me know they were on their way. Very responsive and professional. They had to move the furniture from up a basement to a 3rd floor condo with lots of stairs. My furniture is very heavy wood and I was impressed with the level of strength these guys had. It wasn’t easy and I appreciated the level of care they had for my belongings. The 2 gentlemen’s (Marc & his partner) did very awesome & took very good care of our furniture with good communication and extremely polite. Very impressive business! Receive their information from a work college of mine who highly recommend them ???? I also very much highly recommend these guys! Thank you again for all your hard work & great service ????????

I do not write reviews, ever, but I just had to inform anyone reading this to honestly NOT call Select Moving. Rude, unprofessional, clumsy and maskless. First off, the day before the move they called and confirmed all the details correctly for our move. Fast forward to moving day and the movers showed up to address B before going to address A (please keep in mind that the two addresses are about 35-40 mins apart). I was waiting for them at address A while my wife, daughter and 6 week old baby were at address B and they entered address B without masks and put up a stink about wearing them. Not a great start to the day. -I caught one of the movers in my shed playing darts. -They walk at a snails pace -They complained the entire time. -One of the movers admitted he ate some of my daughters Easter candy. -They broke multiple items and a door hinge on the house we want to sell. -They nearly lost one of our cats that we had purposely locked in the washroom and mentioned not to enter. Which one of the movers completely disregarded and he later mentioned it wasn’t the first time he had lost a clients cat. -They burned precious time shrink wrapping multiple items that clearly did not need to be shrink wrapped or protected. Please save yourself the headache and do not call this company as their workers are careless.

The movers were courteous, everything seemed to be going well, so when they told us about the option to leave a tip, we did it with pleasure. Until we come into a room and realize that the bottom of one of our pieces of furniture was broken. The breakage was evident, the broken piece was dragging on the ground and the piece of furniture was leaning against the floor. We were obviously disappointed that they did not notify us before we left (and not before they were generously "tipped"), but we still wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and contacted them at this subject. After completed forms and photos sent, we are told that our request for compensation is refused, that we signed among the documents a sheet which indicated that they did not provide: neither melamine furniture, nor televisions or electrical appliances not packed in their original box, neither frames, nor lamps, nor mirrors, neither the contents of the boxes, nor those of the bags, nor "oversized" furniture ... In short, they did not provide much. To this, add a deductible of $ 250 if your property does not fall into one of these categories. I can take my share of responsibility for not having read the documents in full, but the fact that being hidden such damage by the movers during their presence at my home showed a great lack of transparency and we n 'surely we will not have left such a tip knowingly. When I confronted them on these facts, they wanted to offer me $ 40, I thought that asking them to reimburse us at least for the tip we left them was a reasonable request, but they found that that was too much in demand, and the director of the company simply hung up on me. Happy for the others who had good services, but if you do business with them, cross your fingers so that they do not break anything, you risk having less service following the payment and you could say goodbye to your furniture :( (Original) Je n’ai pas l’habitude d’écrire d’avis, mais nous avons fait affaire avec déménagement sélect pour notre déménagement. Les déménageurs étaient courtois, tout avait l’air de s’être bien déroulé, donc lorsqu’ils nous ont mentionné l’option de laisser un pourboire, nous l’avons fait avec plaisir. Jusqu’à ce que nous rentrons dans une chambre et nous nous rendons compte que le bas d’un de nos meubles était brisé. Le bris était évident, le morceau brisé traînait à même le sol et le meuble en soit était accoté sur le plancher. Nous étions évidemment déçus par le fait qu’ils ne nous en ont pas avisé avant de quitter (et pas avant qu’on les ait généreusement « tippé »), mais nous voulions quand même leur donner le bénéfice du doute et les avons contacté à ce sujet. Après formulaires remplis et photos envoyés, nous nous faisons dire que notre demande de dédommagement est refusée, que nous avons signé parmi les documents une feuille qui indiquait qu’ils n’assuraient: ni meubles en mélamine, ni téléviseurs ou appareils électriques non emballés dans leur boite d’origine, ni cadres, ni lampes, ni mirroirs, ni le contenu des boites, ni ceux des sacs, ni meuble « hors dimension »... Bref, ils n’assuraient pas grand chose. A cela, ajoutez un déductible de 250$ si votre bien ne tombe pas dans l’une de ces catégories. Je peux prendre ma part de responsabilité pour ne pas avoir lu les documents au complet, mais n’empêche que de se faire cacher un tel dommage par les déménageurs lors de leur présence chez moi faisait preuve d’un grand manque de transparence et nous n’aurons sûrement pas laissé un tel pourboire en connaissance de cause. Quand je les ai confronté sur ces faits, ils ont voulu m’offrir 40$, j’ai cru que de demander qu’ils nous remboursent au moins le pourboire qu’on leur a laissé était une demande raisonnable, mais ils ont trouvé que ça, c’était trop demandé, et le directeur de la compagnie m’a tout simplement raccroché au nez. Pas une fois je n’ai levé le ton, ni été impolie. Vraiment déçue du manque de professionnalisme démontré par cette compagnie. Contente pour les autres qui ont eu des bons services, mais si vous faîtes affaire avec eux, croisez-vous les doigts pour qu’ils ne vous brisent rien, vous risquez d’avoir un service moindre suite au paiement et vous pourriez dire adieu à votre meuble :(

They charge 30 minutes x2 to get to your address while it only takes 15 minutes from their garage to my home. Par contre, les déménageurs qu'ils nous ont assignés étaient toute autre chose que des professionnels. Irrespecteux, aggressifs et bavards. Un morceau du frame de la porte d'entrée de l'appartement a été brisé, il a fallu faire 2 voyages pour déménager un 3 1/2 car il n'avaient pas assez de couverture pour emballer les meubles et ça a pris 4 heures pour un voyage de 2.6 km. Ils facturent 30 minutes x2 pour se rendre à ton adresse alors que ça prend que 15 minutes de leur garage à chez moi. Grande déception
