(Translated) The move went really well in general ... almost ... Long distance moving between Gatineau and Trois-Rivières. The guys didn't work badly but quickly ... maybe a little too much. The stock was visibly stirred. First, I was told about a truck. It was never mentioned that it would be an enclosed trailer with a pickup. Second, some items were damaged like a valuable turntable. The moving company refuses any form of compensation because they did not make the boxes themselves. However, the table was well protected by several layers of bubble wrap in a box CLEARLY identified with the mention fragile in several places on the box. The manager refused any form of negotiation and blocked any argument with an end of refusal. In fact, it was only fair if she did not imply that I was wrongly packing my things or that I was dishonest in my claim. What was apparently a move that went well, becomes a move that will cost me several hundred dollars more ... it would have been enough for the movers to read the box properly and give it attention required. (Original) Le déménagement s'est super bien passé en géneral... presque... Déménagement longue distance entre Gatineau et Trois-Rivières. Les gars n'ont pas mal travaillé mais vite... peut-être un peu trop. Le stock s'est fait visiblement brassé. Premièrement, on me parlait d'un camion. Il n'a jamais été mentionné que ce serait une remorque fermée avec un pick-up. Deuxièmement, certains objets ont été abîmés comme une table tournante de valeur. La compagnie de déménagement refuse toute forme de compensation parce qu'ils n'ont pas fait les boîtes eux-mêmes. Pourtant la table était bien protégée par plusieurs couches de papiers bulles dans une boîte CLAIREMENT identifiée avec la mention fragile à plusieurs endroits sur la boîte. La responsable a refusé toute forme de négociation et à bloqué tout argument avec une fin de non recevoir. En fait, c'est tout juste si elle n'insinuait pas que j'avais mal emballer mes choses ou que j'étais malhonnête dans ma réclamation. Ce qui était en apparence un déménagement qui c'était bien passé, devient un déménagement qui me coûtera plusieurs centaines de dollars de plus... il n'aurait suffit que les déménageurs lisent la boite comme il faut et qui lui donne l'attention requise.

Long distance moving, change of province, and they hadn't come for a visit before to make sure (like all the other movers) that everything was ok for the move. Their assessment tool is a list that they ask us to complete online. (it is sometimes difficult to estimate the number of boxes, we don't know that the day before we are going to make 30! lol) The same morning, I saw a truck arriving pulling a trailler. Immediately I knew that was not enough to move a 4 bedroom house! I had to quickly find a solution when they announced that the trailler was full and that they were leaving without the rest of my stock !!! Also, all day long I felt in a hurry, and their explanations were that I had miscalculated the number of boxes I had and that they had a schedule to respect and arrange for me with the rest. Moving we do it once or twice in our life, and it is already quite stressful in itself, it is not necessary to add more .... They, it is their job to move people, they should Be more professional and responsive, prepare better, and enter solution mode instead of blaming ourselves on our backs. A loan bill of $ 4000 for such a badly done move! Also furniture was damaged (no refund possible because there is a deductible!). If you can go elsewhere, I recommend it. Déménagement longue distance, changement de province, et ils ne sont pas venu faire une visite avant pour s'assurer (comme tout les autres déménageur ) que tout etait ok pour le déménagement. Leur outil d'évalutation est une liste qu'ils nous demandent de remplir en ligne. (c'est parfois difficile d'estimer le nombre de boite , on ne sait pas que la veille on va en faire 30 ! lol) Le matin meme, j'ai vu arrivé un camion qui tirait un trailler. Tout de suite j'ai su que ce n'était pas assez pour déménager une maison de 4 chambres! J'ai du rapidement trouver une solution quand ils ont annnoncé que le trailler était plein et qu'eux partaient sans le reste de mon stock !!! Aussi, toute la journéee je me suis senti pressée, et leur explications étaient que j'avais mal calculé le nombre de boites que j'avais et qu'ils avaient une horaire a respecter et de m'arranger avec le reste. Déménager on le fait une fois ou deux dans notre vie, et c'est déja assez stressant en soit, il n'est pas nécéssaire d'en rajouter.... Eux, c'est leur métier de déménager des gens, ils devraient etre plus professionel et réactif, mieux se préparer, et entrer en mode solution au lieu de nous remettre toute la faute sur notre dos. Une facture de pret de 4000$ pour un déménagement aussi mal fait ! Aussi des meubles furent endomagés (aucun remboursement possible car il y a un déductible ! ). Si vous pouvez allez ailleur, je vous le conseil.
