My GF had an almost empty 2 bedroom apartment (we had moved most of it on our own - WITH NO appliances to be moved!!) - anyways they sent 2 young teenager looking boys to move the rest of the stuff and it took them 4 hours to have her move completed so $650 later!!!! - NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!!! If I didn't have to work I could of done a better job and more than likely in a lot less time then they took... GUESS WE'LL KNOW BETTER THAN PLAN A MOVE AFTER SAINT-JEAN BAPTISTE DAY IN QUEBEC NEXT TIME...

While the guys that do your move are friendly and competent, they take care of your items and provide good service (they are excluded from this review), there is a few things you should know before doing business with this company: 1. You will not be charge entirely only for the time they will work: the company has a policy of rounding up to the hours. Ex: my move took 4.5h yet I was charged for 5. At 126$/hour, that gets a little expensive for time not worked. (Of course that's on top of the 30 minutes they will charge you for the time they take to drive from their shop to your house - I live 1.5 km away from it - back and forth...another 126$) 2. The company will charge you 3% fee if you choose to pay by credit card. This ended being a little more than 25$ fee for my move. The excuse given to me: it's not us Sir, it's the credit card company that charges this amount. That's the price of doing business. Nobody has time to go take 700$ out of the bank machine the day of a move! People will pay by credit cards and should not be penalized for it. 3. Anything else you would like for your move (wardrobe boxes, mattress covers, etc) will be at your own expense. Oh, but you get 5 free boxes. Shop around.

Being overseas for work, I was informed that I had to move my fathers furniture out of his residence on short notice. After speaking with Karen she was able give me a reasonable quote and fit a move date within 2 days. Highly recommended.

I used bye bye twice this summer once to storage, once to a new place. The first time went well enough. The second time on Sept 1st the movers were sent to the wrong storage facility, even though they moved me here and i called the day before to confirm. I figured i wouldn't be charged for travel on account of it not being my fault (nearly $200 an hour with tax is their hourly rate). End of the move i was charged for their mistake, i tried calling multiple times with no answer. It should also be noted that they charge in half an hour increments, both my moves ended a few minutes after the hour with movers folding blankets and i was charged almost $200 on both moves for this. This is not counting the mistake i was charged for. I would steer clear unless you have no other choice. Updated : unless Bye Bye makes a habit of sending movers to the wrong location. It should be very easy to figure out who I am, and call me to talk about this. I have received no such phone call. This reply by the company was only made in an attempt to look good on google reviews. Look elsewhere for movers

Not my first time dealing with this company but first time writing a review. I recently had to move some items and they were extremely pleasant to deal with. Karen reviewed all of the costs with me over the phone and provided me with an approximative arrival time. Pat and Roger arrived on time and were extremely professional. They both had our best interests at mind and were extremely careful moving my stuff in order not to damage the house or furniture. Be aware that the company does not inform you of any terms and conditions of the contract. When my family needed to cancel our contract well in advance, the company refused giving back the deposit. Stay away from this company-You will save lots of headache pills.

-it took 3 movers 6 hours to move my stuff out of a 1 bedroom apt. (!!!) -my quote was for approx. $300, I was charged over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS when it was said and done, for a 1 bedroom apt. (!!!) -movers were careless with boxes marked fragile, constantly went for smoke breaks, asked to be fed, and were more concerned with chatting and socializing than moving my stuff -I cannot recommend this company but, based on my experience, I can recommend that they be avoided

Moving my stuff was long and they took a 20 min break on my time plus an extra guy that I didn t even see unload my stuff because they told I didn't have to go to storage yes I know I shouldn't of listen and show up..... I put my stuff in storage never told me that they was a fee for blankets added to the storage fee and then if I want to pick up stuff in storage like my summer tires I have to pay 25 dollars to have a guy watch me because its a common storage oh and don t the 3 percent they charge you for using your credit card by the way they even charged stuff on my credit card without my permission. I don t mind paying when I know up front what I m paying for the owner said he was surprised that they didn't mentioned it well I m a supervisor of over 40 staff member some have been around for years and sometimes they forget even me ....

Demenagement Bye Bye is in my opinion FIRST in its class. I called upon their services 5 times in less than 10 years. All teams were very polite, on time, respectful. One stop shopping as I would call it, one can purchase new boxes, tape, mattress covers etc at a very great price! Would recommend and contact them again!
