Silicrest Storage - we used it for outdoor storage. We used it for several years for our trailer-sailboat. Easy access, electronic gate control and the location was tucked behind a row of pines, which provided appreciated windbreak. Suggest use of tarps to manage pine needles. Good price, easy credit card payment and would use again.

I have been with the storage unit for little over two years now and what I like about it is they are secured facility and everything is in the country and hidden away. They are there when you need them and if you have any questions they are more than happy to help you out. The prices are very good. Sad to leave but happy that it was able to keep my storage belongings with them.

The hours of being able to get in to access the locker were amazing. The rates were great and easily billed and received our invoices every month electronically. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to give them a zero. Rob told me after 5 days that he wouldn't be able to deliver a storage container to me. Their website says that they can sometimes deliver in 24 hours. Now I have to try to find somewhere else and be able to start storing things in 2 days. Not happy about this at all. In response to your reply, you said you were waiting on hearing from another customer, did not give me any idea when you could deliver. Yes, I said I needed it Thurs. but you didn't say you could deliver Friday or Monday or Tuesday of next week. Your text said you were passing on the rental to me.

I have been with Silicrest Storage for 2 years I have been in a 10x10 unit but I have moved into a place and only require a smaller unit now I was able to call the owner and he was able to get me into a smaller unit right away allowing me to transfer all my stuff into that unit right away. The process of renting the container went as easy and smoothly as it should be. We negotiated terms by phone and text message and Rob showed up when he said he would with a shipping container in good condition that had no leaks. When I was finished with the container the pick up was problem-free with a little delay that was beyond his control and he communicated with me so I was informed about the situation and there was no problem on my end. The price is very reasonable and the terms are clear. This is economical for a commercial or residential customer to have access to secure and convenient temporary shelter/workspace during renovations or other purpose - provided you have suitable space. I would recommend Silicrest storage.

The price is great, lower than most storage facilities in southern Ontario. The units are in good condition. Some of the small-to-mid-size units are inside a building which makes it way easier to move things in and out of your unit without having to worry about rain or dampness. The manager is very friendly and easy to deal with, and he's quick to sort out any issues you might have. The only con is that it's kind of in the countryside which makes a difference if you're renting a truck to move your stuff in and out (extra kilometers on the truck). But if you're staying long term, it's definitely worth it because the monthly price is so good, and if you have your own vehicle to move your things, the distance shouldn't really be an issue.

For all who are looking for a reliable and safe place to store thier belongings, Silicrest Storage is about a 15-20 minute drive out of Kingston, down off off highway 15. I used this company for storing my belongings for about two years. They have secure card, gate entry and clean units of all different sizes. The prices were reasonable and you get more space for your dollar than you would in the city on Kingston. When it was time for me to remove my items, it was a simple and quick process and it was done and handled within a few days. I recommend this Storage unit company for all your storage needs. We rented a storage locker for our daughter's university furniture during the summer. I was looking for storage around Kingston and Silicrest had great reviews. The reviews were not lies. It is a little under a half hour drive our of downtown Kingston but well worth it. The price is great and service even better. Rob was very professional in setting up the rental and high on communication in every step of the process (which we did all though email). Rob lives very near the facility and I am not concerned about security while my daugher's belongings are there. He had even put some shipping palettes on the floor of the locker so everything was off of the concrete. Thanks!!

Storage prices are probably the lowest around. Very secure with gated access. I was able to access my trailer during the winter months as the facility is kept clear. I felt my trailer was left in good hands. Definitely will be parking my toy back here in the fall.

Located 25/30 min out of Kingston. A much better price than what I had found in Kingston when trying to find storage for our university student. We had to shorten rental due to unforseen circumstances and there was no problem cancelling (make sure to give 14 days notice in writing) There is a very well written contract when you sign up. Communication is by email or text. You pay once every four weeks rather than monthly so it’s easy to mark on the calendar and you get an email a week before rent payment is due. Clean unit 5x8 was perfect for university room queen mattress and box , desk, dresser, night table, computer chair and lots of other stuff with more room to spare. The building is behind a gated fence for security and you use key card to enter. Deposit for key card is returned when you move out .Thanks Rob!

I have used a variety of storage services from Silcrest over the past couple of years after relocating to this area. 8x20 secure unit was clean, dry and always accessible, even after heavy snow in winter. Outdoor space for boat was well drained and I was able to pull the boat out in early spring. When my father needed a storage container for a couple of months, all it took was a quick phone call to arrange same. Communication with the owner is via call/text, responses are very timely. Prices are reasonable and montgly payments easy to set up. Overall a very positive experience.

My experience with Silicrest Storage was mostly excellent, a couple of times things were arbitrarily parked in front of my 5th wheel. That took a little while to rectify and delayed my exit, other then that I would totally rent another spot there.

Had our furniture stored here for over a year. The unit was clean and water tight. Pallets were supplied to keep the contents off the floor. The security was top notch. A access card that was supplied allowed easy access to our unit.The management offered insurance for our contents at a very reasonable price. Would recommend this business as a very professional company.

He was particularly helpful 1 night as I was moving all my household and arriving 20 minutes after close. He let me in + asked that I would not be too late.
