I did not appreciate my experience with Hart to Hart on November 27, 2020 . I'd had to organize a GoFundMe for my move, so I was on a very tight budget where I had zero room for surprise expenses. I contacted them a month in advance detailing what I had to move (a bedroom, an entertainment room, kitchen, and a few other odds and ends), and Earl was brief but amicable telling me it would be 85$ an hour. I was surprised at the cost having had movers out of Fayetteville in the past move me from one side of Fort Smith to the other side under emergency conditions on 400$, but I was trying to save costs and go local, so I had them pen me in. I'd mentioned my cat as the last time I had movers help me one of the movers was allergic, and I wanted to avoid that difficulty again. I expected the move to take two to three hours as I genuinely only had three rooms worth of belongings, so I budgeted 300$. Moving day came and I'd had everything in boxes ready to go in the front room, save some furniture and a few boxes upstairs. Earl was late, but called ahead to let me know. The truck billowed with white smoke. They began taking things out, and after a short bit it became known that sure enough the single mover Earl brought along was allergic to cats and was relatively incapacitated. I left a few things behind as my cat spent a lot of time on those pieces of furniture, and had to drop by to get them the following day. After an hour and a half the van was loaded, and we were headed over to the new place. The new place was on the 2nd floor; I had a bad feeling this was going into the third hour. Once we got there they unloaded everything, however the one allergic to cats was not able to help much. At times they mocked how clients would box their own stuff, referring to how I boxed up items to take advantage of their hand carts. In the end they took 4hrs; over budget on its own. They informed me of other charges that were never discussed previously. I'd just presumed they were folded into the hourly charge. The total came to 455$, far above the 300$ I'd had available. He said 85$/hr and a 35$ additional charge (which totals 375$, not 455$ mind you). Not knowing what to do Earl offered to accept the 300$ for now, and collect the rest later. I didn't have another choice in the matter. A few weeks later a rep from Hart to Hart called about collecting the rest, and I tried to explain to her my concerns, however she would cut me off with a rebuttal. She said if I knew I only had 300$ that after 3hrs I should have told them to stop. Three hours in the van was still half full of my belongings; how in the world does that even begin to make sense? She constantly brought up her own situation, and how she got in trouble regarding my move. She kept talking about how she was trying to help me, because the owner would prosecute for theft of service. I asked if I could speak to the owner, but was denied. I agreed to have her come over later that evening to collect the rest, and she joked about 'not having to fill out all of that paperwork.' I wholeheartedly do not recommend Hart to Hart as while they certainly got the job done it was not a pleasant experience. I feel taken advantage of despite taking every measure to have the move be as quick and economical as possible. I discussed my belongings and concerns in advance, and the cost was only ever mentioned to me as 85$/hr. I warned of cat allergy issues, and wound up having a mover relatively incapacitated. I had most everything ready and waiting in the front room at the front door ready to load in to the van that was literally parked right outside my front door, and still that portion took far longer than imagined. How I packed everything was openly mocked. I was forthright with Hart to Hart from the beginning. In return while they weren't dishonest they certainly weren't transparent about their pricing, and their rep was more concerned with her own situation than hearing mine. I will never look to their company for services again.

I used this company to move my dad from an apartment to an assisted living facility. It was a wonderful experience!! They were able to schedule us within 2 days of the move date. They arrive on time. They loaded all the furniture and boxes very fast! Everything was moved with great care. The two men working were very kind and sweet to my dad. They had him moved in and all the furniture put to place for us within 2 hours. They were very reasonably priced too! Couldn't be happier with our experience! I will definitely use this company again!

The worst company to deal with!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They WILL damage your belongings and home and never answer the phone to acknowledge the damage. They have horrible customer service and just don't care. I never leave bad reviews but the experience was bad enough that others should be warned...

Moved from Texas to Arkensas. Booked with Anytime moving showed up but wanted to change the contract from 3 people to 2 with same price and got upset when I Questioned it and left. Had to find someone right away. Called Heart to Heart moving company and they showed up right away. Very nice people and very Professional. Worked really fast and did not waste time. We’re very careful with all Furniture. Thank you guys you saved us big time!!!!

The worse moving experience I've ever had. Took them 8 hours to move 1 king size bed room set, dining room set, several boxes of clothes and some outdoor equipment with 3 movers at $115 an hour to my storage unit. Complained that my furniture was yo heavy for them. 2 of the 3 movers it was literally their first day on the job and the senior guy was teaching them while moving my things. Mind you the day before, 2 older gentlemen from a contracted service provided to me moved my entire house of things and assembled my furniture in 5 hours. I do not recommend anyone use them because rhey will take advantage of you, your time, and your $$$

After promising to show up between noon and 3, Hart to Hart simply abandoned my mother by not showing up, calling her, answering her calls, or calling her back. She is an 80-year-old grieving widow who was desperate because she got stood up by Anytime Movers of Ft Smith. I then called them myself to schedule the move and never heard from them, even after following up. If you want yourself and your loved ones to be treated like dirt in a time of need, Hart to Hart Moving is for you.

I used Hart to Hart a couple of months ago. They were fast and careful nothing was damaged they put everything exactly where I wanted the price was fair and the work was great I recommend them if you want a fadt safe move hire these guys

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE company!!! Some clients of mine hired this company and this is what happened. Not only did they show up 2 hours late, but they damaged two houses (ruined hardwood floors at the furniture pickup location and destroyed textured walls at the drop-off location) during the move and STOLE VERY EXPENSIVE ITEMS while the two Hart to Hart workers were at the first location. To make it even worse, the owner of the company will not even address the situation. He won't even give a call back. Called everyday for a week since this occurred with no response at all. Even went by the location of business and the doors were locked with no answer to knocking. His secretary finally said to just call the police...basically the owner could careless. The secretary did not even seem surprised. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

My mom used this moving company. Damage to furniture. The 1 st house they dropped one of her antiques down the stairs causing good damage. The owner doesn't care and she finally got a receipt in the mail for the move. No dates and signatures on it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

One of the owners is a friend of the family. I love that Man, however, I was quoted a price (what does a quote mean to you?) after the work was completed I was told it was going to be almost $500.00 more than what I quoted. The manager tried to say that we didn't tell him about the stuff in the attic, not only did we tell him, but we warned him how much was up there and they needed to start early. The workers would show up late in the morning and complain about being hot. They broke my furniture and thought that gluing it was just ok. Two of the three workers were extremely rude to my daughter and one tried to be rude to me, but right then his boss showed up and he changed his tune (Earl -- "this is above my pay grade"). Like I said at the beginning of this review, I love the original owner of this company, but since he has mostly retired, I would not use this company to change a flat on a bicycle, let alone move anything of mine again. They do not stand behind their quotes and they are not careful with your furniture. The management is horrible and the secretary they have is very argumentative.

Usually I really look into these reviews before hiring someone to do a job or before going somewhere, but today I didn’t have time to care about stars or reviews...After my experience with hart to hart today I will be Rethinking my process of elimination I called them this afternoon as I needed to be moved out of my apartment by tonight (thinking I could get a prorate and stay for a couple more days but was denied) They showed up two hours after my last minute phone call , all of the movers in great spirits, they were all very friendly and I can say that is not some thing I would be while moving as much heavy furniture as I had from the second floor of an apartment.. They had my entire house loaded up in under an hour((3 guys moved my stuff out of the apartment and 2 unloaded everything at the storage unit)!once we got to my storage unit I had to go 5 miles away to Walmart to get a lock while they were unloading by the time I got back they were waiting on me As their job was done!! And don’t say they just stuck around to be paid because they had already been paid they simply knew I would be back quickly and didn’t want to leave my stuff unattended without a lock... I will definitely be requesting RAHMEL AND GREG when my stuff is being moved from the storage unit to my new apartment SERIOUSLY DONT LET. THESE BAD REVIEWS TURN YOU OFF FROM USING THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE WAYYYYY MORE THAN 3 STAR WORTHY
