The front of house and Ron were great. However, there was little care in wrapping and protecting or my furniture when taken it out of the storage garages. A brand new custom made piece of furniture has a large chunk of the bottom of the leg broken off. There was lots of laughing and joking around with the young men who were doing the carrying. This piece was brand new and still saran wrapped from the Amish Outlet store. But, they did not protect if with properly with furniture pads, and the leg of the never used sofa was broken. I will have to find a master carpernter/furniture builder to repair the leg. I found scratches and things on other furniture where is was not wrapped and padded properly either. So, if you hire them stay on them and demand they Care for your property as if it were their own.

The office staff were so informative, attentive and knowledgable for my out of state move. They answered emails, phone calls and responded quickly. I love their emails sent as it got closer to moving date to help prep and organize the move. The only glitch was the drivers were 4 hours late on moving day, which put a lot of stress on me since this was an out of state move. Once they arrived, they were very quick and effective in getting everything on the truck. Once at the destination, they called in more helpers and were able to get the truck unloaded quickly. I was very impressed in their determination to get my rather large library bookcases up through the balcony entrance (second floor) and into my home. I would recommend them and use them again.

When we bought our house 4 years ago, both sets of parents loaded up moving trucks and filled our house and basement to the brim. We always knew selling and moving would be a challenge on our own. Wayfinder was happy to step in and they were exceptional throughout the whole process. They came with a 4 person crew and packed up 3 generations worth of stuff in only 2 days. From the initial estimate to the final item being offloaded from the truck, the service provided by Wayfinder was exemplary. We appreciated a number of things: the estimate was not binding and we were charged fairly based on the weight of our belongings. No guessing. This proved to be significantly less that 2 other moving companies we asked to provide estimates. The moving personnel arrived when scheduled to load-, and later, unload the trucks. The movers were careful and respectful of our things, and handled them appropriately. We would definitely use them again should we ever move again... perish the thought!

I can’t say enough about this company- the crew we had today KILLED IT! Awesome communication from initial booking all the way to moving day- estimated arrival time was 8:30am and they pulled up right on the dot. About 5-6 guys jumped out of the truck and got right to work. They wrapped up the couches, entertainment center and even went as far as taking our bed apart for us (and putting it back together at our new house!) I can’t say how impressed me and my husband were with this company today, they made our move super easy, took literally anything and everything we needed to be moved. They were done with the entire job within 5 hours. I know a lot of people don’t have good experiences with movers but this company is the REAL DEAL! Their online estimate took was convenient, especially when trying to limit people in our apartment while pregnant during Covid. Customer service was on point. So far so good. Enter moving day. I own antique furniture that is very precious to me (including some oversized pieces). As such, I was very concerned that the furniture be carefully moved, so as not to nick or damage the furniture. I was also concerned that the woodwork and doors in my old and new houses not be damaged. I purchased the additional coverage to protect myself, but my goal was not to have to use it. Well when Matt and his team arrived, they immediately allayed my fears. We did a walkthrough of the house and identified all of the items to be moved. Matt assured me that they would be very protective of my furniture, and they were. All items were moved without any incidents at all. No damage to my furniture, nor to the woodwork at either house. After all of the furniture was placed in my new home, they even offered to help me make a few minor rearrangements to get everything just right. But the wayfinder moving team solved problems as they came up and kept a positive attitude the whole way through. We sold our NY home last October. Wayfinder picked up our household goods and stored them in their climate controlled warehouse for the past 6 months. When we found our new home in Ohio, we scheduled the delivery. Wayfinder was extremely flexible and worked with us so that our move was convenient and worry free. We were lucky and were assigned the same moving crew who had worked with us on the first half of this project. Jim, Ron and Kevin arrived on time and ready to work. I have nothing but respect for the professionalism and work ethic of these guys. It was a huge move and these three guys didn’t stop until we were moved in and happy. Would I recommend Wayfinder? Absolutely! I imagine that all of their moving team is top notch. But if you’re lucky enough to get Jim, Ron and Kevin, you are going to be very happy.

Our parents had been in the same house for 55 years. They were going to move 400 miles away to be away from Western New York weather. I got quotes from a couple different companies, but Wayfinder stuck out. For price, and for the "value added" services that can't be measured. The homeowner insurance for our parent's policy was pretty comprehensive - so we were going to opt away from getting insurance through Bekin. Dale from Wayfinder asked us to confirm if all perils were covered - including if a Bekin representative accidentally damaged the contents. He was spot on - that specific peril wasn't covered- so we decided to add the insurance coverage. We never needed it - these guys were so careful, and everything arrived in great shape. A team of 4 guys came to moving day in Jamestown and each one was as nice as the next. One guy stayed on the truck to organize each box and item as it came onto the truck, one guy took care in itemizing each item as it was loaded, and two guys carried the stuff into the truck. From the basement, from the first floor, and from the second floor. No nicked corners, no problems. They understood that they weren't just moving "stuff". They were moving a life. They helped us settle up some of the remaining furniture into place since the full contents weren't being moved. I wish I could remember each of their names. I think Ron remained on the truck, and James did the diligent inventory work, but I may be wrong. They were all so kind. It was an emotional day for us all, and they were compassionate and professional. Brian, our driver, was there in Jamestown, and right on time at the designated time in Virginia. He was professional, and helpful. He brought Jose for the unloading part in Virginia. What a sweet man he was. Both Brian and Jose went out of their way to indulge all my - "this goes in my van" - and - "please take this from my van and bring it inside" and efficiently get everything off the truck and into the apartment. I never felt rushed as I went through the checklist and and made sure each box/item was accounted for. Back to Jose - not only did he notice that the bed would likely slide because it would be on hardwood floors - he recommended that we get little feet for the legs of the bed - but he noticed that one of the workers felt uncomfortable. She was leaving her shift at the facility - and the moving truck was near her car. She had plenty of room. But he asked if he could help - he stopped what he was doing - and he got her keys - and backed her car out of her parking spot -and away from the moving truck. So incredibly thoughtful. I would decidedly use them again. They get it.

I have worked with 6 plus moving companies over the years, dealing with them was one of the Worst experiences of my Life. This has jeopardized my health. So many problems, and damage to my Belongings/Antiques too numerous to count. Broke my Marble top on a dresser in half, broke spikes off of my $1,600. Oak mantel. Mice must have been in their padding, chewed up the felt in my Dude locking desk. I have four pages of damage, I thought of, off the top of my head. Also inappropriate, abusive, unprofessional behavior.This was a 600 mile move. In the past, I had a 2,000 mile move with one or two items minimally damaged. It was a comparable sized load. This move with Bekins/Wayfinder was terrible some of the workers, Brian, John, and Andre’ especially were so arrogant, dismissive, and down right rude. Others to, I don’t know their names. I got about three hours of work out of them daily, with the travel time, cigarettes, and Lunch breaks. At the end, they told me they weren’t going to bring the rest of my belongings in storage. Leaving half the load 600 miles away. They dropped over 40 cigarette butts all over my lawn, had a water fight in my kitchen, packed my maps , my cats chemo medicine, money belt, all of my cats food. The list goes on, and on.I was told one day, they would be there at 8:30, they came at 10:30, another day at 10:30, they arrived at 8:30. I’m sure I was overcharged. I had daily phone calls into Dale, nothing changed. Items I told them not to touch, jewelry, gift cards etc, were dumped into boxes. It took me weeks to find items. Boxes for storage were tagged for my new apt, and visa versa. One box had 3 stickers on it. In a rush Dale talked me into a 1,000. Deductible
