Absolutely and terribly unprofessional. My mother scheduled a small move for our family for July 9th and got MULTIPLE confirmations on it as well. The day of the move comes and absolutely no one shows up at all the first 3 hours after we were scheduled from 10-11am. We try to get a hold of them through phone call, through text, and no answer until 3pm that day! Absolutely disgusting professionalism, how dare you actually call yourself a moving service company when you don’t actually follow through on moves that you schedule?

Needed a couch lifted onto a second floor balcony to get it into my condo. Found this out as it was being delivered. I *also* found out that the furniture company didn't do lifts. Several calls to movers later (none of which were available for a month), I called Helping Hands who told me they'd be at my condo within the hour. Not to sound corny but they really saved the day for me. Would absolutely recommend!

Helping hands is the best local moving company I have ever seen. They moved me from Amherst NY to Niagara Falls NY. The two guys, Vlad and the other Young man, I can't remember his name, please forgive me, are the nicest guys I have ever met. Didn't have a complicated move, but an involved one, going from a 2nd story to a 2nd AND 3rd story. A 2 man crew moved about 12 large pieces in 2 hours.Extremely professional, even came early, friendly, made us aware at all times of everything, and did everything we asked and more. I just used Helping Hands Movers for the second time and I was once again very happy with the service. Although they got a bit of a late start, they compensated me for the delay, without me asking. The guys were polite and respectful to me and my property. Both times, I was impressed by how they communicated with one another so that they can move awkward or heavy objects safely and efficiently. The owner is always commending his team and teaching them along the way. I think that is admirable. My move was completed quickly with zero damage to my items. If you are looking for reliable, knowledgeable, careful movers, these guys are it! I was so worried about hiring people to come load a 26 foot moving truck and I came across this company, they were on time, careful, truly know how to pack a truck! There was no air pockets! We had 5 tv's, countless glass tables, China cabinet, glass clocks, we were driving the truck from buffalo to Indiana, the temperature was -3 ! They showed up early and worked quickly! They had 4 guys with them, completely loaded that truck from top to bottom in 3 hours! Every single item made it! No breakage! And our ride was rough at times!!! I highly recommend!!!!! You will not be disappointed! Thank you so much Helping Hands!!!!

Completely unprofessional. I was having difficulty finding a mover for a small move and made an appointment by text. They sent pricing guidelines and I I sent specifics and waited for confirmation. After asking for one the day before the scheduled move , I got what seemed like a canned response that the team was looking forward to serving. I was wary that I no one ever contacted me by phone but the good reviews gave me comfort. Next time I will trust my gut. They never showed up.There was no response to texts. No one answered the phone or responded to my message. Time was of essence as buyers would be moving in. Luckily, a fabulous company took pity and moved items at the next day. DO NOT USE.

If I could write zero stars I would! I had a set date and time for a move from my sold home. They never showed up! I contacted them and basically nothing. Please please do not even consider calling them for a quote. I close on my house this Friday and was fortunately able to find a reputable moving company to take over for this very disappointing company. PLEASE DO NOT USE!!

I couldn’t have been happier with the way the move went thanks to these guys! A crew of four showed up - they called thirty minutes before arrival. They worked incredibly hard and fast, disassembling some furniture when necessary and reassembling at the new location. They asked questions, were incredibly polite - “sir”, ma’am”, “please”, “thank you”. They were careful with our items and walls and doorways. Highly recommend.

After I requested their svs he gave the ok for our moving date & requested from me a list of items that I sent over. Terrible service!! Gave me a quote and time that I agreed to, and later that evening texted me, changing the time which was fine. The next day I received a text to list items that were included in the move, after which I received a text suggesting I get a uhaul. Now that was done 3 hours before the scheduled moving time. I don't usually write reviews, this is my first one ever actually but I felt it was necessary because it was honestly the best service i have ever received. They were professional and friendly came with plenty of equipment to make sure all of my stuff was stored the right way. There were 2 men who did the move and it was not an easy one. The moved my entire apartment from the 3rd floor of my building to a storage unit, which was the top unit, so they moved large pieces of furniture up a narrow movable stair case to fit in the unit. Then the rest of my stuff (about 20 heavy boxes and a dresser) to my new apartment which was on the top floor of my new building, 5 flights of stairs up. They went over the 2 hours because the move was so extensive by a half hour and did not ask for more money or even mention it, they said they would get the job done no matter what.They did the entire move without damaging a thing and with a smile on the entire time. I would absolutely recommend this business and will be using them again. For a stress free job you would use them too. AMAZING job!!

I would HIGHLY recommend Brandon and his crew at Helping Hands Movers for several reasons. They were flexible with moving dates when my schedule required a last minute change. They were VERY reasonably priced. They were professional, friendly and efficient, reassuring me as I was pretty stressed; looked at my stuff in my house before the move to get an idea of how big items could be safely moved (heavy antique oak side board and china cabinet were unscathed!), and even helped me put big items to the curb and loaded my heavy old tube TV into my car. They made room in the truck for more boxes and furniture than we originally had planned. They really went the extra mile...literally...moved me to Syracuse into an apartment on the 3rd floor on a VERY hot day! They set up and placed furniture in the apartment where I wanted it. I gave their business card to my realtor at Howard Hanna so I hope they get plenty of referrals! I am very grateful to these guys! 10 stars!

When we had to change our moving date because we simply weren’t ready, they didn’t give us a hard time at all! They moved furniture between rooms, they helped us pack (for additional fee, but so helpful nonetheless), were easy to work with, kind and got the job done without hassle! Brandon visited us to give us an estimate several days before our scheduled move. He said a three man crew would be there at 10 AM on moving day. Instead he called us at 9:30 AM on moving day to tell us his truck was broken down but that a mechanic was on the way. He called back again to tell us the mechanic couldn't repair the truck and that he would get a rental truck. He called a third time to tell us that he couldn't get a rental truck because U-Haul claimed he owed them $200 and they wouldn't rent a truck to him until he paid it. At this point, he told us we should hire another mover. When we offered to rent the truck ourselves, he said his moving crew already had abandoned him. Luckily, the good guys at JPK Movers came to our rescue the same day!

I got nervous that I would be without movers the day of moving, especially after reading their latest reviews. So I asked for the deposit back, no reply. I would stay away.

After calling other movers 2 months in advance who were unwilling to book our move until we received a certificate of occupancy, we found Helping Hands at the Better Business Bureau. On the day of our move they were efficient, courteous and organized. We were extremely impressed with the communication and positive team work between the six workers that came for the move. All were pleasant and very polite and worked well together. We would definitely use this company again in the future for any move. They work on an hourly rate that is reasonable and were hustling the entire time. Nice work!

Brandon& his guys did a move for us from Lancaster to Akron. Everything went very smooth, actually better than expected. Everything about the move was very professional including the fact that they were very friendly and didn't mind placing our entire house of furniture exactly where we wanted it. Not only were his prices lower than the competition we called but he flexed the moving day with us because we had a last minute schedule change. This moving company is unprofessional and not to be trusted. I confirmed a moving date and sent a deposit to secure the date. Not only did this company not show up, I had my daughter call so my number would not pop up and he answered quickly. He then tells me he never booked this move. I spoke to this boy on the phone confirming the move early in the week. He then stated he was on an out of town move. I would not recommend this company to move my dog crate!!

I'm so glad I found these guys! I originally found them on a google search for someone near me for a small job. Not only did they do a terrific job, they were the nicest, friendliest and most courteous young men that I've found in the service industry. They were able to pick up an extremely heavy tool chest (over 300 lbs) on short notice and take it into the basement. Four young men showed up to do the job. It was heavy and a tight fit. Great job, quick response, and reasonably priced. I will be calling them again, and I highly recommend them!

I am from out of state work for premium moving . I had a move here and helping hands came last min to help me since my guy got hurt. I called them the night before and they communicated with me well the next morning when they were in route to my move. Really good guys and great movers ! RUN from this business! We hired them to load a 26 foot box truck. We provided moving blankets and straps to tie down our belongings. They didn't use half of them. Totes and boxes marked with red "fragile" stickers on every side were placed on the bottom of the truck and 4-6 totes of heavy boxes piled on top of them! More than half of our items were broken or damaged. Our industrial totes were destroyed, furniture scratched up and broken.My daughter's keyboard was thrown at the bottom of the truck with things piled on top of it. The movers who unloaded at our new home signed statements regarding how poorly the truck was loaded. They thought we had done it ourselves because they couldn't understand how professional movers had done it. The owner said he advised us not to use the straps we had which is not true. He said we cannot file with his insurance because he isn't responsible for any of it after they load the truck. We'll be filing with the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and find reliable movers who know what they're doing.

I had Helping Hands move a very large tube TV out of my basement to my car for recycling. They were efficient and patient while I had to take things out of the car to lower the seats because I didn’t measure it and they had to lay it down. Polite guys too! Would definitely recommend them and use them again if needed!
