He came and gave a quote before hand, which was very helpful and professional. Excellent service...we needed a storage solution on very short notice for our Kitchen renovation and did not want to use cardboard boxes for environmental reasons. We discovered Major Move and they were able to deliver what we needed the following day (a Sunday). Rented moving boxes from these guys for a July move (did not use their moving service). Great pricing, great options, sturdy boxes AND THE BEST PART OF ALL: the dolly that fits the boxes perfectly and moves them like a DREAM. Only small downside - they picked up the boxes a day later than we had scheduled due to an error on their end. They did their best to make it right and picked it up on our schedule the next day. Delivery guys were great, will definitely use them again when we inevitably move again!

These have to be the best movers in the city. They were extremely professional and happy to be working. I had 5 movers and Andrew gave them to me for the price of 4 and we moved on a Sunday. A lot of other movers wouldn't even do this and I had heard the horror stories from other companies of all these extra charges and taking their time as they are paid by the hour. Andrew and his team moved my entire house in around 5 hrs and came in under budget as well! On top of this after the day was done they even moved my play structure from my backyard which was a massive piece with no hassles. Highly reccommend this company you cant go wrong and given the research done prior to this I'd have to say they are probably the best amongst a small pool of great movers in the city. Don't think twice if you're considering other movers, these guys are the real deal. Cheers

I found Major Move after searching Reddit for competitors to Frogbox. Once I visited their site and connected with Andrew it seemed the obvious choice. Andrew quickly scheduled an appointment to give me an estimate, not something most movers do! I was so impressed with this experience I recommended them to a co worker who was also planning to move. Delivery of the boxes with the carts to roll them around on was smooth. It was much easier to back not needing to build boxes and rolling them around our apartment made it an easy task. Day of the move was perfect. 4 gentleman showed up 10 minutes ahead of schedule, asked for a tour with instructions on what is moving then got to work. They made quick work of our old place and unloaded even quicker at our new one. They took the care to setup the furniture in each room, asking how we would like it arranged. Each of the gentleman were very friendly and professional. This company is an easy recommendation for someone looking for an easy move.

If you are moving and want peace of mind, call them. Their packages consider even the minimal detail that when you are packing you are glad they included it. They supplied us with everything we needed and more and their pricing was unbeatable. Fr the same amount we quoted their competitors, they included wardrobe boxes, plates boxes, dollies, everything! Andrew was also super accommodating and willing to help. The boxes provided were brand new and super clean. Would definitely recommend them to everyone moving willing to forget about the hassle of dealing with stinky, flimsy cardboard boxes!

The entire experience from order to delivery, using the equipment to pickup was phenomenal. To begin with, the web site makes ordering a breeze. Photos of the products you are renting or buying are the actual product, not a similar but different product like other companies would display. We were very happy to find that the equipment we ordered was exactly as pictured, especially since I wanted a heavy duty hand truck that could take a substantial load. No account is needed to complete the order, no fussing with passwords and providing unnecessary information. A detailed confirmation of the inventory, drop-off and pickup times was delivered to our email. We rented 2 convertible hand trucks, two heavy duty carts and some other items. Everything was delivered to our residence and was in perfect working condition - either the equipment was brand new or is very well maintained. The owner tells me it is just well maintained. If that is the case then they really do a great job in the upkeep of their rental equipment. Everything felt very sturdy and the wheels made them glide with little effort. Their rental prices are very good as well especially since it included free delivery and pickup. I would recommend Major Move to anyone in need of good moving equipment that comes along with great customer service to boot. I am very satisfied with the entire experience will use Major Move again.

Major Move moved us out and into our home (and a storage locker in between) for a major renovation and were amazing. They were highly professional, while being extremely friendly. They were always on time, cared for our belongings and our home like they were their own. They provided great advice on securing a good storage locker, wrapped our furniture well and packed it all into a locker with amazing efficiency. Moving back in was a breeze because while everything was in a locker for just over a year, it was protected enough to simply unwrap and enjoy. Highly recommended!

Very reliable and on time with extreme care of your valuable and fragile belongings via innovative moving solutions for things like TV, dishes, suits and dresses,...etc. The cherry on top is that they’re environmentally friendly by using reusable boxes that they drop off at your place prior to the moving day so you can pack at your own pace then they will pick it up whenever you’re done unpacking. Their bins are top notch, great sizing, comes with dollies, and the glassware and dinnerware bins are perfect for packing a kitchen. The cost and timing was spot on for the quote. You couldn't ask for a better moving company. Major Move drops the boxes off to you, and then picks them up at then new address. They are very flexiable with times and days to drop off and pick up- so it's easy to schedule it in with a busy move. Hired Major Move to help with my move into my new home. The team was on time, fast, efficient, and very friendly. They showed extra care when moving large and heavy items and utilized blankets to soften the inevitable bump of walls. There were a few scuffs, which are unavoidable for any move, but the team brought them to my attention immediately and took responsibility it. Upon completion, I spoke to Andrew and a fee concession was offered due to the small damage. There were no hidden fees. I'd definitely hire them again and would recommend their services to anyone. We're so happy we used Major Move! The plastic dish boxes and glass boxes on top of the standard sizes made everything so simple and efficient. We saved so much time wrapping our breakables in newsprint. They also have padded bags for your flat screen tv to ensure it's well protected in transit. We decided to store some of our boxes with Major Move as well and the prices are very reasonable in comparison to the regular storage we were previously paying for. I can't say enough positive things about how wonderful Andrew and his team were! But here were some of my favorite things: * The company is more affordable than the majority of others we considered. What's more, they actually came in UNDER their quote on moving day, and lowered the price for us accordingly. * With other moving companies in the past, I have felt constantly on edge: worried that they would take advantage of us, worried that they would be careless with our stuff, etc. Andrew and his team were the opposite: they were SO kind, genuine, friendly, open, and careful! They were professional and efficient, and also truly enjoyable to be around on the day of the move. All of the movers were genuinely lovely people and did a fantastic job wrapping, protecting, and moving our furniture and other belongings. * Their plastic moving boxes are a godsend. You don't have to spend a zillion hours assembling and then breaking down a ton of cardboard, and don't produce all that trash. Their kitchen boxes were especially great - rather than taking countless hours to individually wrap each cup, plate, etc., we just placed them- unwrapped! - directly into the boxes (which have special slots) and they came out unscathed. In short, I would highly, highly recommend Major Move!

What can I say about Major Move. Phenomenal!!!!!! Best and quickest service around. We've had a great experience with Major Move. My wife ordered through Wag Jag for a really good price. Unfortunately, we ended up needing more boxes than the package ordered came with. No problem: a quick phone call and before we knew it, extra boxes were delivered. They also gave us a deal on renting for a few extra days that we needed for unpacking. All in all excellent value and great folks to deal with.

What a great company! I will never use cardboard boxes to pack any more. These plastic bins are the perfect size, some even have dividers for your glasses/ plates. The time I saved was well worth the cost, most efficient move ever! They were very flexible with the time frame needed to rent the bins and picked them up the day I was done. Highly recommended !!!

Andrew and his crew at major move were amazing. From the very first contact his customer service was excellent. He really understands how stressful moving can be for some people and he made my life a million times easier. He was busy but always accommodating and followed up on commucation. He has upfront pricing and expertise . His moving rates are on par to other companies but they were done much quicker using his bin system , saving my family money. The bins and wardrobes came in clean conditions and were even discounted for us. He provided all the supplies like tape and bubble wrap. It was one stop shopping. Trust him and his bin system. My husband was skeptical that we needed as many bins as Andrew had suggested but we filled them all and could have used more. My place was cleared out in no time using his system. Well before the estimate. His crew can hustle and I packed some really heavy things that they had to take up 4 flights in a narrow townhouse stairwell. Such polite and hard working young men. They were pros that took extra steps with blankets and shrink wrap to keep everything clean and damage free. This was easily the best moving experience in my life and worth every penny and then some. I highly recommend using Major Move, you will be so impressed just as we were. I will never go back to cardboard boxes again.

Top of the line customer service, very flexible with the days needed for the rental, as we sort of needed to adjust our rental days on the fly. We recently purchased a new home and with Major Move, it was the easiest move! We won't ever go back to using cardboard boxes again! The large bins were the perfect size, easy to move, and clean! The wardrobe boxes were perfect and very easy to assemble and move! The dish boxes kept our fragile dishes safe. Andrew was amazing to work with and always in communication when needed. We were really happy with Major Move. It was easy to specify the drop off and pick up of equipment, which was really convenient. The amount of extras they provide (moving blankets, tape, packing material) made it an easy decision to go with them. I have to say that the thing that really sold us were the specialty containers, particularly the dish, cup and wardrobe ones. I highly recommend them and whenever we need to move again, we won't hesitate to use them again.

Best moving experience I’ve had. We recently completed a 1 bedroom with den move from downtown Toronto to North York. Andrew and the moving team were professional, punctual and dedicated to making our move a success. Pricing was transparent from the start which made it easy to estimate. Andrew personally came to our condo to check out our unit and items to be moved prior to giving a quote and recommending the right amount of supplies for our move. We leveraged the rent bins and moving services, with 3 guys doing the moving everything was complete in less time than quoted and our total cost was less than estimated. All items were secured and protected appropriately during travel.
