I have use a few other movers in the past and had alot of missing stuff and broken stuff but with we haul cheap everything arrived safe and the guys were great very nice and man oh man the guy driving the truck had mad driving skills wow i couldnt believe he got the huge truck in a tiny little place with out effing anything up will use these guys again if i have to move hands down best movers in town

We just completed our first move with these guys. We needed several photocopiers moved from different locations with stairs involved and timelines to meet. These guys nailed it!! Will be using them every time now for future moves. Great people, great professionalism...just great!

BEWARE! We hired these guys to move some furniture and take some stuff to the dump. In total they did about 90 min worth of work. They didn't need a moving truck (which they brought) for the furniture as it was moving from one space on the property to another. Then they had to go and pick up a different truck to haul the garbage. They charged (including $35 dump fee), $457.00. That works out to almost $300 per hour. I would say that was completely unreasonable for what was fairly light work.. When we complained to the owner we were told we could have a $40 refund. Still $382 for 90 min of work, unreasonable.

I got the team of three for a two bedroom apartment move last month. Great experience. Easy booking and discussing details over the phone. The team did a great job on moving day. Fiendly staff, arrived just on time, carefully wrapped items that required special care and worked fast and efficiently picking up and bringing everything to our new place in 3 hours. No hidden fees or nasty surprises. Definitely recommend. Thank you guys ????

When our elderly sister grew ill and confused, we knew we had to move her out of her home of 30 years and get the house ready to sell. Our realtor offered three haulers that had been highly recommended by her colleagues. Luckily, I reached Kim by telephone on the first call, and knew from her organized manner and great sense of humour we were destined to work together! Kim and her life and business partner, Damiao, run a great business dedicated to service, respect, efficiency, and reasonable costs. It is clear that they treat their employees like they treat their customers; you will not find more courteous, thoughtful, genuine people out there. Damiao first came out and looked at the place, engaging me in caring banter about the circumstances for the hauling and moving of some furniture to an assisted living facility. Immediately the stress of taking on a huge project began to leave my shoulders. When he returned with Max, Christine and Vaughan, the sensitive care turned into a torrent of action. These people separate stuff so as to spare the landfill and your pocketbook. They work quickly, but with a sensitivity that these things they are moving belong to a loved family member. In their desire to get it right, several things were brought to me to be sure I wanted them to be hauled away. I really appreciated that care. Dimiao can certainly be funny, but he is also a very practical man and he offered me several suggestions of how I might look at restoring a pretty run-down house to get maximum price on the market. His ideas were invaluable, as was the fact that Max, with various tradesman skills, was available another time to put down 4 floors for us. The house was emptied in great time and the price was extremely fair. By concentrating on the restoration of the house and not its emptying, we were able to spend our time making this little bungalow look like a palace. The proof of the pudding was we accepted an offer that was thousands of dollars over the asking price. It takes a village to make things happen; I am just grateful that "our village" included the 5 folks at We Haul Cheap!

Apparently I paid to have my stuff damaged. It seemed to me they were more concerned with being finished than with being gentle or careful. When the owner came out to do my estimate he told me to take it easy and not to stress. He said if I forget to pack something don't worry they will take care of it because he (his company) wanted to make my move as easy as possible. He even said they would have no problem taking my plants (I mentioned that I was thinking to take them up myself and he said just leave them they would take care of everything...). Apparently that is not the case because my TV showed up without a power cord and only 1 computer speaker made it. That's not to mention the hole in my brand new expensive box spring, or the living room shelving unit that was damaged by having one of the shelves knocked right out. They scratched up and dented my new washer/dryer, and shattered a couple of my plastic boxes. Something sticky was spilled over many boxes, I have no idea what it was because they didn't say anything. And there was a huge pile of stuff they left behind that I had to find a truck and a home for in short notice because I couldn't fit it in my car. I wasn't there while they were loading, they told me I could go ahead and they would take care of everything so I believed them. I was present for the unloading however and that had me cringing at the level of care they were taking with my belongings. At one point I heard one of them say "oh no it broke!" and I heard the owner say "is it broken?" and the other person said "ya it is". Not once did they come to me to tell me something was damaged or broken. Not once did they own their mistakes and take accountability for their actions. I walked into the kitchen to see one of my plants completely uprooted. They didn't tell me, I had to discover it on my own. They left a HUGE pile of dirt in the middle of the carpet in the place I was moving out of, I assume they dumped a pot to a different plant straight off the bat. Again, they didn't mention anything. They wanted payment right off the bat when they got here before they unloaded, and I paid $1200 cash because he forgot the debit machine. No problem really, but I didn't get a receipt. When I called their number to report the issues the woman on the phone was very understanding and friendly. She said because my shelf was not made out of solid wood it was not insured, and they do not insure plants. I explained to her that the level of accountability was the thing that bothered me the most, she said maybe he was embarrassed and that's why he didn't say anything. Still. If it was ME moving HIS stuff he would want me to be accountable for anything I did that caused damage or needed extra attention. She asked me to take pictures of all the damages and send them in email, said the owner would get back to me that evening because he is the one who deals with these things. I did, he didn't. I've been waiting several days now and have heard nothing. The woman on the moving crew seemed to be the only one who tried to take as much care as she could with things, and I feel compelled to give thanks to her for doing her best to keep things organized in spite of the gong show that she was working in. I left around an hour and a half after the movers did, and arrived at my previous residence more than 3 hours before the crew reported they had finished. Not sure how that worked but that's what I was told. I wish they would have just taken their time and been more careful. Yes, he kept to his quoted price, but I would have HAPPILY paid more for all of my belongings to arrive intact, and to be told directly if something unfortunate happened. I have to say that I do not recommend these movers. They did get the job done, they did stick to their quote, but there were a lot of collateral damages and unfortunate things left in their wake, I haven't even mentioned everything. It's just not worth it. Go somewhere else. I tried to upload pictures of some of the damaged stuff but it wouldn't let me..

I gave 2 stars only because the actual movers were personable and nice. We originally hired 2 movers but they insisted we needed 3 for our move out of our 2 bedroom house. So we hired 3. We were told it would be 3 movers and take 5-6 hours. On the morning of the move, only 2 movers showed up because we were told it was a long week so the third one was tired. So our move took 8 hours (paying by the hour). I put a call into the office with no response from anyone. The movers were good but I do not recommend this company. We had people in place to put together beds etc but they had to leave because they took so long. It was a very long day.

Damayo and his team moved my furniture from Langford to Nelson this past February.The first two companies I contacted refused my business because they wouldn't drive to the Kootenays in the winter. We haul Cheap were a way better choice. I am very happy with the service they provided. Damayo gave me a better deal.They arrived on time and NOTHING was damaged. Good honest people to deal with. This was the first time we used the company and it was recommended to us, our company is from Ontario and we had a very big removal job in Victoria BC. After contacting the owner and the office I cannot say enough about how our removal was handled. It was very professional, they kept me in the loop at all times and if there was a problem they did not hesitate to call me and get it solved on the spot. The company went over and above to help us out, being that we could not be in Victoria for the job because of Covid-19 they took lead and made sure the job was completed. and on time. I did not expect that within 8 hours it is possible to complete a huge move from victoria to campbell river but these guys did it. They were flying and showed lots of professionalism, care and great attitude. Besides their rates are very reasonable.
