I have moved several times since living in Victoria, and have always decided against hiring movers. After reaching out to Barry’s Moving and Storage, I will never move without them! The guys conducted themselves in an extremely professional manner and made moving day an absolute breeze. I realize now that moving does not have to be a stressful day; choosing Barry’s enabled me to be fully excited about my new place without the common bout of anxiety that usually comes along with moving! Instead of recommending this Company, I will deter people from doing business with them. Untrustworthy and more than disappointing. I am disabled and was pleased to hear I was well taken care of and I wouldn't have to lift a thing. Great! However, things were far from as expected... First off: Allowing people to review your company and give their opinion in order to improve your business is one thing. Taking those reviews and then using it as a platform to defend your actions as to why the customer is upset is nothing short of unprofessional. Dealing with your customers face-to-face in the appropriate fashion through proper communication, is much more effective, appropriate and respectful. That would require your workers to be willing to participate in good customer relations, alleviating such scenarios as my own. I paid my bill in full immediately. After voicing my concerns I did not receive a response. Certainly not the kind of people I like do business with. As a consumer about to go through a stressful time.. be forewarned. I recommend you steer clear of this Company in particular.

these guys were amazing they helped both me and my father move last weekend. they were quick and hard working never stoping till the job was done. Joel and Dan couldn't have done a better job. I have hired other companies in the past but the level of detail was beyond . they were under budget which was a good bonus thanks again. J

Barry's Moving exceeded my expectations. From my first call with Hazel to Russ providing a quote, the administrative team was responsive and professional. The 3 movers showed up right on time and were exceptional. Jeff, Dan and Steve handled our possessions with great care. The move was so efficient and carefully done. Not a scratch on anything. Hiring movers is a leap of faith, but I can tell you that Barry's Moving is a first class organization that treats a customer's home like it is their own. I would hire them again and will recommend to my family and friends to do the same.

Excellent, stress-free move. Jeff and the crew managed two difficult locations (a condo with a slow elevator and our new place right in busy Chinatown) smoothly. Even when the City of Victoria messed up and didn't actually reserve the parking spots that were supposed to be for their truck, they adapted and overcame that difficulty. Great crew and highly recommended!

I tend to move a lot so I've used at least 5 moving companies across 3 provinces. This is the first time that I've unpacked to find that absolutely nothing was broken! The movers were a few minutes early and worked really quickly. They were great with my dog, who was pretty excited and in the way a lot. Both workers were extremely friendly and kind. I would definitely use them again!
