From packing up at the old place to delivery in our new home, these guys were professional, quick and most of all made moving fun. A friend of ours assisted us and he too was so amazed he told his wife that he would use A to B in the future. Very impressed. Keep up the good work guys.

A to B Moving has moved our son and daughter-in-law from Parksville,BC to Saskatchewan. They were prompt, professional and courteous. Two men were on time for both pick up and delivery. This is by far the best moving company in Victoria. Used them over a dozen times myself and regularly refer them to clients without ever having the slightest problem or the least bit of damage. Very unusual given how difficult of a business they are in and how susceptible it is to complaints.

An example is my moving schedule changed and they worked with me to reschedule, also to accommodate the circumstances that I was going through, they did it with dignity, respect, and understanding that goes far and above your typical moving company.

I was left in the lurch by a local moving company that did not show up. I called A to B Moving and explained what happened... the gentleman said they were booked but give him a few minutes he would see what they could do... Less than 5 minutes later the phone rang and in an hour there were two movers and a truck in my driveway. I later learned both the guys had had the day off and they had come in to work to help me move. They were friendly and professional and saved a guy from between a rock and hard place. I would recommend A to B moving to everyone and plan to whenever I can. They sure saved a guy from negative Burley fate. Cory K

Workers were fast and that is the only positive thing I will say. They arrived already tired and seemed over worked. They scratched my tv stand and wrote off my car as they left. No one was looking and my car was destroyed. This could have been handled well and they told me the owner would be calling me to make sure I was ok. That never happened and I even tried to reach out to him. This was the worst end to an already stressful day. One mover apparently didn't have a licence and he got in the truck to move it at one point. If the owner would have called to smooth things over, I would be more understanding. So now on top of unpacking, I am looking for a new car. I will never use this company and I will be sure no one I know does either.

DONT HIRE!!! RIP OFF!!! I had hired them to get a bed suite moved from surrey to victoria paid them almost 900 in total. you would think if someone is paying this much money that u would get excellent service. Due to a miscommunication one item was left behind and when i called the driver he said he doesnt have room in the truck and will take it next week. Called the manager to set up a date and time and hes telling me i have to pay extra beacuse the driver did have room even tho i have told there wasnt any room Even tho the $900 we already paid included the mattress to get delivered. Manager was so rude and not professional at all. They wont refund me for the item that didnt get delivered or deliver instead asking us for more money.They rip you off and dont deliver the service thats promised.

We have used A to B Moving to pack up a storage locker for us, then unpack when we were ready to move into our new home. They were fantastic from the initial quoting process, through to the final move in. We used them again for another move and again they were on time, friendly, quick and efficient. Communication via phone and email is clear and I would use them again in the future, and will always recommend their services to friends and family.

We had a great moving experience with this company! Cautious, patient movers who took care with every item, wrapping all furniture securely, following strict instructions (strata rules...), excellent space management, and very friendly and personable! We went from start to finish without any issues at all, and we paid far less than we thought we would thanks to their speedy work. Would hire movers from this company again in a heartbeat.

Thank you David, Mike and Jess for epic smooth fast moving! We have used them twice; David and Mike for first trip 5+ stars epic men and Jess today we meet very pleasant young mover also great. I highly recommend them as they were great with high priced items like my LG TV etc nothing damaged etc the way I packed it came into new house perfectly. Movers were more than two hours late. They left a box I asked them to move on my balcony, left their blankets in my old living room, and left with keys I needed in order to leave my garage - I had to call them back which wasted time. My newly broken television is less annoying than being told I specifically chose to write off my losses when presented with three different options - that conversation never took place. TV was either not wrapped or not properly secured and is now garbage, when it would easily have fit into the back seat of my car. I was very happy they squeezed me in for a last minute booking and all the other reviews here are fantastic, but I'm incredibly unimpressed with my experience.

Recommend? Absolutely not. Buyer beware. Hired this company to do a simple 1 bedroom apartment move (which they managed to make the entire time 7 hours lol). The movers this company sent broke many of my items despite them being wrapped in the blue padding and well taken care of. I had one piece of furniture that was delicate and fragile. I told them verbatim that my only rule for this entire move was that this piece of furniture is handled with care and that you COULDN'T lift it from a certain part or else it would break guaranteed. It was heavy, so I told them they could disassemble it. They refused to lift with quote saying "I'm not lifting anything heavy". They continued to use the dolly and of course it broke because they had lack of care. The piece was moved into the truck where they stored it on the opposite side making sure they broke the other side too! I also had a large 24 year old house plant that they took without asking and placed it in their truck. I only realized they took it when they brought it to me in pieces saying quote "a $20 cab ride could have prevented this" telling me AFTER the fact they took the plant behind my back themselves.. what a total joke. Submitted a claim for the fragile piece of furniture. Didn't bother mentioning the lamp, china cabinet, and other stuff they damaged. Haven't heard back within the 30 day time frame. Conclusion: No attention to detail Poor response time and communication overall Not listening to owners request. Recommend? No. I wouldn't ever recommend this moving company. I've used many before and I would recommend the company "Ouch my Back Hurts", or "2 Burley Men". Oh, and they were drinking beer outside as if I couldn't see lol. Lucky I didn't call the police.

There's a lot of bad reviews out there for other moving companies, and I just want to say that my move from BC to Quebec with A to B was awesome. Everything was clear and handled professionally, nothing was broken and everything arrived on time. All the movers I dealt with were great. The price can be a little more than other companies but I can assure you it's worth it. And yes, it's true they don't offer you insurance if they don't pack your boxes (so long as the outside of the box isn't damaged, meaning it might have been negligence on the movers' behalf), but this makes perfect sense to me. If you have questions on how to pack something safely (like, say, a lampshade) there are moving companies that have posted how-to-pack videos on YouTube so you can get a sense of how professionals would pack stuff. I did this and everything arrived in good order. Would highly recommend this company!

At first A to B can seem accommodating, friendly and reassuring. However when it comes down to working for the customer they fall short. A to B agreed to start our move in the afternoon with the likelihood that we would not get possession of the new place until after 4pm. I naively trusted them at their word that the movers would return to the job that they started but that was not the case. As a result of A to B's poor judgement we had to spend a night at a hotel and did not get our possessions until the afternoon of the next day. To add insult to an incredibly stressful situation I was told that the problem was of my doing and that the company did everything they could to help us out. A to B Moving cannot be trusted.

A to B: Absolutely Brilliant and Above & Beyond! Thank you so much to Patrick and Bryan for a fabulous move! They arrived exactly on time, came in and organized what could only politely be called chaos, packed all of my worldly goods down a driveway that resembles a hill in San Francisco, arrived quickly and safely at my new home, calmed me down when I realized the carpets hadn't been cleaned yet and I wouldn't be able to put anything on them for two days, and relocated everything to spaces that would keep my possessions safe and dry! The guys were both fast, efficient, polite, communicative, great in a crisis, didn't grumble at my awkward packaging of things like The Leg Lamp or a camel saddle, watched out for Miss Kitty who is 100% deaf and likes to be underfoot, and never seemed to stop working!!! The workers were polite and efficient, however, one of the items they were supposed to deliver from the store was damaged but they decided to wait to get to my home to tell me that they weren't bringing it for that reason. In the end, I paid $200 dollars to have a mattress and boxspring delivered; regardless of how nice the movers were, I can't possibly give a good rating. Hopefully your experience is better than mine.

I would absolutely not recommend A to b moving. We had a plethora of issues with the attitude/ actions of our movers (one drank directly from our kitchen tap.. during the pandemic!). That aside though, the broke a chair, a stair, ripped our couch in two places and put multiple dents into the walls of our brand new home. The only damage they acknowledged to us was the couch, the rest they did not notify us of. I emailed them a long and detailed email to discuss and after two weeks I have heard nothing. Find other movers!

They were flexible. Sort of next -day-delivery. I was quoted $1700 and paid near $2500 coz sofa was oversized. Not on time on pick up or delivery. After move-they do not respond if you think you have missing items. I had GERRY and Marcus, they hustled things really quick. They left great impression all around. Because of cost I do not recommend them.

I have had experience with terrible movers and I have had experience with "ok" movers. I can honestly say though that my experience with A to B Moving has been THE BEST thus far. Usually with any move, inevitably, *something* gets damaged or nicked (eg: small scrape on wall, dented file cabinet, etc.) but I didn't have ANYTHING damaged in my latest move. I even had a lot of garden plants in pots, including a 6 foot tall bamboo, 4 foot tall Norfolk pine, and some other plants, but they took care in securing them on pallets for me and moving them safely with no branches snapping off or damage. I was so impressed! The two fellows that came to move me were very nice and personable. It was the first time I ever felt relaxed and in capable hands. Other movers have made me nervous either with their demeanour or the way they were handling my things. They took time and care and I really appreciated it. I tipped the two guys and I have never done that with movers in the past. I highly recommend this company. My Mom went with another moving company for her move that was only slightly less per hour and she was very unhappy. It is worth paying a couple dollars more to ensure your stuff arrives safely and is handled by nice people!

This is a wonderful team of movers! Given what hard work it is to move people's mountains of stuff (including very large and awkward pieces of furniture), Stew, Nate and Travis did it all so cheerfully and efficiently! For instance, they up-ended our sofa bed, got it onto a dolly and into a tiny elevator as if it were child's play. Travis removed a door in a flash in order to move a huge desk into a bedroom, then quickly put it back again. What's more, they were very patient and obliging regarding our indecisiveness as to where our furniture should go. Stew, the leader of their team, seemed a very clear communicator, both with us and with the guys. Moreover, the cost was very reasonable and they completed what they said they'd call a medium-sized move -- but *I* would call an awful headache and backache -- in just four hours. I would definitely use this company again! We were stressed, as people are during a major upheaval, but they even made us smile and laugh.
