Alright so here goes. I do t usually leave reviews. But I feel the public needs to know how these guys work. The rate is 125 an hour and 150 flat rate for the truck. The truck arrived was a 5 to. Truck so not a large truck maybe 20 feet long. I had asked that I will need a full basement and 2 bedrooms moved. They were barely able to move the two bedrooms. And only a small portion of the basement most of my gym equipment witch is a smith machine torn apart and free weights. The movers use the bathroom without asking. Poorly set up the house with blankets and walk around with there shoes on with not much care. And the drive to get the furniture moved is very slow paced. When paying a service thst is by the hour you expect speedy and professional moving. These movers were not professional movers and there plan was on my opinion poorly planned. Dents were left In the walls and these guys were having hard time moving mattresses and dressers. It took them 7 hours to move 2 beds a king and a double. 3 standard sized dressers a small dresser. An assortment of weights that were heavy but was not more than 90 lbs dumbells. 2 benches a couple barbells. The main guy took many phone calls and the helper was inexperienced and only made moves when the supervisor instructed him. They even attempted to charge me 20 dollar fee for the use of there ratty floor blankets. And when we called to complain they blocked our calls. Skip this company when looking for a moving company.

These guys were the model of what a moving company should be - efficient, quick, hardworking and extremely helpful. Hiring them was probably the best decision I made. Very knowledgeable and all about customer service. The movers took the time to protect our furniture and other belongings with blankets and plastic wrap. Thank you for the very nice job. Absolutely horrible company to deal with. Their mover didn't show up on the day of our move so they subcontracted the work to another mover who showed up almost 2 hours late and tried to re-nogiate the rate when he knew we couldn't say no. Cost almost $1900 to move a small one bedroom apartment from Edmonton to Cochrane and both Getmovers and the mover has refused to provide me with a receipt despite over a month of emails and calls. Some of our stuff was damaged in the move as well but I don't care about that. I just want a receipt as my employer will cover part of my moving cost.

Hired a 3-person team to move us from our townhouse into our new home. Only 2 people showed up. Alex (the owner operator) addressed this by knocking $20 an hour off their rate so I'd be paying $150/hr. I'd much rather have paid full price and spared my fiance's back, since he ended up moving the full day with these two slow guys. I'd specifically asked for the team to put rugs down so our old and new places would not be soiled. They brought a few old moving blankets and made a big deal about how they don't normally put rugs down to protect the place you're moving out of, only to the place you are moving into. So now I have to go back to my old place and steam clean the carpets. I will say, nothing got broken and no walls were destroyed, hence why I gave two stars instead of one.

Three guys showed up to move a bedroom suite and couch. It took them 2+ hours to load this bit of furniture. Destination was 20 mins away. Took another 2+ hours for them to unload and assemble furniture. Charged $150 plus an additional $535 for this. We moved everything else ourselves. Alex wanted money transferred to his personal email. Wouldn't give us an invoice. He was ready to fight and was verbally aggressive
