The invoice: first day 1800 the next day 2200 then finally 3200 it was done ... royally. The walls of the new house are so dirty that I'm going to have to paint faster than expected. Surprise the guys were frustrated with having $ 20 tip each, guess why. They did not give us time to inspect the house before leaving. I have moved several times in the course of my work and it was by far the worst team I have seen. At this price, you will find better everywhere. Les murs de la maison neuve sont tellement sale que je vais devoir peinturer plus rapidement que prévu.Surprise les gars étaient frustrés d'avoir 20$ de tip chaque , devines pourquoi. Ils ne nous ont pas laissé le temps d'inspecter la maison avant de partir. J'ai déménagé plusieurs fois dans le cadre de mon travail et c'était de loin la pire équipe que j'ai vu. À ce prix, vous trouverez meilleur partout.

I've used AMJ Campbell twice now to move and each experience has been great! Their teams are well trained and very careful, as well as being efficient. I was worried about how it would be to move during the pandemic but the two gentlemen who arrived at my apartment were very conscious of Covid protocols and wore masks for the whole day, as well as did what they could to social distance when possible. What is usually a very stressful day was finished by the mid afternoon, without any complications or damages. I will absolutely use this company to move again.

But realized I was in over my head. They packed up what was left, very efficiently. They dismantled things at old place, reassembled it at new place. To be honest, I was a bit sceptical to do business with a moving company as I've always been doing my own movings with friends over the years. But with covid and all, moving to NB was a hassle so I've contacted Atlas Van Lines and got AMJ Campbell to take care of my belongings. From start to finish, I've been impressed with how everything has been taken care of. Noel and Arthur were on point with the online details but I'd like to mention specially Frederique Roy who went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Asked for a reweigh and it has been done (waiting for a refund from Atlas). Most importantly, I packed all my things making sure everything was tight and well protected and they arrived in NB exactly in the same condition, without any box or item missing. This is the second time that we do business with AMJ Campbell. We had a great service 6 years ago on our first move and decided to go with them again. This review only concerns our current and latest experience with them. I was aware that AMJ Campbell hires local team to do the packing/unpacking and we were really happy with the professional team they hired to load our belongings. The nightmare came afterwards, when our truck was supposed to be on its way for destination. Needless to say that when a moving company is unable to tell you where its moving truck is on the continent, it is very worrisome! We were supposed to receive our belongings last week. We first got delayed by a week, than they told us that the truck would arrive a day earlier. The day before our truck is supposed to arrive nobody reached out to us, and we were unable to contact anybody because it was a weekend. Comes the day of the moving, the logistics people are unable to tell us where our truck is, neither why this nightmare is happening neither when our truck will arrive. The least they could do is have 7 days service where they can update customers on their truck logistics.

We recently moved house, and have had several furniture deliveries. The ones handled by AMJ were impeccable. We got notification the day or two prior to the delivery date, with the option to change times to suit us. We were then updated on the delivery day as to the schedule and everything went to plan. The delivery people were efficient and quick, they followed the added COVID protocols without affecting the service, and delivered the items in perfect condition. In addition, the company is donating a portion of the fees to a children's charity. Excellent service and ethos all around.

On a du appeler la police, les pompiers... pour finir, un des deux déménageurs sentaient l'alcool! Malheureusement le policier n'a pas pu faire un alcootest car ce n'etait pas lui le conducteur... Très gros manque professionnel, a ne surtout pas prendre!!!

We use AMJ in Montreal, but to my disappointment it was not professional as I expected. First, on the move day of Feb.27, there were only one aged man and a lady showing up for the moving. My husband even needed to help them move boxes from the bedroom downstairs to the front door. Second, they brought no tools for disassembling our bed. My husband drove the lady back for getting tools. It took half over 40 minutes back and forth. Thirdly, the sales people didn't do the follow-up proactively. We got no final estimate on the same day and even the second day. Lastly, they didn't use plastic protector for the mattress as they promised. They only put a shabby blanket on it. It was just a beginning ! Today is already April 16. The worst part is that the company double charged our move. So Next week, we need to resolve another problem!! I can't imagine how careless they are. Only a few days after we talked to the sales manager in Montreal for ending one problem, a new one comes! I will definitely not use them again.

Ricky, the sales rep underestimated for both our moves (from 1 house to 2 addresses). In one case the end bill was $5200 instead of the quoted $1800, (a difference of $3400!). In the other it was $2100 instead of $1300, An $800 difference. We did receive a discount of $400 because we complained. We suspect that AMJ deliberately under estimated their quote in order to ensure they got our business. We had even questioned the amount of time quoted. The sales representative was unresponsive and we had to go to his boss.

We chose May 12, 2017 to move from a house to a condo. Eric came by to assess our needs and we chose packing/unpacking so as to minimize effort on our part. While not the least expensive, AMJ were the most professional. Eric followed up while Kelly called on the 10 to confirm the packers would be by. She followed up with an email which included tips to make things easier. Packers, Burt and Ronnie, came by on the 11th. Great, affable guys, the job was done by end of morning. May 12 came, the fellows were on time, 8 AM,and the move proceeded smoothly and was done by 4ish. Eric called couple days later to make sure all was to our satisfaction which, it certainly was. My company hired this company to have personal items shipped back to employees during COVID (as we will not be returning to this office location). The service was so bad, I asked my company for the name of the movers to ensure I would never hire them for a personal move! (1) Boxes still weren’t delivered after 1 month! My company ended up paying to get them delivered through courrier service instead. (2) Absolutely no care went into packing the items of the employees - items look like they were literally grabbed as a bunch and dumped in the box. Zero care or respect went into placing or packaging the items, no packing paper or bubble wrap was used to protect fragile items and we are now dealing with claims from multiple employees regarding broken items. (3) Office supplies that belong to the company were sent to employees even though they had been placed separately. (4) One box was mislabelled and sent to the wrong employee. I don’t understand how this company is still in business!

This must be the worst transport company out there. We had bought furniture from a local store and this was their transporter. First attempt the driver dropped, dragged my new sofa from the truck to my front door alone when they should have been 2 guys. We are on the second floor of a duplex and the guys were struggling to get the box through at the top of the stairs. They ended up taking the couch out of the box and wiggling it through somehow. Following issues with this mover Montreal location: Picky on what they want to carry even though they are paid to move all my belongings. They damaged my stairs when moving my book case upstairs and then denied they did it. Make sure someone is watching them at all times. AMJ Campbell and Atlas :The worst moving experience ever. Montreal to Toronto.The salesperson was really helpful, polite and promised many services which were not delivered. The quality of the service depends on the movers and packers, not the salesperson. They were supposed to arrive at 9 am, they came at 1pm. We received our load 2 days later than scheduled. In Toronto they were supposed to come at 9 am, they came at 1:30. The furniture was not packed and protected as promised. We have all solid wood expensive furniture . A vintage black lacquer cabinet was supposed to be wrapped in industrial grade bubble-wrap - it was not. Same thing for a brass console table. Glass shelving was supposed to be packed in mirror boxes, they were jammed into a too small box- so one is chipped. A piece of one mahogany table is broken. An armrest protector from a loveseat was found in the truck amongst plastic garbage when we inspected the truck after they completed the delivery. The bed was put together backwards so the protruding screws damaged the newly painted walls at destination. I could list more- just to say this was the most unprofessional mover both in Montreal and Toronto. I will followup with the results of the claim I will be sending.

Once finally delivered to port in Montreal, the company helped us through the process of customs release and delivered our items promptly and with care.
