Pretty good experience, pretty good service, would definitely use Able again. The only small issues I had were that a few pieces of furniture got a bit dirty (just superficial and not bad) one item had a scuff mark, and the pins holding the shelves of my bookshelves were not removed prior to the move and I luckily found the two missing ones (one outside, one in a hallway). Pleasant team of guys and I appreciate their hard work! Thanks!

Although I had a relatively small move, they did it efficiently, professionally, and courteously, they were such a treat to deal with from the office staff who set it all up to the crew that did the move. Really fast move, very detailed and very good at moving delicate items such as antiques and framed pictures. Moved four bedrooms a living room with three sofas and two chairs and a hutch that was sold wood and in two pieces in 3.5 hours that also includes unloading at new home! They also don’t mind the heavy lifting! Or awkward items they worked with me with an awkward sofa and needed up successfully moving everything. I recommend next time they empress to tip them, they work really hard and it’s usually in very hot or terrible weather!

We have moved with Able Movers twice in the last two years. Moving out of our home to an apartment the first time, we had to leave some of our furniture at the house for staging purposes while it was being sold. But Able Movers moved the remainder of our goods to the apartment. Once our house sold, Able Movers moved the remaining furniture and sundry items. The driver, Scott, and his co-worker, Tyler, were very courteous, good-natured gentlemen who conducted the move in an efficient, orderly and professional manner. They were very careful. Our belongings were wrapped to prevent any damage and they set things where we wanted them in our apartment with ease and good humour. There was absolutely NO damage to either our goods/furniture or to the apartment. They cooperated well with our landlord to make the move one that did not disturb our fellow tenants. The prices for the moves were reasonable. Overall, we were delighted with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their move handled professionally and smoothly.

Jeff and the guys are great. We had a large residential move, they came in and gave a free estimate which was the lowest of two but they didn't cut any corners. The guys work hard non stop and don't eye roll when you ask them to do something extra. Like move exercise equipment 3 times! They packed and moved us over 2 days. I left them alone in the house often because we trusted them and their work ethic This is the 3rd time we have used them in 8 yrs. Two other companies didn't even respond to our initial requests. For us, ABEL movers is #1 in HRM! And Allison is fantastic too!

Thursday, July 17/20 Able movers were hired to move our furniture into a storage unit until the fall. Evan and Brandon were polite and respectfully answered my uncertain questions about moving our belongings. They worked nonstop and showed their experience as they carried the somewhat heavy boxes and furniture. We were very satisfied with this company and will be booking again in the fall. Hopefully, the same team will be available in September.

I had a great experience with Able Movers and would definitely recommend their services to anyone in the area. From start to finish, everyone I interacted with was really professional. Alison was attentive and responsive to my concerns about heavy furniture while arranging my move details over the phone, and assured me that the appropriate equipment was loaded on the truck beforehand. The movers, Brandon and Luke, worked as a really effective team with great communication between themselves and with me along the way. And they worked quite fast even though it was their second move of the day. Everyone was courteous and accommodating, making for a painless afternoon. Very satisfied!

There aren't enough stars for how wonderful Able Movers has been to us. We have used the company for all our moves, and my parents have been using Able Movers for over a decade. They are by far the best movers in the city, they have very reasonable rates, and their movers always work from the minute they arrive to the minute they are done. There isn't another company in the city that I would recommend over Able Movers. Brandon and Evan were super easygoing and pleasant to deal with. They moved our 2-bedroom with heavy furniture, including a sideboard, fireplace, dining room set, etc., to a new apartment where they had to go up two and half flights of stairs!! They did it seamlessly. I cannot express how impressed we were with their speed and efficiency. Thanks guys!

Moved in fall of 2020, great experience as far as Able Movers is concerned. They were punctual, (very) quick and friendly. Price was very fair. Really, no complains to be had. Had a fairly bad experience with a different moving company during a previous move so I was very hesitant to trust another company, but I'm glad I did. If you're planning a move in the HRM use these guys.
