The moving boxes that were provided were also very helpful. Only thing is that the pickup and delivery of the moving boxes were both outside of the time range quoted to us.

Great moving company and reasonable price. They were on time and worked with my changes in the service. I initially asked to move from point A to B. But I expressed a need to move a couch and tv from point C to B also. Worked out great. The best part that I needed was the free rental plastic boxes, when making a booking service they offer these these boxes for 2 weeks free. The 2 movers asked me what needed to be wrap etc. while moving. They were a huge help and did a good job (no major scratches or damages) The movers first language was Chinese, which in my case helps. But if you do not speak Chinese their English was good enough.

We did a big move from Vancouver to Coquitlam and took over two days. We were able to pick up complimentary reusable boxes a week in advance (instead of hunting for random boxes from no frills/ superstore) and the movers were able to stack them quickly and efficiently during the day of the move. Three movers arrived promptly at 9:30am (they gave us a half hour window of arrival time) and one of the movers did a quick walk through of the whole house to give an estimate of time. The other mover started to wrap up furniture with plastic wrap while the other one started to stack the boxes. They were really efficient and carefully wrapped up our leather sofa, put mattress covers over our matteresses and also brought wardrobe boxes for my husband’s suits and my dresses. I felt at ease with their competency and efficiency that I felt like I didn’t need to “babysit” them as they knew what they were doing. Booking with Natalia was super easy and my husband dropped off the moving boxes a week after when we unpacked. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would reuse them if we need to move again.

My experience with "I Move You" was sub-par. I really wonder how legitimate some of the reviews here are. I happened to have moved four times in the last 4 years and IMY spent 5.5 hours to move the same amount of furniture that the previous companies finished in roughly 3.5 hours. In addition, they actually damaged some of my items. I would definitely not recommend these guys/hire them ever again.

My husband and I were very happy with I Move You. We were so thrilled by the service of FREE moving boxes (they are huge and very durable) for upto 2 weeks - they can carry up to 200lbs and made packing, moving and unpacking sooooo efficient. Not to mention that they stack on top of eachother and don't have to worry about carefully packing dishes and breakables. Our mover Sam and Mark were great. They even helped dismantle a closet door to fit our big couch in the entry way and assembled the door afterwards. I've already referred a friend that is using them to move this month and will continue to refer people. All in all 10/10. Thank you I Move You

We've used these movers twice. Both times the movers were very fast, efficient and very professional. The service /managers were great too and the whole thing is affordable and worth it. The movers have a "can do" attitude and tackled heavy furniture and awkward angles with out complaining about it. This time around, we are using them for moving and storage, so I'll update when they move us back in. Bottom line- I highly recommend them. You won't regret it.

Ask for Nathan & Otto! These movers are great!! We've used this team 3 times in the last year and would definitely use them again. They are always on time and very accommodating. One of the moves, we asked for a three person team, my mother in law has a lot of stuff (mildly put) and was adamant in packing herself and not allowing anyone to do it for her. She didn't let anyone know it wasn't done. The morning when the movers showed up, they immediately switched gears, went out of their way to pick up boxes (charged us only what uhaul charged them and gave us the receipt in case we had extra packing boxes left over, we could return them) ***** 5 stars alone for this!! They packed up the whole 3 bedroom condo within a day and they loaded the truck. They kept three categories on the truck: garbage, storage and new home. Honestly looking back, we could not have completed this move without their help. We highly recommend them for your moving needs!

The two men came right on time they were so fast and so friendly they had our entire home loaded up and ready to go in just 45mins. Lucky for us the distance of our new home was fairly close so once they unloaded everything and carried all the heavyset most awquard furniture up stairs and around narrow corners. Nothing got broken no damage to the home or our belongings. In the end it took them less than 2 hours and cost us about $50 less than we were quoted on the phone. So happy with this company. Btw I called with only 12hours notice and they still fit me in when everywear else I had tried said no they were all booked up. This company saved my life.”

Excellent Moving Experience. The movers started and finished on time, they took care while moving all of my belongings. They also were willing to help with anything I asked them to do. I highly recommend them. The company also offers FREE box rentals ( we didnt use it ). Their customer service is also top-notch, booking was a breeze, did NOT have to reconfirm multiple times to get things right, just one phone call and everything was set up.

These movers are excellent workers. I had some "trauma" from my previous movers who double-billed over moving the piano. They said it is $300 for moving a piano along with the rest of the move. After the move, they also charged me for the hours on top. They took 2 hours to move the piano, so in effect they charged me 2 hours ($320) plus $300 for piano. They should either charge me for moving the piano or by the hour, but not both. Actually, it would cost a fortune to move if they begin to itemize and charge $50 for a sofa, $100 for a bed, etc and keep double-billing customers. When I spoke with Nick at I Move You, and explained my concerns, he said he will charge $400 straight for moving the piano. In fact when the movers came, they calculated their moving time separate from moving the piano. They timed how long it took to move the piano, and then subtracted it from the actual moving time. There was a young man with a "Samurai" hairstyle. He worked very, very hard! The three guys worked very hard, but the this one worked tirelessly and fast. I was so impressed, I asked for his name. His name is Collin. I hope you get this man in your moving. I will hire them again.

Look no further and go ahead and call these guys. Awesome customer service and their box rental is exactly what you need. The boxes are free for a couple weeks and then pretty cheap for an extra week. I picked up 30 boxes for our move and it made everything so easy. A couple days before the move they called to confirm everything and to ask if I needed mattress covers or if I had any questions or concerns. They even told me about the movers and what to expect. The movers arrived on time and quickly got to work. They wrapped everything and loaded it carefully into their truck. The other end was just as easy. From top to bottom I highly recommend this company and know you will be pleased with your choice. Thanks again, I Move You!

I was so happy to find a moving company that treated my furniture just like they would treat their own. The two guys (Rincon and his partner) who came to move our stuff were very friendly, earnest and sincere and worked so hard and fast. I never felt like I was worried that they were taking their time because they were getting paid by the hour. Their rates were reasonable and I was very comfortable with them. When our movers bailed on us at the last second, we had to load our moving truck ourselves. It was incredibly difficult, due to my health condition. It took an entire day to load a 20 foot rental cube truck. At the end of it, my husband and I were torched. We could not do anything else except sleep in an empty house on the mattress in the floor until we had a new plan. The next morning, I phoned around various movers. They all laughed, as it was the end of the month and nobody had time free. Then I tried I Move You, initially we figured they were a bit far away and probably wouldn't be able to do it. That was the best choice we made, they were so responsive, immediately came up with a plan, and even showed up earlier than expected! (They called and asked if that was ok first) The two men who showed up got our truck unloaded and into our new home in an hour. I've never seen anything like it. We highly recommend this company. They have so much to offer, next move we make will be with I Move You from start to finish. Thank you, from two very exhausted first time home buyers.

-1 star for the subpar efficiency and accuracy of communication. It was painful to confirm the timing with different guys back and forth. -2 star for the offload guy. He was pretty rude and unprofessional and even insulted us. ❌ Refused to take his BOOTS off before stepping into our carpeted bedroom (after he was kindly reminded that we've just done steam cleaning) He claimed that that was his right that protected by the Labor Law. All right! ❌ Asked for tips at the very beginning. That's really rare. We've never experienced. ❌ Damaged the wall a bit. So we ended up assembling the bed frame ourselves which actually was included in the moving fee and should have been done by this guy. We just wanted him to leave our home asap. +1 star for the pickup guys. Good job! They were professional, polite and efficient! Having said that, we were happy that the manager Nick called us right after the offload with a good attitude and gave us compensation so we decided not to issue a complaint on BBB.

Based on their testimonials, I hired them for my own move. I was extremely impressed by their diligence, punctuality, attention to detail and professionalism. They had all the necessary moving supplies, took care of the furniture, and made sure that adjoining walls were not damaged either during move out from the old place, or move in at the new place. The billing formalities were prompt, and there were no hidden surprises at the end. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Great service and communication. A little bit more pricier than other moving companies. We used a Groupon in addition of paying for more hours so it was worth it for us. But it did include free moving totes (and other services) for two weeks so likely the same price if just paying normal price vs other companies In regards to the move, very smooth and they worked fast. I moved a small apartment with not that many big items and it was very efficient. I wanted to put certain things in certain places in the new place and they were happy to accommodate. They wrapped all my fragile items in wraps that were needed and made sure everything was in place before leaving. I'd definitely use them again! Thanks Natalia and team.

It boils down to one word: excellent! My grandma was moving to an assisted living home this morning. I booked it with 'I Move You' through a friend's referral when we first learned that she was accepted to the home. Thank you, Otto and Nathan! You guys made the experience wonderful. You guys were efficient, skilled and friendly. Especially, Otto :) He is personable, intelligent and good at what he does. I loved having conversations with him. If I ever need a moving guy in the future, there's no doubt I would call you again. I have used this company twice - first time and 3 person crew was phenomenal and easily a 5/5 rating. Unfortunately second crew was not as careful with my high end pieces with an overly "chatty" crew member which is why I am marking them down. As a team they are only as strong as their weakest link. I am so glad our friends recommended this company to us! Everyone is so polite and professional, and Sam and Shan (who were the guys loading and unloading our stuff) were so careful not to damage or dirty anything! Their policy of providing boxes for the customers for free (for two weeks!) and other stuff needed for packing is so thoughtful, it reminded me of Japanese culture (which I find one of the best in the world), where it is considered that each and every time a service is provided, it has to be outstanding and every effort made to leave the customer happy. Natalia, the lady who works in their store/office where the boxes are picked up and returned, went back to the store so that we could pick up the boxes, even though we mistakenly came later than we were supposed to (after the store closed)! Also, she offered me a pillow as a housewarming gift, which was quite a lovely surprise (actually, in a culture where nothing is free and everything has to be paid in advance, it was slightly shocking, even)! Their kindness and going out of their way to provide the best service melts my heart, because I haven't come across too many services like this in my one year of living in Canada. I wish all companies were like this one is, and we will definitely use their services if we need to move again in the future! I also wish you guys the greatest possible success with the business :)

These people are super awesome. Not only where they the most budget friendly movers in Vancouver area, they are also the only movers who provide free moving boxes. These boxes were a huge help in the move. You can borrow boxes from them for a small deposit and have two weeks to return them. The staff is extremely friendly - which includes the movers as well as other people I was in contact with to book their services. The movers came in ahead of time, they were really fast and careful with all the items. My move (2 bedroom apartment) finished fairly quickly and nothing was damaged in the process. :) Was extremely happy with their service and I highly recommend them.

I especially appreciate that they lay the furnitures down gently when we were in the condo where I have neighbors below us. Everything arrived and settled in its original condition. So I actually didn't use them to move. I was going to schedule a move but I had to cancel it due to bad weather. I just really appreciated that they offered to refund my deposit without me asking. The prices are really decent and would use them when I actually have to move again :p

After oomovers not showing up the and saying I wasn't "booked in" I was left in a pickle. We needed to move we booked the day and everything around movers who never showed. I called I move you and they booked me in the next afternoon. There was a bit of a mix up and the movers showed up expecting to only move a couch for some odd reason when I specifically said it was a full move,but even then the movers were happy to help , very swift and packed a truck like I have never seen! I found this moving company on Craigslist. When I called, someone actually answered the phone. We set up my move without any fuss. The day of the move, the movers showed up on time, ready to go. They brought all necessary equipment, and got started right away. The guys were great. They did their job without talking on the phone, or reading their texts. We moved up 8 floors in the same building, so there was no loading and unloading a truck. When I need to move again, I will definitely call this company. The moving date was secured immediately. All of the right questions were asked - in order to make sure we had the right size of truck. The movers arrived within the quoted time frame - the morning of the move. It was clearly apparent that the movers were exceptionally experienced and knew exactly what they were doing. Professional and polite. None of our furniture was damaged - which in itself is quite impressive. The only damage was a slight knick in the ceiling when they were moving a large piece of furniture up to the 3rd floor. It was so easily repaired/patched by our house painter. These movers were absolutely excellent. We were having a hard time finding movers that were fully vaccinated until we came across this company which guaranteed fully vaccinated movers. They followed all health and safety protocols and wore masks the whole time. Most movers completely rip you off with exorbitant prices but they quoted a reasonable hourly rate and even let us rent moving boxes for free. The movers were efficient, professional and even picked up furniture from a third location with no extra cost other than the time taken to pick it up. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends and family.

We used "I Move You" in November to move from a Condo in Langley (with the slowest elevator on earth) to a little bungalow in Chilliwack. We asked for 3 movers just because of the area so we had someone at the truck at all times. The movers arrived on Tome, were polite and fast!!! I thought it would have taken them 4 hours at least because of the elevator and because parking was a nightmare but 2 1/2 hours later they were on their way. Once at the new place in Chilliwack they unloaded in just over an hour. There was no dilly dallying... they worked extremely hard. The bonus was the price... with other quotes it would have been double the price. I would highly recommend this moving company... second bonus, nothing was broken or damaged. So if you want super efficient, fast, courteous and professional look no further. I have told everyone who asked, "How were the mover's" I couldn't say enough good things about them...

I couldn’t have asked for more! The attitude of the 3 guys that moved our stuff were so good. They were very friendly, extremely accommodating, hardworking and truly eager to please. I am surprised at their ability to move so quickly yet with so much care and attention. They were also all pretty strong physically. They also regard every box and item as something fragile even if they are not among the things we marked as such. They were also careful not to bump into our newly painted walls. ???? The office support is also excellent. We made several changes to our move date and all were courteously and efficiently handled. Having access to plastic boxes is also a big plus. Wrapped various items and furniture to protect it, were very careful of walls and covered the stairs etc. We had over 200 boxes along with furniture and they worked so hard as they had to move a lot of it up two long flights of narrow stairways. Overall a good, efficient service though there was some confusion over cost when booking that wasn’t made clear. We were totally under quoted and I had to figure there was something wrong myself. Also a brand new pair of sneakers that I stupidly left in an open bag went missing. We reported the missing items on two occasions but never heard back from them, which sadly speaks volumes.

Best part is the bins they let you use for a refundable 15$ deposit on each, sure adds up when you order the max 40 but so worth it to have them easily stacked, quick to move, great size and no hassle of recycling afterwords.. also kicks your but to get unpacking sooner as you only get them for 2 weeks! They do have people that can deliver the boxes to you on a weekend if your unable to pick up before 5pm it’s $75 for delivery and I realized another 75 for pick up.. so luckily my dad could drop them off for me, but having them delivered was such a bonus and the amount of packing I got done that weekend was worth the steep delivery fee, but I advise picking them up during the week free of charge!

From the beginning , booking the move, Natalia K, has been very helpful, patient in walking me thru what is going to happen every step of the way. On the day of the move, Rintaro, Joe and Colin did an excellent job , did all the wrapping, disassembling the beds and assembling it back . They are all very polite and cheerful despite having to go up and down in our house. I also enlisted their services for moving out cleaning in moments notice, I called them Sunday night and Veronica able to book a cleaning on Tuesday. Thank you, I would definitely recommend you to anyone, 5 star service.

We moved a very full three bedroom house on the first day of December...and it was POURING rain. The workers hustled hard, and were very professional. It was a miserable day to move, and there was never a complaint. The totes on loan were a major bonus, and made packing much easier. It also forced us to unpack in the first week in our new house. This was a positive incentive, and allowed us to enjoy the holidays, as we were already settled.

Very strong men! I had two very professional movers. I had a tall caucasian and a short asian come to move my things. My furniture is nothing fancy but they treated my things with care. They wrapped them with shrink wrap and blankets to protect the walls and my home. Except taking one bathroom break they did not rest. They do offer complementary moving boxes although I did not need them. Highly recommended!

Nick and his team went above and beyond in our move. We downsized but still had a heavy and large sofa set we wanted in our townhouse. Too big for the doors and staircase so over the balcony it went on a pulley system and voila. On time and budget as well. A damn fine job and I would use them again any time.

Our move was so easy! From the very start, we were pleased with everyone we dealt with at I Move You. Our move included the contents of a large condo with rooftop deck. The movers had a great attitude, were extremely careful and were able to move numerous large plants (roses), ½ oak barrel planters, barbeque, fire table, outdoor furniture, fountain,2 large maple trees, soil and rocks down a flight of 15 stairs. It was raining, yet they left no mess and not a single mark on the walls. Joe and Rintaro remained positive and patient, which resulted in an enjoyable move experience for us. Some of our items went to a house and some went into storage; they were happy to accommodate our complicated wishes. We were thrilled and would highly recommend I Move You!
