I was very nervous when it came to picking a moving company after some of the nightmares I have heard people go through. AMJ was recommended to me by a local realtor and they did not disappoint! From the first time I met Linda to do a quote to the actual move they were there for me with quick responses to my questions and made the process very clear. On the day of the move the guys showed up on time, worked quickly and took exceptional care with all of our items. Not one thing was broken, no damage to our old or new place. Words cannot express how happy I am with AMJ. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for movers!

*EDIT - revising from one star* Lyn contacted me this morning to help me find an earlier time slot. I appreciate her getting back to me so quickly. Thanks for shifting our delivery up after this happened. It is making the situation better for us. I was having a great experience with AMJ Campbell until it was time for them to deliver my West Elm Sofa which we paid an additional $400 for in order to receive the White Glove Delivery Service. They told me they would arrive between 1:30-3:30PM. At 2:49PM, I received a call from the AMJ Office and a voicemail saying that my delivery driver was there. I was on a work call (we are virtual, work from home during COVID19), so I could only call back when the meeting ended at 3:00 PM. The AMJ office informed me that they would try to contact the driver to get in touch with us. The driver called me at 3:07PM and informed me that he was told by dispatch to move on. I then spoke with the AMJ office and Lyn who told me that they had been there since 2:45 and had waited 30 minutes. However, I had called them back at 3:00 PM - with 15 minutes to spare and no sofa or delivery team in sight. I have the call log on my phone! Lyn then informed me that we'd have to wait until mid-February (another 2 weeks) to receive our delivery, before I asked her if she could find us an earlier spot since waiting an additional 2 weeks due to the fault of their failure in logistics is unreasonable. She said she could put me on a waitlist for one day cancellations, but our building, like many others, requires more than one day to book the elevator. I didn't feel like she took my concerns seriously and it felt as if she was just trying to get me off the phone so that she could leave the office for the day. To make it worse, we had to pay a $300 non-refundable moving fee for our building elevator to be padded for this delivery on this day. Wish that we had received a more professional delivery experience from AMJ Campbell. I feel stressed about how everything ended up despite wanting to be excited about the new sofa purchase.

** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ** Horrible experience. Extremely unprofessional, dispatcher was unkind and curt on the phone. I would never use this service again, and I strongly recommend using an alternative service if you have ANY chance. Not worth using even if free. I tried to get furniture delivered and assembled using AMJ and they repeatedly dropped the ball. No call, driver couldn’t find my location, dispatcher didn’t even know who the driver was or what his name was. Complete joke. What sort of business are these clowns running? In the end I never got my furniture and was told that they could re-deliver for an additional charge and MAYBE in a month. I’m going directly to the furniture retailer to complain because that is completely unacceptable. Classic example of a BAD small business. Avoid at all costs. ** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY **

Very professional, the crew was very careful with our furniture and everything was wrapped or blanketed. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Overall I would recommend this company. For our particular move the total time ended up being more than the estimated time quoted initially. One crew member had to leave in the last hour. However, they had no problem charging us a lower rate for that last hour with 2 instead of 3 movers. Crew was friendly and respectful. In general the crew we got were much slower than the previous experiences with AMJ Campbell.

My elderly parents hired them to move from their house to Condo. The moving staff itself are good though they did scratch a floor in my parents old house. However the sales rep Kelly Kipp underestimated how many trucks were needed and now we have to go back and forth a few times to pick up the items that the movers were not able to get on the truck. The dispatcher whom I spoke with before complaining to Kelly had a lot of atttude so don’t expect much for customer service. All Kelly was able to do was say they can go back for the rest but they have to charge and a big “sorry wish there was something I could do” typical customer service cop out. Thank god it wasn’t a cross country move. Going to be a long night for me and my already tired folks.

AMJ Campbell were hired to deliver our hot tub today. They arrived early and the two movers were incredibly nice and courteous. The 700lb hot tub had been lifted into the truck (forklift?) and the two hadn't been given any instructions as to how to offload it or even if the power platform at the back of the truck would be strong enough to hold it. They hadn't delivered a hot tub before. My husband had built a dolly for this purpose (they didn't have one) and suggested tying with a ratchet strap while it got lowered from the truck to the ground (much needed). We had some extra manpower and together the six of us were all able to get it off the truck. I don't think they would have been able to do it on their own. The movers were kind enough to help us then wheel it to the backyard and settle it flat onto the ground. I should have gotten their names. Thank you!

The truck driver was supposed to pick up an item to return to Pottery Barn, but he refused since he was scared of his truck getting stuck in my street !!! I told him a couple of hours before him another company with a huge truck delivered some items, but he left. he said someone will contact you to arrange another appointment for a pickup since he couldn't but no one has contacted me since two weeks ago . They haven`t done the job nor a compensation ,

I use online deliveries once a month and this is by far the worst case of laziness and disrespect ever encountered. The delivery guys walked pass a sign with directions where to leave the delivery but ignored that and instead propped up a 60" x 84" box weighing 165 lbs against my front window and blocked the walkway to enter the house. I am a senior and I can't move the box myself and I know these two AMJ Campbell guys dumped it there using a special dolly. Really thoughtless and annoying considering I posted those signs for a reason. Ironically, had they just taken the delivery around the corner of the house, there was two $20 bills in broad site as a tip that they should have taken. I have the pictures to prove it!

Purchased a mattress from costco.ca, AMJ was the delivery service they or Serta used to deliver. I paid for white glove with haul away service which includes delivery to the room and removal of the my old mattress. They just left the mattress in my living room (1 floor away from my bedroom) and told me that they weren't told by dispatch that they were to provide the full service. I dont blame the two guys who delivered the mattress at all but AMJ Campbell as I also confirmed white glove delivery with haul away with them. Spoke to the costco.ca rep and she did not have great things to say about this company as well. Costco refunded shipping + additional cash for me to deal with it as otherwise I'd have to wait for AMJ to come back. Stay away! Update - 2020-12-24 Ricardo was able to explain why the delivery occurred as it did and ensures me that they're doing what they can to ensure that it doesn't happen again. They picked up my old mattress today and I'm pleased with Ricardo's follow-up and resolution.

On March 5 my wife's Mother celebrated her 86th birthday! she declared that she was ready to move and was looking at the Wexford Senior Independent Living as a New home. That was welcome news, now we had to arrange packers and movers to relocate her from her ninth floor 1000 sq ft apartment in Vancouver West end to Tsawwassen and this had to be done over Easter week end. Jim and his staff were very helpful and made this happen on such short notice! they also delivered GG for nine hundred dollars below quote. Horrifying. On the Ottawa end, the movers were professional, but once our things arrived in Vancouver, there were cracks or chunks out of pieces of furniture, they were literally rolling boxes with glassware in it (we lost ten glasses and a few plates). We haven't opened our art yet, but we're terrified at the prospect. Some things that were wrapped in protection were unwrapped by the time they got to BC, one being our bed slats, and of course one went missing. So frustrating.

Moved from BC to Ontario. Terrible experience. They lost a piece of original art, no one is taking any responsibility as I can't prove it was actually lost. I can tell you where it isn't, in my home! Some items were damaged in the move, and were fixed. However, I would have expected more. Will not recommend Atlas or any affiliates after this experience.

I used Alba company to move my belongings from France to Canada in January 2021. My shipment arrived at the Vancouver port in March and I was contacted by the AMJ staff informing me about all the necessary steps I needed to follow to have my boxes delivered at my place. Everything was super smooth and I encountered no issues. After going through the custom, my belongings arrived safely at my new place as promised and nothing was broken. So I was moving with my daughter and youngest grandson from Surrey to New Westminster and my dad got them to move us. We arranged all the information with Debbie to set up the driver and 2 men for 3 stops (my old place, to storage, my parents) picking up everything to go to my new place. The 3 men were very polite, cautious with all the items and transported with care. They wrapped up the furniture with padded blankets and taped around them so nothing would break and were very efficient to quickly load and unload our items in a timely manner. The move was smooth as expected, the staff was on time and efficient. The only issues I have was some unexpected charges and the initial quote was a bit lower than the actual weight. Due to Corvid19 I ended up 2 additional month of storage, and it would be nice if Amj can offer some discount for my storage fee during this tough time, unfortunately we didn’t get a break even if we ask. Other than that the move was smooth, reliable, and efficient, the crews was friendly and took good care of the loading and unloading.

The shipping company that we used from NZ has AMJ doing the customs clearance and Canada part of Door to Door delivery. This should have taken place smoothly and efficiently and was quoted to be with us in a 1-3 week period of arriving in Kamloops for customs clearance. It now looks like first possible chance of delivery will be in excess of 6 weeks after its arrival here, and thats best case scenario. We have two young children, one an infant whom we planned our shipping around, and planned contingencies for all situations. We are now having to purchase clothing, feeding resources and all the things a young family need to cope let alone being in a new environment on the other side of the world. Service has been personal but there seems to be no expediency or understanding to the customers situation. We are told we must wait until multiple loads can be shipped together, and getting all those groups involved to be able to be in Kamloops on a given day to clear customs, and then match that to a drivers routine and route. I find it completely unacceptable, I would not recommend dealing with this company unless your move is across a small town. I am very disappointed my NZ agency are in a relationship with this company.

The building is not easy to access, and the two delivery men were very kind, accommodating, and they just made it happen despite all of the complications. Jim and Roberto are excellent. I recently used Atlas/AMJ Campbell for a cross country move from Vancouver to Toronto. If you're looking for a moving company that is professional, timely, and respectful of your belongings then this is NOT the one for you. Their packers showed little care for any of our belongings, they showed up unprepared for a standard move, and customer service was nonexistent when any issues came up. Moving is stressful by itself but the people working at this business will not give you any peace of mind. Save your time/money and go elsewhere, it would be hard to believe you'd end up with a moving company worse than them! Brutal.

The packing team was incredible thorough, careful and efficient and so friendly. The moving team all greeted me and got right to work. There was a bit of a hiccup because I mistakenly said a piece of large furniture was easy to take apart (and wasn’t). But the team made sure it was carefully taken apart and and packed well despite taking more time. I’d use them without hesitation.

We used AMJ Campbell to move our family from Surrey to Salmon Arm BC because they were my company's "preferred vendor." Big mistake. Their packers showed very little care for any of our belongings, several items were broken due to very shoddy work. They seemingly opened a box and just threw whatever would fit in it without thinking of the condition of the items once unpacked. They also failed to explain their policy of repair or replacement (which turns out its whatever is cheapest for them.) Upon arrival to our new home we found my wifes antique dollhouse to be completely destroyed due to inadequate crating/handling. The movers assured us it would be repaired to the condition it was in before they packed it. Not the case once the adjusters get involved. The dollhouse is an antique passed down to my wife by her now deceased grandmother and will cost me almost triple to repair it than what AMJ is offering for replacement. Thanks alot AMJ, me hiring you is costing me money to repair stuff that you broke, seems fair.

I received a call from AMJ Home Deliveries on Wednesday of last week indicating the new mattress I ordered from Costco.ca had arrived at their warehouse and is ready for a delivery to be scheduled. Delivery was scheduled for Wednesday the following week (today). I received a call an hour before the scheduled delivery time frame, informing me that the mattress didn't even arrive in their warehouse until today and therefore wasn't on their truck. This is a week after I was told it was already there AND I had to take a full day off work to accommodate them, which incidentally was my last vacation day for the year. THIS IS RIDICULOUS and I am unimpressed with their customer service!

I am not sure those are all REAL reviews here. I even don't want to give them 1 star, I think 0 or minus star will be okay. I had the worst delivery service in my whole life. I ordered a dining table from West elm, and this is the company they are using for. First, there was only one option to get delivery to book on weekdays by email. West Elm store staff told me there will be an option for weekend delivery, I paid the shipping fee of $330. I had to call them to book again for the weekend delivery. Staff told me she will send me the confirmation email, but I never received it. These days, this is a basic service in which every business provides. Second, finally, I sat up the delivery date on Saturday and I was waiting all day for delivery. I couldn't go anywhere or make a plan to do something because of this. Other companies I have received furniture delivery usually set up 9 am - 12 pm or 1 - 5 pm time frame in which makes sense to me. AMJ home delivery said 9 am - 5 pm, and no confirmation email or phone calls prior. Third, on the delivery date, a driver called me at 2:53 p.m. and he will be delivered to my place in 15 mins. I went downstairs to see they are okay to find the way to parking and tried to help them. They didn't show up on time, but I was waiting downstairs for 20 mins longer because I thought they might take longer because of the traffic. They didn't ask for any information about the parking or instruction on how to get to my place. I believe they are okay because usually delivery people are professional and they know what they are doing and no one asked me with other companies in the past. I was waiting for arrival phone calls for 50 mins, but that was enough. I called back to the driver at 3:46 pm to asking they are okay to come. The delivery person told me "wrong address, next time." and hung up on me even before I asked why and where he is. What is this! Wow. I was so shocked and so mad so that I just looked at my cell phone for 5 mins. Fourth, I called the AMJ office to find out what was going on. Of course, no one answered the phone so I had to call back. A lady picked up the phone and asked her what is going on. Delivery was supposed to be here by now and the delivery person hung up on me. She said my address is McDonald's.. What a joke! Who order your own dining table to McDonald's. I just couldn't believe what she said. They don't use google map or GPS is updated in 2000? I was trying to calm down even though I was so mad. I asked her to reschedule but she said someone will help me to book an appointment on Monday. Okay, Great! I am done dealing with this company. The service and system were not organized and not helpful. I told her I am okay. I am done with this service. Lastly, I called west elm customer service to cancel the order. I didn't want to waste my time anymore dealing with this. I also had to go to the Vancouver store to let the store manager know what happened with the delivery issue. This is the worst delivery experience in my whole life. I really like the west elm products but no to this delivery service. I was very disappointed and I wouldn't recommend shopping here to anyone. When I saw the reviews from other people, I thought that would be just a few cases, and it wouldn't happen to me. No! I think it can happen to everyone. West elm needs to find a way to improve their service or have their own delivery service. I am not going to order any more products or service from these companies. I hope everyone knows about this before ordering anything from them. I am not happy to say this but they made my worst day, not "make your best move" as supposed to.

Fantastic!!! I can’t say enough great things about our experience with the whole team during our move! Lynda did the estimate and and was super nice and very professional! Gustavo and his team were unbelievable doing the move for us! Very well organized, professional, careful, timely and worked hard. Some movers waste time, hang around and talk, but these guys just did their job. Cyro was a great help with Gustavo, and they both worked really well together. Super nice and professional! I highly recommend Gustavo, he was very professional, didn’t waste too much time doing the walk through and I only had to tell him once what to take and where to put it when moved to the new house. We had them move all our big heavy furniture, electronics, and appliances, and I was extremely impressed at how well they packed and moved everything to make sure nothing would be damaged or scratched. Was also under the estimated cost and time line. Don’t think twice, if you’re moving, use these guys!

I interviewed 5 moving companies for our BC to AB move. I asked all the questions, I researched and researched. I chose AMJ as I falsely believed they were an honourable, upstanding company. Please learn from my mistake and do not hire this company!! AMJ makes false promises, your belongings ARE NOT INSURED if you pack yourself. Apparently you have to pay them thousands of extra dollars to have them pack your items to be insured. I was told on numerous occasions I was insured and not to worry. From our moving consultant to our driver we were reassured over and over again. My pick up raised red flags immediately. Our moving consultant did not estimate the amount of items we had correctly. Our truck was supposed to have another clients items as well as ours. They had to cancel the other client as there was nowhere near enough room. At the end of the day the crew was literally stuffing the truck with our belongings. On the delivery end the crew were not careful with our walls, boxes or furniture. We paid extra to have our big screen TV’s crated and found out they did not crate one of them. Still awaiting a response from AMJ regarding this mistake. Not to mention they lost the power cord to one of our TV’s. All of our furniture arrived dirty, some damaged and some missing furniture pegs. Once we started unpacking we discovered 2 of our boxes had damaged items. I filed a claim as instructed. AMJ replaced my tv power cord(took 2 weeks) furniture pegs and they covered the wall damage. I was told my boxed items were being denied as I failed to take pictures/keep the damaged boxes. I had no idea I was to keep the boxes!? They sent a furniture repair man to fix my damaged tv stand. He proceeded to tell me how great AMJ are with claims and he could not believe they would not honour the remainder of the items in the damaged boxes. They have completely refused my claim for my boxed items, we are out at least $2000. We have lost some irreplaceable items. I used extra bubble wrap, paper and padding for all of my fragile items. I have been told if I had the damaged boxes they would honour my claim. I have also been told the reason they won’t honour my claim is because I packed my own boxes. So two conflicting statements. I have contacted them numerous times and I am met with robotic responses. I have given AMJ plenty of time and the opportunity to make this situation right and they absolutely refuse to. BUYER BEWARE!!

To be honest.. this company does not even deserve the 1 star I have given it. Ordered furniture through urban barn.. was scheduled to arrive on the following Tues. Instead arrived Fri.. missing the side piece for the bed. We were told the delivery of the remaining piece was a priority and I just received a call that it will not be delivered until Thurs. Absolutely ridiculous - not to mention the state of the furniture when it was delivered - they had clearly dragged the furniture, causing the plastic to rip and the dark stain to be scratched off parts of the wood. Would NEVER EVER EVER recommend this company - one of the bosses I spoke to was also incredibly rude on the phone.. instead of trying to de-escalate the situation. Urban barn also needs to take responsibility but at least they are apologetic and not rude like AMJ. ZERO for customer service. ZERO for reliability.

I would highly recommend their service to anyone We found their crew very professional, they blanket wrapped our furniture and took extra care with everything they handled. The crew was extremely efficient and both our move out and then into our new property went quickly and without any problems. The crew was friendly and worked well together as a team.
