Recently moved my 4 bedroom households goods and my vehicle (SUV )from Toronto to Israel and hired MVLMOVERS to perform that job. I used 40 ft high cube container (provided by company) all my furniture was wrapped and they also helped me to pack (at the and of a day I used less boxes). Cross Border Move from Toronto to New York MVL Movers helped us move to New York last week. The whole process was nice and easy. I really liked how they charge by volume. Their quote was clear, no hidden charges, the moving cost calculator is easy to use. All other long distance movers that I’ve contacted were trying to charge me by weight without giving me any firm amount upfront. MVL Movers is different. Basically, we moved over the weekend. Great service, great stuff! I would recommend these guys to anyone in need of cross border transportation.

I recently moved my one BD apartment stuff from Toronto to Sault Ste Marie. Alex was pretty much on time and everything moved safely to the destination. He was also kind enough to accommodate late request to carry my winter tires that I forgot to mention when I sent him the inventory list for an estimated price. Overall, my experience with MVL Movers has been great and I would definitely recommend them.

My final bill was higher than an estimate but this because I had some more items than list of goods I provided in a first place (they were needed more space in the truck) but the move itself was made on time and without damages ,will definitely use those guys again for local move I'll have soon

We recently moved from Edmonton to Mississauga and hired MVL Movers to move our apartment items and car. The overall experience was pleasant, quick and all paperwork was complete. No items were damaged and the communication between the moving team was also great! Such a big move requires lot of patience and many unexpected things can occur. To us, hiring the right movers made it less stressful... The MVL Movers team is highly recommended!

Everything was ok until they mysteriously lost my large antique wall mirror. I had packed everything carefully, signed my name on all belongings, taken photos of everything to document. After weeks of waiting after I reported my mirror missing, I was finally sent $50 to compensate which was not nearly what the mirror cost. I was told they would keep looking but have heard nothing. Before this happened, I would have recommended this company. But not if a piece of $400 furniture can just go missing like this. Very disappointing

I recently moved a couple motorcycles from calgary to toronto with MVL Movers and was very pleased. I had the pleasure to meet Micheal and he was very friendly and helpful with the move. The only reason im giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because their timing was off arriving to calgary by a few days. I understand it is a long drive and that there are alot of factors and unexpected events that can cause delays. To be honest it wasn't a HUGE deal, but I would have appreciated an update of some sort to let me know they would be late. Other than that they were great. I will be calling Micheal in the near future to transport some more items. By the way, he did make it back to Toronto when he said he would. Thanks again Micheal

These guys accomplished something that other moving companies claimed could not be done. They moved an extremely heavy safe. They were polite, respectful and considerate of my property. I highly recommend MVL movers to anyone who wants experienced and professional services. I also never give out reviews, but these guys earned it.

In November we moved from our 3 bedroom house in Saskatoon to Hamilton On. They gave us a time frame, and showed up at the scheduled time. Everything was wrapped with blankets and professionally taken down from the second floor. We received our stuff within a few days, in same condition. Thank you Mvlmovers.

UPDATE: I am responding to the company's response to my review: I didn't open each box to see the damages. I told him about things that were missing and he told me to talk to you. According to your response, people shouldn't store with you for certain periods? The claim company is still not replying or answering (In the states I'd like to remind everyone) READ IF YOU CARE ABOUT CLAIM ISSUES: Our TV was damaged due to mal handling, I did contact the company before posting this review and unfortunately they did not respond. Their claim company is suspicious and even thought I paid on time and when asked, they did not comply when I had damaged goods that I had to repurchase. I decided to go with MVL movers after reading the reviews online. And I will be very frank to help people out with this review because I know how frustrating it is to move across the country and choosing the right movers. - Michael was great to work with and he responds very quickly. - He was very flexible and accommodating (I had to change the pick up date and he kindly helped me). - The movers did not show up on time but that's something that is expected with movers, so I cleared my whole day that day and Michael did give me a discount. - I needed storage, so Michael clearly stated in the contract that I would need to pay full invoice once the stuff were in Toronto, so that's what we did. He kindly accepted the e-transfers in 3 payments because I had a daily limit. SO far, everything was good, here is where things went wrong for me. - He told me that it was 170$ a month for storage. After 2 months, he said it was going to up the price to 300$ (NOT INCLUDED IN CONTRACT) -After I found a place, I told him I am moving in on the 6th of June. He said delivery would take 1-2 weeks but things were delivered on July 1st. - Delivery date were not fixed, he said either 30th of June or 1st of July (Long weekend), So I had to leave Montreal at 8 am to be home for the delivery (Ottawa). - I had left a small chunk of the balance to protect myself and paid once the delivery people were here (they were nice). - So, our stuff got here and they were missing 2 bags. The movers said talk to Michael, didn't bother to take note. - Our TV was damaged. Michael asked for a receipt, which I provided because I got my TV from Best buy and they can re pull receipts which they did. HE THEN SAID THAT THE "CLAIM DEPARTMENT" was going to call me. Well, they didn't. So I asked for their number, which Michael kindly provided along with our case number. Well, the "company" is located in Florida USA and they did not pick up. Once they did pick up, they were very flimsy and said they would call me back and were very suspicious on the phone. - I found a bunch of broken stuff that I had packed very well and effectively which clearly indicates mal-handling. I won't even bring that up or claim it looking at what the TV issue was.

Last month moved from Winnipeg to Toronto , was absolutely happy with MVL movers service! Everything was professionally wrapped and packed and was delivered without a single damage ! I was very nerves about Royal Albert chine bone tea set but was no reason to worry if you have MVL movers to take care of your staff !

We used Mvl Movers to move our stuff from North York to Innisfil. They broad a large truck and all our belongings squeezed in in just one trip. The beds was taken apart and assembled at the other end. Will use this company again.

GTA move from Oakville to Richmond Hill End of February, 2018, 2 bedroom apartment moved to 2 bedroom condo. The guys showed up on schedule with a lot of blankets, dollies and shrink. My experience with this company was terrible. I asked for a range of dates to be put in the contract for the pick-up and the delivery so that I could organize my flights and elevator reservations but then about a week before the earliest pick-up date on the contract, they called and said the pick-up is tomorrow. I told them that was not in the contract and my stuff was not ready. Mike was very rude and told me if they didn't pick up my stuff tomorrow, they would pick it up one month later! I managed to pack all my stuff for them and then they did not arrive during the pick-up time window and instead arrived around 10pm at night. If you live in an apartment or condo, you won't be able to reserve an elevator last minute in the middle of the night for them - and keep in mind on the contract it says they charge for waiting time if an elevator is not booked. For the delivery, even though there was a range of dates in the contract, again, they called me and said they are going to deliver my stuff several weeks earlier. This time I was not even in the province yet so I told them I could not accommodate them again. They threatened to put my stuff in the storage and charge me for it! Finally, when they came to deliver the stuff they refused to unload my stuff unless I paid the full amount - which was wrong because they said I had extra boxes which I never had. Again, they threatened to put my stuff in the storage and charge me for it and threatened to charge me per minute for the time I was "wasting." Lastly, the condition of my stuff was horrible and furniture was broken. When we tried to pursue insurance we were told "I see no damage" and that was it.

Guys arrived, packed everything and transported the belongings, including a 500LB Piano, to his storage location. 2 weeks later, they brought everything to our new home! Horrible service! They had to come by 3 pm but never showed up. Didn’t receive calls. After calling from different numbers they said they would be late. They showed up at 9!! That’s 6 hours late with no apologies! On of the worker asked to give him our safe as tip! ????

It is a shared truck (which again they told us later) so that is why the miscount of the boxes probably happened and our stuff got destroyed because of the number of times it was moved. When we tried to pursue insurance we were told "I see no damage" and that was it. I know Mike is going to respond to this with some nonsense reply but I have all the emails saved about how he mixed up both the pick-up and delivery dates and have pictures of our damaged goods. I don't know how long you can run your business like this.

GTA move from Mississauga to Aurora We were looking for reliable yet fairly priced movers to move from our 3 bd old house into new construction 3 bd in Aurora. After calling a few different companies, we realized the rate fluctuates a lot. MVL Movers was not the cheapest but our friends used them to move last year, so we took a chance as well. No regrets! The team is professional, hard working. Clean equipment, the guys are very polite. No smoke breaks. I’m very happy with MVL Movers, these guys did an amazing job

AWFUL MOVING COMPANY, they were supposed to move my friend’s furniture cross-country and showed up at 12am 1 week later than scheduled without actual movers. My friend had to move her stuff upstairs 7 flights with the poor driver.
