Bob and his movers are fantastic guys! 12 years ago Bob the Movers were recommended to my parents by their friends. After seeing how professional, prompt and caring they were toward my Mom and Dad on two different moves, my husband and I hired Bob to move us, (2 different times). Just recently, (last month in Dec '21) I called Bob to move a coach from Eastern Passage to Porter's Lake. Bob said no worries, they move anything from one piece of furniture to a house full. All this after a very long day of heavy lifting, shaking and moving, Bob and his boys sill had energy to move my coach. They are amazing!

I’ve used these guys several times and so has my family and they are without a doubt the best moving company I have ever used. They are extremely quick, professional, knowledgeable, careful, friendly, and efficient. The last time I used them was to move myself and my girlfriend into a large 2 bedroom apartment. The efficiency with which they were able to move both of us from 2 separate locations into this one apartment was incredible. They were so careful with all of our furniture and are always very friendly and cracking jokes. They take the stress out of every move I’ve ever had to do. My partner remarked to me in private that this was the best move she’s ever experienced and I couldn’t agree more. It wasn’t the first time I used Bob the Mover and it won’t be the last.

Today is my second time for getting Bob the Mover, and I am still impressed. Even so some time had passed, Bob, remembered me and was just as friendly as ever. He and his staff re very accommodating. The accommodated my move within my schedule that I had to keep. They quoted me a price when I called, and both times they have never tried to increase the amount. They were on time, professional,and quick to set everything up. They were willing to help me further, if I needed it. Hi, I found Bob the Mover's Company when researching a few listing within the Halifax area for a quality moving company at a reasonable price to move my mothers 1 bedroom apartment. I spoke to Bob and he was always very friendly and courteous on our calls and offered moving tips throughout the move whenever we spoke. The day of the move Bob, his son and the movers arrived on time and their crew was much faster than I had expected moving the entire 1 bedroom apartment within 2 hours and that was with some furniture pieces being antiques. The moving crew I had I can honestly say was very careful, fast, friendly and really offered the due care when handling her belongings. I feel that it is only fair that I help get the word out after such a positive experience around the entire move and how they really played a part making it a stress free situation. If your in need of a moving company that will look after your belongings and as well as complete the job efficiently. If you are looking for white glove service - this is the company for you! The care and skill is more than excellent. We have used them several times, the last for downsizing our home to an apartment which involved first moving to a storage unit for 2.5 months and then out of the storage unit to an apartment. My parents were absolutely thrilled with the efforts made by Bob the Mover. They come in, each with their own specialty, moving throughout the house like a family of ants with marching orders. What was a very difficult move for my older parents was made much easier; everything was moved and stored perfectly in their new home. Their friendliness and going the extra mile to accommodate made the move pain free. They even accommodated an additional move of a piece of furniture for me just to make things easier for my parents so they wouldn’t have to worry about it later. We cannot recommend them enough.

Bob the Mover is a great company to use whether moving something small or big, residential or commercial. I have used their services 3 times including a commercial move, residential move and a small move of table and filing cabinet. Each move was different in terms of number of crew, and number of trucks, but each time the crew was courteous, respectful, friendly and jovial. Two of the moves involved a steep driveway and multiple sets of stairs, and this was no issue for the crew - they were all strongly and willing. The commercial move involved heavy exercise equipment and all went smoothly and safely. In the residential move, they pitched in to help take bed and dining room table apart, and in both commercial and residential move they helped pack, tape up boxes as needed, to expedite the move. They were busy and worked hard. Very reliable company.
