PLEASE STAY AWAY! We are approaching losing our mobile as it has been waiting for Dan to move it since August and it now December. Dan asked us to get it ready for him in august and send him photos of when all the demolition was done and the utilities were disconnected and the tenant was out and so we demolished a large addition, decking and skirting and got everything ready as he requested and send him the photos and he said that he would be there the following day. We never heard back from him so we contacted him to see where he is to which he replied that he had some truck issues and would need to order a new transmission. 10 days later he needed a new engine. After the engine it turned out that there were some more mechanical issues etc. Constant excuses and no willingness to help our family at all! Dan knows of the situation that he put us in and has never made any effort to help us. The bylaw officers and town planners are threatening demolition of our home as it is not in a habitable condition as it just sits there on blocks! If I contact him then he will sometimes reply and say that he will move it soon but as mentioned it has been months and every time he says he will move it we never hear anything back until we contact him at which point he gives us another excuse and says that he will move it soon. This is not a person of integrity or professionalism and clearly not someone who cares about the fact that a family will lose their home because of him! Whatever you do please do not trust this man as we, unfortunately, did.

Started off well. They set a date to transport our mobile. Then they started making excuses as to why they couldn’t do it. Then they would not respond to calls or e mails for weeks at a time. Then they finally transported home, set up blocking crooked. House not level, property badly damaged during move, and home set crooked on pad. They then blamed us for all of the above. Hard to say how these guys stay in business

We called Countryside Homes who came highly recommended by a local modular home dealer, we had a 16 wide we needed moved from Unity Saskatchewan to Kelowna. Dan gave us all the preparation advice we needed to save money and brought a hitch. Home was delivered in great shape and on time. He set it up and did a great job. Awesome experience! Thanks Dan

Called Dan about a 14 wide I wanted to buy, after a long chat I realized it was overpriced. Dan found me a 16 wide for the same money that was way bigger and better shape. He organized the barge and brought it across to Victoria for me. Nothing short of a miracle squeezing it through the park gates “OMG” and spinning it around and onto my pad. So amazing. Thanks Dan

Completely abysmal and downright rude customer service. Transport of home was over twice the price agreed on. Not a very professional crew over all. Wouldn’t recommend dealing with them. They proved to be dishonest and rushed their work, which resulted in a poorly done transport of our mobile home. Probably try not to hire them, if you can avoid it.

After my local mover in kamloops kept blowing me off I called Countryside. Dan was coming through kamloops on his way down from Prince George to Cranbrook. They stopped in and loaded the home and delivered it the next day. They were so tired. We made our mortgage deadline just barely. Thanks for saving us. Much ❤️

After trying repeatedly to get our 22 wide moved to Salmon Arm from Cold Lake, 2 Alberta companies said they would do it but then bailed at the last moment Countryside stepped up. I’m the end we got our house. A truck hit Dan in a corner at Barrier but only crushed the gutters. Unbelievable! Dan called Paddy from Eagle Homes and he Came out and fixed it and a few shingle. We are very happy and our house is awesome. Thanks guys!!!!

Countryside Home Transport went well over and above what I call good service. Dan was very patient with me when I needed info about the cost of moving a mobile home from Red Deer to Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island. We did have some time issues. My pad was not ready for a longer time than expected. Once it all came together Dan keep me in the loop the whole way with pictures and text. When they arrived to take the barge out of Vancouver BC we were hit with a very powerful wind storm. Dan made it to the island on the barge. Everyone else (pilot cars) were stuck on the other side due to the ferries closing down.This was happening a few days before Christmas. That meant no further permits would be issued over the holidays Dan ended up having to fly home. My home was parked with his truck only 2 hours away up island. I can only imagine how frustrating that was for Countryside Transport. After the holidays Dan was back. With everything sorted out my home arrived in the park. This is when I saw what a daunting task it was coming all the way from Alberta. I have not mentioned that my mobile is oversized 74 x 16. The pad was not set right and Dan and Race stayed an extra day for my benefit incase where they placed it was not regulation. Once they had the proper alinement things were set into place very professionally. With all these problems Dan did not charge me any more. Not that great. Quoted one price, then came out with price that was three times higher. Really hard to get in touch with. Quite disorganized. Many flaws in home which they were not up front about. Did not return calls and basically froze us out when asked about problems with home. We really regret dealing with them, even though they seemed knowledgeable.

Bought modular in Rosen Lake and needed it brought to Langley. Dan saved the day by convincing the new neighbors to let us take it through their field the way it was delivered 10yrs before, they started out wanting $2500 but I’m the end it was negotiated down to a flat of beer and some great karma. The other route would have meant building a road. Thank goodness u helped us Dan.
